The cocktails were outstanding and the local wine that we chose was as well. The food is all amazing and beautiful and served family style. The servers were young and extremely polite and knowledgeable. They can recommend the number of dishes needed to share with the table. We tried four of their appetizers. We started with the Blue corn and organic whole wheat with a puree of seasonal vegetables as well as cucumber caviar, a tomato salad and a beet salad. All of them were flavorful with beautiful presentation. Our main courses were steak, ravioli and oysters. Again, the presentation and flavors were phenomenal. I sipped on one of their signature cocktails, the Applebum, made with tequila and sake infused with green apple and citrus. It was just as refreshing as it sounds. Standouts were the fried yuca stained black with squid ink to mimic charred wood and the grilled camarones in a rich red adobo sauce. The chocolate cake that mimicked ashes was art on a plate with special kudos to the pastry chef for that greek yogurt gelato. Extensive wine list with ability to pair nicely with all of their dishes. Their crudo list is delectable. The Kampachi is a MUST!! Not a huge fan of the tuna tostada, but instead go for the tuna sashimi with ponzu! Incredible! Sea scallops and oysters! For apps, go for Doraditos, rib eye quesadilla, empanadas, etc. All the main courses are fabulous. Personally, when I'm in Baja, have to go with fresh Totoaba. Their Totoaba is incredible.
