We decided to stop here during our trip to Oregon to try some of their wines. We happened to be the only people there during our visit - which meant we got absolutely incredible service. I do think this would've been the case anyways, but it truly was so fun and special to be one on one with the ladies working. They were incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and super helpful for giving us information about not only their wines but also the growing process. Also, they make and choose the foods they're serving to match the wines in the tastings and WOW. Shelly's triple chocolate zucchini bread did not disappoint. I've done many tastings and vineyard tours over the years - and this was one of the best I've done! We liked all of the wines (mostly white, and I'm normally a red girl), which is a rarity. Beautiful venue, inside and out. You drive up and it looks like a fancy estate home. The luscious and full vineyards surrounding the venue only adds to the vivid scenery, and the views over the hills only intensify as the sun starts to set. The venue was set for a special wedding occasion, and the banquet hall was intricately prepared for the celebration. Staff was polite and helpful. Food was amazing! Buffet style with two kinds of salads, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, beef filets, and chicken and penne pasta. Can't celebrate at a vineyard without wine right?? While they had several selections (including beer) I'm a sweet white wine kind of girl. They called it "picnic wine." Well...I do love picnics. Dance floor and DJ were also on point-really great atmosphere for getting the wedding guests on their feet. Would recommend as long as you're comfortable with the long drive! Wow, talk about a great wedding venue... Our good friends were married here and couldn't have had a more beautiful wedding. Sweeping views of vineyards everywhere you turn. Countryside, noise-free environment. Large reception area... One of my favorite details here was the large window that allowed guests to look down into the wine-making area. They have huge wine barrels down there! I seriously LOVED the food. I'm not sure what caterer they went through, but that pork was phenomenal. Don't miss out on the photo opportunity by the fountain at sunset. It was gorgeous. I'm sure this place costs a pretty penny, but as a guest, I loved the time we spent here. read more

If flashing lights and police cars are the end to your dream wedding, then Zenith Vineyard is the place for you. This was my first time at this venue and it really has a beautiful backdrop. Unfortunately, that's about it. While the ceremony was beautiful, the exclusive catering company (Vibrant Table) sent the party crashing to a halt by closing the bar at 8:40 p.m. This was a surprise for everyone there, as it was not a wild wedding reception, despite claims of the event manager of aggressive alcohol abuse. Apparently, there were 'three strikes' regarding their alcohol policy, however the wedding party was never warned or aware that there were problems. It's a tough decision to close a bar early at a wedding, especially with no back-up plan or limited non-alcoholic beverages available. The event essentially stopped and they allowed it to get out of control. While trying to get answers from the event manager, she was non-responsive unless she was insulting the bride. Attempts to get in touch with the owners of the venue went unanswered. Just when the wedding party started to calm down and try to make the best of a bad situation, the police showed up. It was extremely embarrassing and the unprofessional conduct of the owners and accusations of the venue management unfortunately made this a night to remember. If this is your dream wedding... cheers. If not, don't gamble on Zenith. read more

Beautiful view and gorgeous space. However, the service was subpar. I was part of wedding here recently and the power went out due to an accident m just up the road. No back up generators were on site for at least 5 hours. The groom and a couple of his groomsmen had to go to Home Depot and rent generators. This also meant the bathrooms were out - the location brought in a single port-a-potty and left it on the trailer. Lastly, the owner does not work well with others; do not expect any accommodations during this pandemic (aka no cancellations for the safety of you and your family, etc.) read more

We had our wedding here in December and it was fantastic! It's a beautiful place! The ballroom is gorgeous, the bridal suite is enormous, and the groom's room has a poker table and a pinball machine. It is not inexpensive to have your wedding here, but Kari and Tim are upfront about costs, deposits, cancellations, etc. It's also not as expensive as another winery we checked out. No doubt this place is beautiful. The wine is also very good. If you want to have a wedding here I'd think twice. They really nickel and dime you. You don't realize how much you're going to pay until you are well underway. EVERYTHING is an additional cost. The owners start out friendly and helpful but I think it's misleading all the additional expenses you have to cover. Tim can be unprofessional and kind of rude. His wife is pleasant and kind until there's a problem, then she sends you to her husband. If you have infinite amounts of money you wish to spend on your wedding then by all means, have it here and it will be beautiful. First, the venue is stunning. The location is incredible and the building itself is gorgeous. The view from the back lawn is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to have sunny weather and our guests just loved it. You get a view of the rolling hills, the vines and just green as far as the eye can see. The veranda is also all sorts of amazing perfect for a cocktail hour (like we had while we were taking pics). We were looking for a vineyard that had a great indoor/outdoor option in case Oregon decided to be Oregon and rain on the wedding day. We found that most outdoor/indoor locations were seriously lacking in the indoor part. Mostly barns and very rustic. Fine if thats what you are into, not my style. Zenith, however, is elegant and classy, with a French vibe. Tears came into my eyes when I say the bridal suite. Absolutely gorgeous. Just to know up front: they require you to buy their wine ( a case for every 40 people) but their wine is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get the White Veil and the Tempernillo (very popular choices with the guests). Kari and Tim (the owners) also put together a 1.5-2 hour wine tasting for up to 8 members for you to choose the wines for the wedding. It was a fun little event and Kari put together a little meat, cheese and fruit tray. They also only allow you to use one of their 4 caterers: Willaby's, Loustic, Art of Catering and Vibrant Table. The only thing I have to say negatively is that Kari and Tim can be a little gruff in their communications. They are very strict about the insurance part and were a bit rude when I misread some of the fine print that stated they will not accept State Farm insurance. However, in person they are very friendly and personable. I think they just have strict expectations for their venue and don't want do deal with flaky brides. Overall, it was what I was looking for. It absolutely made our day to be in this beautiful vineyard and our guests just ooo'd and aww'd the whole time. read more

