Zen Windows gets an A++! After doing weeks of research and sitting through several lengthy sales pitches, we decided to check out Zen Windows. They gave us a firm estimate on our windows without having to send anyone over or anything! They were honest and upfront with the products and techniques they use making it easy to research the product value. I sent over a few pics and measurements for our 16 windows needing replacements and received a solid estimate for install! Pre measure and install was a breeze, and payment even easier! We were working through an energy grant from our city and Zen was happy to comply with all the permits and evaluations required for install! Not only have we seen an immediate change in our energy bills and had great delight in the esthetic and practicality of our new windows, but 9 months later we noticed a slight issue with one of the windows. Literally within the day of sending Zen an email about the issue, they had technicians out that afternoon to thoroughly assess and fix the problem, FREE OF CHARGE! We are big fans of Zen and HIGHLY recommend them! Thanks Zen Team! Grateful for a business with integrity, honesty and affordable prices. read more

We have had Zen do window jobs for us. The first two jobs were straightforward with a basic order. The third job was a custom window and the service was just wasn't great. The install hurried and sloppy. Overall they do good work but could be better. Be aware of up charges and do your research prior to calling. read more

I thought I'd posted this review previously with two stars because I thought the installers did a good job then I found the wet wood and looked under the eaves. The windows are hard to open and close. Because they remove for cleaning they practically jiggle out just by opening. The size of the frame cuts down the windows nearly by half with the smaller windows in the kitchen. Then I was told I couldn't get tax credit on energy efficiency because I would have gotten the more expensive windows. I was basically only offered two styles and choose the most expensive. I expected energy efficiency read more

I requested a quote from Zen Windows and even after I made it clear I wasn't moving forward because I found a better price elsewhere, they're still sending me SPAM emails. Not cool. read more

My Zen Windows experience began well. I spoke with Brandon on the phone & gave him measurements for the 12 windows needing replacement. Got my quote the next day. Easy!! Then I asked to see a sample of the window he quoted as well as the other 2 lines they carry so I could compare, and the breakdown began. I was told that once I approved the quote Brandon would come out to do final measurements and I could see the window at that time. I responded that I couldn't spend $8,000-10,000 without seeing what I was purchasing. His response was "If you like the window, will you be moving forward with us replacing your windows? If you're still shopping around, I don't want to schedule to come out yet." Really?? I told him we were still were meeting with 2 companies, and if he wanted to be in the running I had to see a Soft-Lite window as there was no place else in the state to go and see one. This was his response "If I brought a cheap window and a Soft Lite window with me, could you tell the difference? Unless you're experienced with windows, probably not. We do not do in-home appointments in order to save you from dealing with a high-pressure salesman. Our process is not for everyone. Thank you for allowing us the chance to serve you." I found this response to be insulting to say the least as I have been educating myself on replacement windows before I make what I consider to be a sizable purchase. While I can appreciate the soft sell approach that Zen Windows supposedly incorporates, I can't buy something sight unseen. I am disappointed in this process to say the least. Having read good things about the window and the process, I would have loved to have been able to see a sample. It's puzzling why they would lose a potential sale over this, and I have to wonder why they are reluctant for you to see the product before you sign? Zen Windows philosophy would appear to be soft sell, but I found this strong arming to "commit before you get to see our product" technique more offensive than some other in home window sales techniques have been. At least EVERY other company is willing to let you see before you buy! I'm thinking that the "Zen" applies to the owners rather than the customers. 10 minutes to work up your estimate & then the final measure is all they are willing to put in for a sale. Other companies I'm dealing with actually put in effort for my business. No Zen for me! I read more

This company was a breeeeze to work with! I had contacted a few other companies and they were super aggressive, I liked the Brandon & co. was low pressure, chill and responded to me via email (I hate talking on the phone) Install crew showed up on time, and finished all 9 of my beautiful new windows in about 4 hours. The windows are so freaking beautiful! I feel like a total nerd, i just stand there and admire them! and they are easy to clean, as they all flip out. Can't wait to see how much better my energy bill is this winter!!! Thanks guys! read more

I don't usually post ratings. With Zen, I want to express my sincere gratitude appreciation that we experienced. They were kind, and I felt like I was listened to. And my need for new windows was met with little to no hassle. If you're looking for a team that will care for you from start to finish go with Zen Windows. read more

Luke, James and the rest of the team at Zen Windows are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend working with them!

Every single window on the outside of my house was left a nightmare. They took new, white Trex trim and black-scuffed every single piece, not one of which was installed back on the house correctly. They left huge gaps, globs of random caulk, the trim boards no longer touch each other at the corners, in some cases they don't touch the house, either. It looks like they drop-kicked all the trim on asphalt, I don't know why they didn't just leave it alone. read more

