After an unpleasant experience with another carrier, I decided to try our local T-Mobile store…read more From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind and helpful. They took the time to explain all our options and guided us through the process of settling our debt with our old carrier while helping us get top-of-the-line phones. The staff even stayed late to ensure we were completely satisfied with our experience. While I was there, I noticed they were giving out umbrellas. I asked if we could have one, as my daughter had been wanting one. Instead of just one, they generously gave me four, one for each of us, and mentioned it was part of T-Mobile Tuesdays. A week later, while getting coffee next door, I stopped by the store to compliment the manager on the great impression his employees left on us. I also shared how useful the umbrellas had been, especially since the weather turned stormy that week. I told him I had given one to a student at the school who was drenched from the rain and had a long walk home. The manager thought for a moment and then asked me to wait. Shortly after, he returned with a giant pink bag containing over 40 umbrellas and said, "Do you think you could find other kids who need these?" The next day, my son and I distributed 43 umbrellas to kids on our campus. There were pink umbrellas, dry bodies, and smiles everywhere. Thank you, T-Mobile! *I hope you enjoy the picture. I made it in memory of this great day.

We had been dealing with ongoing issues with our business network for quite some time. Several…read moreother professionals had come out and were able to improve certain parts of the system, but the underlying problem was never completely resolved. That changed when One Stop Telecom came out. In particular, Josiah was able to identify the real source of the problem and approached it with solutions that were completely different from what others had recommended. The results spoke for themselves. Our service and performance improved threefold and actually exceeded what we were expecting. We're extremely happy with the results. If you're looking for someone with real experience and knowledge who will take the time to find the actual problem rather than just provide a temporary fix, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend One Stop Telecom and Josiah. Excellent experience from start to finish.

He was friendly, fast and very professional. I live in a two-story home and Chris was up on the roof no problem and had my Starlink installed super fast. Chris was great and the price is a great value for the service Empire Satellites provide.

Practically everything in the follow up response by the owner is a blatant lie, further proving my…read morepoint that the guy has no integrity. 1. Original quote given did not specify a "covered cable" install. I would have declined right then and there. My router is located inside a room with no exterior walls. 2. I never "insisted" on using the mount that I bought. If it was indeed not suitable (which of course was not the case), it should have been explained exactly why. All this particular mount needed was a small block of 2x4 behind it, to clear the edge of tile roof. But Chris was too lazy and rushed to think it through. Instead, he claimed that it needed "an extension" (nope, it didn't), and proceeded to butcher my brand new fascia by driving six (!) lag bolts through the mount at haphazard angles. When I re-mounted the dish properly myself a few days later, I was appalled at the damage that was inflicted. 3. He is obviously not used to his customers checking the quality of his installs. He came up with "oh, it's not finished yet" line only after I showed him the photo of the shoddy work he has done, got up the ladder myself, and demonstrated how wobbly the mount still was. Before then, he kept insisting that the mount was installed perfectly. 4. Before he left, he did offer to install his "professional" mount for $100. It was NOT free of charge, as he claims. This sleazy used car salesman's last ditch upsell was the final straw for me. That's when I knew I had to post my review. I have nothing more to say - it is up to the reader to decide who is telling the truth. If you still decide to hire Empire Satellites to work on your home, be prepared to live with the consequences.

The audio/visual and home electronics work performed by Kris and Jason at Blackstone Technologies…read morehas been extraordinary. In the past, we had contracted with other highly regarded A/V companies in Newport Beach and in other cities, but there is no comparison with Blackstone Technologies in terms of knowledge, technical ability, system operability and customer satisfaction. This firm was recommended by the previous homeowner who had used the firm for upgraded wireless and A/V systems. This owner took the A/V system to the new home (where Blackstone Technologies is doing the installation and upgrades), so we were able to take a solid basic platform design and upgrade it with new equipment and new features including TVs, soundbars, subwoofers and wireless home electronics including a Ring doorbell with remote monitor and Ecobee thermostats. In addition, I wanted to incorporate devices like a VHS player and turntable for use with older recordings, and this was done seamlessly using Sonos technology to allow all devices to play throughout the home and a detached casita. Previous A/V companies were unable to accomplish this. The surround sound in the main viewing and gaming areas is spectacular and it is totally controllable using the Sonos app. Blackstone Technologies provided excellent guidance on the brand, model and size of the TVs based on ambient light, main use (viewing and/or gaming) and picture quality. One attribute that stands out is the firm's curiosity and great interest in technology. As a result, solutions provided are based on research, experience and knowledge of products and apps. For example, Blackstone Technologies delivered a Sonos-controlled system that allows extensive flexibility for watching and listening to different media sources. The value of the firm's tech expertise is manifest in their ability to go deep into systems such as TV settings and Sonos app options when training new users in order to provide an optimum viewing and listening experience. The installation of a Ring doorbell and a remote unit monitoring device were installed in a manner that effectively covers all areas that are important to monitor. The new Ecobee wireless thermostats, like the Ring system, have smartphone control capability and are very easy to use whether on the app or at the small, wall-mounted thermostat. The "customer support" attribute deserves special mention. Kris and Jason have been highly responsive in terms of performing the installation and responding to questions and suggestions during the process. At the end of an installation, Kris says: "If you have any questions, give us a call." When I responded: "I hate to bother you.", Kris replies: "You're our customer!" This is in sharp contrast to firms that require a large annual payment to have timely access to customer and technical support. Ironically, these former firms' installations required frequent follow-up and debugging. Perhaps the reason Blackstone Technologies does not charge for tech support is that the only calls they receive from customers are for new projects in their homes or businesses because, as in our installation, everything worked correctly the first time and every time. I would not hesitate to use Blackstone Technologies in the future or to recommend them to a friend or family member.