This is an absolutely stunning place to get married. Kari Ramey was great to work with and we got a lot of free stuff. We didn't end up choosing this as our venue though because the venue and catering alone is over our budget. You have to use one of their recommended caterers and they're pricey. You also have to buy wine from them even if you wanted to have a dry wedding (which does make sense if you get married at a winery, I guess). But all of that adds up and you're already at like $8k. Anyway. If I had a much higher budget, I think I might like to get married here. But I don't. And I am not. read more

Our daughter's wedding and reception was held at Zenith Vineyard in July (2021). We chose the venue because it is beautiful and we wanted to showcase the beauty of Oregon to our out of state guests. However, you should be wary of the owner Tim Ramey. At approximately 9:15 pm he called and ordered the caterer to close the bar. He was never present at the event and his only representative at the site had left by 8:00 pm. Before leaving that representative never expressed any concerns to us or our onsite wedding planner. According to the catering manager the reasons he gave at that time were: an alarm going off in a winery office; people were wandering all over the place; and alcohol was out of control. For the next hour we waited and finally met with the catering manager to deal with his actions. We were upset and our daughter cried. The catering manager told us alcohol was not over served, nor was there rowdy behavior or drunkenness. There was nothing amiss in the winery office (the area was not roped off nor do we know who opened the door since they do not have video cameras in that area of the venue). Ramey refused to speak with us on the phone, telling the catering manager that he was not willing to engage in conversation with us. Ultimately the catering manager (not Ramey) decided to reopen the bar half an hour before the reception had to close. We communicated with Ramey via email expressing our displeasure. In response he now alleged "the groomsmen were the major issue with the Groom too blitzed to speak." The wedding party numbered 16 with the 10 women getting ready at 9 am and the groomsmen arriving in the early afternoon for pictures and to prepare for the 5:00 pm ceremony. We also had extended family come early for pictures and some of them had a glass of sparkling wine before the ceremony. By our count 11 bottles of sparkling wine were consumed during that time. After the ceremony one of the groomsmen was appropriately cut off. The groom was not drunk. We were there, Ramey was not and he later apologized for insulting the groom. We contacted our other vendors to see if they thought our guests were out of control and none of them said there was anything out of the ordinary. Mr. Ramey also stated in an email that alcohol consumption was "not a big issue" at our event. He also stated that he needed to stop bar service to assess the situation. However, the situation could have been assessed before the bar was closed if they had appropriate management staff on hand. We have attended many weddings and this group was having a good time dancing and having fun. There are always some people who consume too much alcohol at weddings. The overwhelming majority of guests did not. To ensure alcohol was not an issue we rented three charter buses to take our guests to the wedding and back to their hotels at its conclusion. The caterer (Willaby's) was one of three Zenith approved food and beverage vendors. Based on our experience, they will ultimately do Zenith's bidding, not yours. It became clear that the catering team and Mr. Ramey were in communication with each other without including us, their client, in the conversations. Tim Ramey's actions spoiled what was otherwise a beautiful wedding. We had read some of the previous reviews warning of his behavior. There are many beautiful venues in Oregon and I would choose one that won't make your daughter cry on her wedding day. read more