After researching window manufacturers/installers, and then repeated the process a couple of times we finally settled on 3, Gravina's, Champion and Zen. After speaking with Mike Garvina and setting up an appointment, they never showed up! Never called to cancel; nothing!! Champion did show up and it was a very good experience, but still had Zen to consider. After speaking with Jessica and doing some comparison of actual windows, we decided on Zen. The quality was definitely on par with others I researched. Jessica quoted a 3 week turnaround, and that's exactly what they delivered. The old windows were removed and new ones installed today! Jessie and his crew displayed a level of professionalism you don't see everyday! They laid down runners to protect the floor; covered areas below and around the install points and cleaned and vacuumed when they were done. To top it off, they were in an out very quickly, which allowed me to keep an appointment! This is a different process...they don't come to your home and give you a song and dance, so there is some degree of trust on the buyers end that you need to be comfortable with. But when all was said and done, we got 5 high quality windows for approximately $900 less than what Their competitor was going to charge for 2. When we replace the next group of windows, we will go back to Zen! read more

Fabulous company to work with. We replaced about 12 of our windows in the house. They were the most affordable from the many "big name" places we sought estimates from and they use the same quality materials. We bought the windows in 2014 and they are still doing wonderful. Definitely one of our best purchases! We have called them out to fix one issue we were having and they came straight out and fixed it, no problem. They definitely stand behind their warranty and I highly recommend them! read more

Zen Windows installed a sliding glass door for us a little over a year ago at one of our rentals. They did a wonderful job, coordinated with the tenant, and made the process really easy for us. I'm writing this review today because what I didn't realize was how exemplary their service would continue to be. I contacted Brandon last week because the frame of the house had shifted a bit and made it so the latch on the lock didn't work properly. He assured me that he could fix it promptly by adjusting the door. He again coordinated with our tenant and had it done in no time. Not only that but the adjustment to the door didn't cost a dime due to their lifetime warranty. Brandon and his team provide professional service, timely response, a good quality installed product, and most of all they have kept their promise to us as customers. We will definitely use them again in the future. read more

We had Brandon with zen windows install new windows in our rental town home in March 2015. The crew was friendly and installed seven windows along with window sills in one day. They were also careful with the outside appearance as anything that needed painted we would have had to hire a contractor to repaint(because of HOA). Needless to say no painting was needed. Also one of the screen frames was damaged by renter and Zen replaced it free. They will be the company I use for our home. Thank you, Rita read more

We ended up going with a different contractor to get the window maker we wanted, but I want to commend Jessica for helping me with prices for a couple options. She was very responsive and friendly, unlike a couple other contractors I dealt with. I would recommend you at least get a price from Zen. read more

My wife and I were in the market for six (6) new basement windows after the Spring flooding here in Denver. Zen owner (brandon) was responsive and professional. The bid and measurement process was very streamlined and efficient. I recognize and appreciate the value and hard work that goes into running a local business like ZEN. However, I would suggest to the ZEN sales & marketing team, customers want to know more about "your windows", examples of them, and a more thoughtful description as to why they should choose ZEN over the larger companies in the industry (e.g., what features are truly important, where they are made, what kind of ratings do they have, product specific customer testimonials, the installation process, etc.) Sales & Marketing strategy aside, the decision to order our windows through ZEN was kind-of-a-no-brainier, mostly because ZEN had the best pricing available and a quick turn-around time. However, when the day came for the install, the windows that were delivered were the wrong shade of brown (HENCE, 3-4 STARS). After discussing our options with the installation team and Brandon, we grudgingly accepted the window coloring mishap and let the team complete the window install (versus having a new set of windows fabricated, shipped, and installed at a later date). The windows turned out great. An above-average value of window at a discounted price and solid workmanship, what more can you ask for?! read more

Zen Windows replaced 4 windows in my old home. I'm not one to leave reviews, but they did such a good job and I love my windows so much that I feel compelled. I wasn't able to be home when they did the work, so I came home to new windows and no trace of the old windows or any work debris. It was wonderful. The entire process was smooth and they did superb work. I highly recommend them. read more

I got a patio door from them about a year ago. The process was smooth as silk, Brandon was very easy to work with and was more than willing to bid me on window replacements as well with zero pressure to buy. Installation was very quick ~60 minutes, they took the old door and the new door works wonderfully. It is much more efficient than the old one (~18/yo Milgard door) and is still operating as if it was brand new. read more

Zen Windows was great to work with. Zen Windows beat 2 other quotes by about $500 and we are pleased with the windows. Brandon provided a very timely quote over the phone and the installation went quickly and smooth as well. read more

Brandon and team were great to work with from initial contact to final payment. Brandon was very very responsive to all my questions. Zen replaced all the windows in our house and we've had nothing but compliments since they were replaced and we noticed a major difference as soon as they were installed. We have referred all our family and friends to them! read more

We replaced all the main floor, double hung windows in our 100 year old home with Zen windows last year and really noticed a huge difference in the warmth of our home this winter. The windows are beautiful and so easy to clean. Getting a quote and working with Brandon was a breeze. The only problem we had was working with the installer. The first one who was scheduled to come out didn't show up so we had to take another day off from work. But once the second installation was scheduled it all went smoothly. Overall, a great product at a good price. I would use them again. read more

Really like my Zen windows & patio slider! We got the Nirvana with solar LowE upgrade; I've seen a reduction in my utility bill. We had a small glitch with the security door fitting with new patio slider but Brandon got it worked out for us. The install crew was great fast & efficient cleaned up everything! I was pleased with the whole process from the start to the end! read more
