There is also parking across the street. First off, the girl checking me in was incredibly kind and friendly. There are cubbies to put your stuff in as soon as you enter the space. They have a little spot to hand out in around the room that looks super cozy with plenty of yoga books to browse. There is coffee and water for purchase on the side. Yelp bestie Bea and I took the Thursday 7:300pm Hot HIIT Pilates fusion class. You are required to bring your own mat or rent one for $2. You can go barefoot or use Pilates socks. The Pilates room with the projector is very cool and relaxing. I have never been to a studio like this. As for the class: Right off the bat, the warms ups had my arms sore! We later moved into stretches and using the weighted balls to do the various exercises. The instructor is great- she kept the energy up and challenged us in a great way! We did everything from core, legs, glutes, biceps, triceps. I enjoyed the full body workout. We received lavender cooling towels in the end which I loved! I will definitely be coming back!

Yoga here has genuinely become something I look forward to. That said, for a membership that is around $200/month, I really wish a few basic amenities were included. There's no shower, water cooler/refill station, or even small touches like a small dry, absorbent sweat towels to use during class, so I always have to make sure I bring enough water from home. With Lifetime right around the corner offering many classes including hot yoga along with amenities like towels, water refill stations, saunas, and showers etc for a comparable monthly cost, it does make me reconsider the value of my membership here. I'm sharing this because I genuinely want to stay! If the studio added even a few of these small amenities-especially a water refill station/ small towel-it would make a huge difference. I could honestly see myself being a member for years. I hope the studio takes this feedback into consideration because otherwise I absolutely love being here.

Everything feels intentional and well put together. It truly stands out from the others. I also love that it is only five minutes from my office, which makes it easy for me to attend consistently. My favorite instructor is Matilda. I follow her to all locations just to take her classes. She teaches in the calmest voice, yet her routines are mentally mapped out with such precision. It is almost a confusing combination because her soft tone keeps you relaxed while her class absolutely challenges you in all the ways Pilates should. You leave feeling worked in the best way possible. She also provides hands on corrections if you let her know you welcome them, which I really appreciate. I have tried the other instructors and they all seem kind, but I personally do not sweat the way I sweat in her classes. Every instructor connects differently depending on personality, and for me, Matilda is the perfect fit. I genuinely wish we could duplicate her. I highly recommend her classes anytime. The only negative experience happened during the first significant snow day of the year when the heat shut off. Many homes and locations were losing heat that day, so it was clearly not intentional. However, the classroom temperature was around 30 to 35 degrees while class continued. We were on reformers wearing jackets, hats, and gloves. Matilda maintained her professionalism while visibly freezing. In my opinion, the studio should have closed that day to protect both instructors and clients from getting sick. Aside from that situation, this remains my favorite location.