Had an event here for over 200 people, while the catering company we hired was very nice at the event the people in charge of the actual Vineyard and venue itself were some of the worst people I have ever worked with. They miss handled our money multiple times, accidentally cashed the check that was meant for the catering company for themself, and 4 days before our scheduled event told us "we're gonna give you 6 heaters (which we didn't ask for) and you owe us 300 dollars for the heaters". There are tons of hidden fees, make sure that the contract they make you sign lists everything because they will continually add charges every day you get closer to your event, it's a real scandal. Originally certain things were supposed to be included and then they told us we couldn't come until we gave them more money. The wife cuts you off when you speak and is rude and then gives the phone to her husband who is even worse. Overall those who attended the event had a great time and were happy, but as someone part of the organization of the event i've never dealt with a worse place. read more

The only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars is because the venue itself is beautiful, the event coordinator Jenn was amazing and our day was one for the books... But beware the owner of the venue, Tim, who is a rude prick who should not be in the wedding industry. Our experience with him was worse than horrible and I do not wish that on any bride & groom already stressing about their big day. He emailed all of our outside hired vendors and told them our wedding was canceled and not to show up 4 DAYS before our wedding instead of calling us directly because our payment for wine was flagged as fraudulent behavior by our cc company which we didn't know about and was settled in a matter of minutes after our vendors called us informing us our wedding was canceled. Again, these were vendors that were hired by US not Zenith. At the end of the night Tim charged us for beers that were offered to our wedding party pre-ceremony even though free beer was being served through our caterer. They will charge you for breathing the air at their venue. Their company has no consideration of the events they hold at their winery (weddings) and do not know how to make people feel welcomed and taken care of at their establishment. He will bombard you with rude conniving emails but not take a second to talk to you on the phone like a real business owner would do if there was a problem or a question. I would never have had even stepped foot in this winery if I knew this was going to have happened to us during our wedding time. I would not recommend anyone having their wedding here, it's a beautiful scenery but the pro's to not outweigh the con's at this point. By the information we have gotten from him we are not the first people to have this complaint nor take legal action. read more

I recently attended a wedding at this venue. While the actual wedding was beautiful, the customer service provided by the manager was below subpar. The staff seemed ready to enjoy a wonderful event but the manager was unable to smile at any of the quests or members of the wedding party, she created issues when there was no basis for such and searched personal property of the wedding party while the wedding and reception were in progress. She ended the evening by creating a scene, then when the wedding party and guests were trying to figure out how to salvage the evening, she was in the corner laughing with her staff. It may be a beautiful venue but the professionalism of the staff and management need some (considerable) evaluation. The wine might have been decent but frankly the whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth I won't be buying the wine either. read more

Had my dream wedding at Zenith last weekend! They are the absolutely perfect venue for a vineyard wedding. We did our ceremony inside in front of the fireplace, cocktail hour on the veranda, and then reception inside. It was so fun getting ready in the bridal suite all day, and they provided us with wine while we got ready. The guys had fun in the grooms room and they were provided with beers. While the ballroom can fit over 200 guests (I can't remember how much - maybe 250?), we only had 100 and it still felt perfect - didn't feel like there was empty space but didn't feel crowded. They provide a lot of stuff, like round tables (which we didn't actually use - we rented farm tables through our caterer), chairs, and all place settings (glasses, plates, silverware, etc). Our guests keep commenting on how beautiful the setting was, with amazing views. With a March wedding, we didn't have anything on the vines, but it was still gorgeous! There were beautiful yellow flowers in the vineyard that made for awesome photos, and we got lucky with the weather. That said, I think it'd be beautiful here no matter what the season or weather! Even our other vendors (see below) would get excited when we told them that we'd gone with Zenith - they all say it's one of their favorite spots! Kari was great throughout the planning and was always very quick to respond to my emails and questions. Tim was very helpful with the wine tasting and wine orders. My dad is a big wine person, and was very impressed with the options at the tasting. We ended up needing to buy more wine during the reception because we were running out, but we apparently over bought when we did that and had a lot of extra. Tim graciously offered to buy back the extra at full price, or to help package up what we had left over for travel. We ended up returning some of it and keeping 2 of the cases - now we have lots of bottles to celebrate our future anniversaries with! The setting is stunning without a doubt. That's where the goodness ends, however. The owners are awful (especially Tim), the service is good until the check is cashed, and the price you are quoted is nowhere near what you will end up paying. Guests had a good time and the setting really is very pretty. Just don't let that convince you into making a hasty decision. You will get nickled and dimed at every possible opportunity and the last thing you want is to be treated rudely and without respect on your wedding day. Our daughters wedding was here and please look beyond the beauty of this place, our experience was terrible. Please realize when you look at the cost of their exclusive caterer, there are more charges than just the food, including all beverages, alcohol and non alcoholic, and a huge gratuity of 19%, appetizers, which you have to have if there is alcohol served. We did not hire a wedding planner because of the cost and thinking that certainly this venue and caterer do weddings, we were criticized by not having one after the event. We experienced a high volume of contracts, not initiated by our changes, but by the caterer, Vibrant Table, which is Zenith's exclusive caterer. Some weeks we had to compare contracts to see exactly what had changed, it became increasingly frustrating. My daughter and I made it a point to let Zenith know, we thought they would like the feed back, but we were wrong, we were yelled at by Kari Ramey that they are the best and they are rated number one. I could not believe we were treated this way and Kari never once followed up on any of our issues we presented to her. I would think as a form of customer service, you should follow up on any issues of concerns with your clients, whether you agree or not. The weeks before the wedding another flood of contacts, we were surprised that they were not more organized; certainly we thought they do this every week, yet decisions were left to the end. The day of the wedding, we could not figure out why there were two tables in the parking lot with the linens held down by water bottles so they would not blow away. Come to find out, the floor plan was not true to the diagram; one had to read the fine print that was switch in the final days. The floor plan showed the guest book table and gift table inside the building, but the fine print said out by pathway. We had many quest complaining on leaving their gifts out there. I talked to the event planner that day, but nothing was done about it, he claimed it was right. Our flowers arrived on the time the contract stated, only to find that they could not go on the tables, because the linens were not on. Our guest arrived to find the staff setting the tables, so the first impressions were not good, but everyone knew about the accident on I-5 and our guest took it in stride as well as we did. We were unable to put our favors out on the tables, since they were not set and ready. It was a cold August day, so the doors to the veranda stayed closed, only to have our guest congregate on the veranda and so many were tripping over the door stops that protruded out from the wood floor. I had many relatives willing to stand over these stops, just so the guests were safe! We paid for a non alcoholic station were lemonade with blueberries floating (we were given that visual in selecting the lemonade) but we never saw that, in fact, our guest under age, had to go to the bar for a drink! In the contract it states we would only be charged for the beverages consumed, opened or tapped for our party, we had one case of special wine brought in, which was not all opened and Zenith refused to refund us the corkage fee. This special wine was not served to all guests as instructed in the contract. Overall, we were treated very rudely and unprofessional by Zenith and their exclusive caterer Vibrant Table. We found these two separate companies do not work together and point blame on the other, but as a consumer, you can't use Zenith without using Vibrant Table. As a consumer we would never recommend this venue to anyone, it is not worth the time or money you have to pay for this kind of result. read more

