We accidentally arrived here, as we were trying to go to Traspatio and our Uber driver dumped us out.
What a serendipitous find!
Everything about this place earns 5 stars!
Starting with my apple/wine cocktail thing! Most delicious drink ever!
Next, our wonderful (English speaking ) server from Argentina brought us a sample of an empanada and told us it's a traditional Argentinian food. Just to be kind and let us taste it. It was filled with spinach and cheese and the dough was cooked to perfection.
Hubs ordered the lasagne, and the plate was enormous and it was delicious. I NEVER order lasagne because I compare to my own, and I never like other lasagne. This one hit the mark! I thought it was really good and my husband wants to go back again for another meal of lasagne.
My husband also ordered a side dish of spinach in a creamy sauce. I don't know where he found the room, but he loved it, and consumed it all.
The show stopper was the ribeye steak with roasted potatoes on the side. The meat was seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly medium rare which is my preference. The potatoes were toasted to a golden brown and had a garlic kick that melted in my mouth.
I couldn't eat them all because the portion size was large, but I sure wasn't going to abandon them! They packed them up for me to take home.
we were there at about 8:00, and the atmosphere was festive. It seems a local favorite because we were the only tourists there, and they were busy.
Outdoor seating, beautiful local families, music, decent prices, and we met some Canadians who live in the area that told us this is a pizza restaurant which they had tried. He owned a pizza place in Canada and came to try the pizza here. They loved the pizza.
I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant! read more
