This is my first time being here, it's a cute hidden place with a good service and good food. We ordered Caesar salad, Mac'n cheese, and Tomahawk. Tomahawk steak wasn't what I thought it was, small, sliced and well done but it still had good flavor.

    - Hands down, best meal in San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (out of 8 restaurants, all but one highly rated) - Top five meals of 2024 When the salad course already has you thinking about writing a great review, it's probably going to be a special night. 3 adults split: -Seasonal salad: delicious. Slightly sweet, crisp greens, apples, dried berries, great dressing but not too much. When it came out we thought it was a bit too much, but the three of us crushed it. Would have been happy with more. - Bread for the table: nothing special, but the olive tapenade they served with it was excellent. Yum salt. -Mac and cheese: Bacon Mac and Cheese executed well, served in a hot skillet still bubbling. Sort of hard to beat. -Rib Eye over roasted potatoes and veggies: The fact that the steak was perfectly done was sort of expected at this point. It's a steakhouse. Unexpected was that the side of broccoli also raised some eyebrows. -Corn pudding: wasn't sure what it would taste like. Almost didn't order it because we've had near perfect dinners brought down by sub-par desserts. The texture is a bit hard to describe, but not in a bad way. Flavor was well balanced between sweet sauce and bready pudding. I was a fan. Our waiter Juan spoke English well and took great care of us! The restaurant itself is also beautiful. You eat at tables scattered around a courtyard under market lights.

This place is incredible in every way! So much so we went twice during our one week vacation in San Jose del Cabo. The team working here is attentive and offer a very relaxing/personalized experience. I don't even have words for the food because it is so delicious. Food and drinks are incredibly reasonably priced! Our food took a little while Saturday night and the workers kindly treated us to dessert without us saying anything due to the wait. You won't regret spending an evening here!

Hidden gem, oh my god we had the restaurant to ourselves. Great drinks, great service, great food. I almost want to keep this one a secret.

Best dinner we had in Cabo. The service and ambiance was perfect! We ordered the ribeye, cowboy steak, empanadas, queso fundido and bread was perfection.

    Ribeye...so juicy.

The food here is impeccable! Vacationed in San Jose Del Cabo for my 45th and everything we ordered was so flavorful. The tomahawk pork, ribeye, it was all delicious. The drinks were well made as well. The ambiance was so memorable with a live performance of Spanish classics. Would 100% recommend if you are in the area.

Traspatio translates to "Backyard" and that's exactly what this place is... in a very classy and beautiful way. The backyard ambiance is perfectly laid out within the local neighborhood of San Jose Del Cabo. A hidden gem off of Highway 1 -about 25minutes from Cabo San Lucas. Don't be discouraged where your navigation system takes you... it may seem a shady location for non-locals... but you'll be amaze when you arrive. Traspatio is something you'll see in the movies... beautifully lit and its motif is very organic and simple yet so cozy. Everything we ordered were phenomenal!!! Porterhouse, Ribs, Chicken, Grilled Ceasar and so were the two desserts we had. I gave Mario and the crew such high gratuity for such impeccable service. What a way to cap our last night in Cabo. Muchas Gracias Traspatio y Adios Cabo

This place is in a neighborhood so hard to find but worth it. The server spoke English and they have an english menu We were looking for a steakhouse and this place didn't disappoint! They know how to season and cook a steak. The portion size was enormous. Our entire meal consisted of : 3 drinks (one alcohol, two orange spritzers) 1 appetizer 2 steaks with roasted potatoes The cost was about $1,000 pesos, and we have almost a full steak and most of the potatoes with us for breakfast tomorrow. We ate about half of the appetizer. I would say that's a pretty good deal, it was delicious.

Wow! What a great experience we had at La Lupita Taco and Mezcal…read more This is a taco place. Don't expect any else on the menu except soup & salad and a couple of apps & sides. There is an indoor area or outside courtyard you can choose from. We had the pleasure of working with several Staff members including our main waiter, Marco as well as Ivan and Miriam. They were all so fun and attentive. They brought us a small serving of soup as an appetizer. My husband had a taste of the tortilla broth which had a little kick to it and I had the bean soup. Both were a nice sampling of the soup they offered. We ordered the chips & huac to start. The chips were thick and crispy. The guacamole tasted super fresh and bright. Now, the tacos are some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in MX or the US. The creativity and variety of toppings were outstanding. I really enjoyed the EL TAKESHI 190MX Rib Eye, Sesame, Hoisin, Ginger, Chives, Crispy Shallots, Flour tortilla. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor they developed was delicious. I also ordered the MEXICAN FLANK STEAK $150MX. Fresh Chiapas Cheese , Arugula, Crispy Leek & Potato, Macha Sauce, Yellow Corn tortillas. All these flavors worked so well together. One of the tastiest tacos they have on the menu is a cheese based tortilla taco called CHEESE CRUST PASTOR $100MX. Talk about a flavor bomb. Marinated Pork, Asadero Cheese Crust, Cilantro, Onion, Pineapple. My husband also ordered the CHIPOTLE SHRIMP $165MX. Shrimp, Chipotle Cream, fried parsley, flour tortilla. He loved it. For my Arizona friends, they will be opening a Scottsdale location in 2027. I can wait. Add this to your must try restaurants. Also, they just opened a location in Dallas Texas.

It has that energetic taco-bar vibe people rave about, but still feels relaxed enough to really enjoy your meal. We started with the guacamole and it was excellent -- fresh, bright, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made to order. A great way to kick things off. For tacos, everything we tried was outstanding. The cheese shell al pastor was next level -- crispy, savory, and indulgent in the best way. The pastor had that smoky-sweet flavor people always mention in reviews, with just the right char. The miso fish taco was a surprise standout -- super flavorful, slightly sweet and umami-forward, and perfectly cooked. The milanesa taco had great crunch and seasoning, and the chipotle shrimp packed just the right amount of smoky heat without overpowering the shrimp. You can tell why so many reviews mention the creativity here -- these aren't just standard street tacos. The flavor combinations are bold and unique while still feeling authentically Baja. Service was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Drinks were great, the energy was fun without being overwhelming, and the whole experience felt memorable. If you're in San José del Cabo and want elevated tacos in a vibrant setting, La Lupita is a must.

We had our wedding there so these are my sentiments on that. From start to finish, the team went truly above and beyond. Mariana, our day-of planner, was exceptional-- calm & proactive. She anticipated needs before they arose and ensured the entire day flowed seamlessly. Ernesto, the property manager, was equally incredible. He guided us through the wine selections with care and expertise and was hands-on throughout the reception--circulating among guests, refilling glasses, and making sure everyone felt taken care of (perhaps a little too well, in the best way). The execution of the wedding was flawless. Everything we envisioned and described was brought to life exactly as we had hoped--if not better. Dinner was a dream: a long, elegant table set beneath the passion fruit vines, surrounded by the sounds and scents of the farm and garden. The reception under the stars felt intimate and enchanting. Mariana recommended soft lighting along the path to the restrooms so guests could move safely and comfortably--a small detail that speaks volumes about the level of care. She even set them up for us as we brought some beautiful Luminary bags from the states - guests loved this touch. Our guests could not stop praising the venue's natural beauty. The smells of the garden, the warmth of the farm, and the effortless elegance of the setting made the evening unforgettable. Dancing all night in the banana grove is a memory we will carry with us forever. The vibe was natural and authentic, unlike some other venues that seem commercial - so this fit us perfectly. We are endlessly grateful to the Tamarindos team for creating such a meaningful, stunning, and joy-filled experience. This venue is truly special, and we cannot thank them enough.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.
