Our venue was rustic and had no actually catering kitchen space available, despite this drawback, Chef Jade managed a massive charcuterie station followed by a 16 table family style spread for 120 guests that had my guests raving. Our guests were a split of people who love to eat and eat well and fellow industry peeps, we were absolutely blown away by their selection of fall menu offerings Chef had some down time and was able to engage with our guests and that made for a very special connection that doesnt normally occur at events of this nature which was our goal. We were able to enjoy whole duck, juicy tender brisket, and rich perfectly cooked salmon. I must applaud that the beans were a showstopper that had guests raving and asking for more. There was such an abundance of food that we couldn't even finish every plate and we made sure the entire staff was able to eat a hearty portion at one of our tables set with the families. We need to standardize this practice of inviting the teams to sit with us versus hiding away the teams from our guests. On the note of service Chef ran a tight ship, was able to coordinate with our front of house team that were also hand picked for the occasion and was one of the most talked about components of our wedding day. We would reccomend hiring Jade again for any occasion, but preferably one where we get to spend more time conversing with Jade and Shawntaye. We live in Texas but always make a point to book Chef Lela anytime we are fortunate enough to make it to CA wine country. The food is always outstanding and we never leave one of her meals even remotely hungry. We love that she incorporates so many fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs from her own garden into our meals.