Zenith vineyard is a beautiful venue both inside and out. All our wedding guests were very impressed. The vineyard wines we selected with Zenith's assistance were enjoyed by all. The exclusive caterer, Vibrant, did an outstanding job and made the planning process and event truly wonderful. My lower ratings are a result of dealing with the owner of Zenith. To begin, in pre selecting wine, there was pressure to purchase more wine and types than what we thought we would need. We went with the pressure because of Zenith's assurance that the owner would purchase back unopened bottles that we did not use and trusted their expertise. Even with the high rental cost of the venue, we had to additionally pre pay for each chair that was to be set up for the outside ceremony at the time of booking the event. We were told then that if our numbers changed, Zenith would reimburse the overpayment for chairs. Our written contract also stipulated that we would get the security deposit back two weeks after the wedding. At the end of the event, I assumed the caterer would tally the number of bottles and types being returned. That is not their policy. In hindsight, we should have inventoried the wine to be returned ourselves at the end of the wedding so that we would have known what and how many bottles were being returned. Four weeks after the event, we had not heard from Zenith about any refund. We contacted them and then exchanged a few emails over the next week clarifying what amount of refund was due in a consciously polite manner from our end. The refund was to include Zenith's tally of returned wine, the security deposit, and only after having to prove to the owner that there were indeed less outside chairs than what was originally purchased, an additional minor refund was also due. The owner agreed to the refund with an exception. In the same sentence of saying, "you are correct" and agreeing to the additional minor refund for the chairs, he then, totally out of the blue, trumped up a new charge. We had no pre knowledge of this charge nor had we ever agreed to it verbally or in writing. In emailing the owner a response to let him know that I was "disappointed" with the way business was being conducted, and to "please, just send the refund" as is, he sent a scathing email back calling me "obnoxious." He also wrote, "You may want to find someone to talk with to help you resolve these aggressive/anger issues." Others reading all of the email exchanges between us, were astounded at the owner's obvious anger and unwarranted, outrageous attitude. I guess his definition of aggression/anger is when a consumer makes a request for what has already been agreed upon between both parties. After that email, the last of our communications, and now more than 6 weeks post event, we still have not received any refund. It's been unpleasant to deal with Zenith. Luckily, it was with the Vibrant staff, who were all delightful, efficient, flexible, and professional, that we had the most interaction with throughout the planning process, event, and aftermath. read more
