My skin is softer, tighter, cleaner & my sebeceous issue has cleared up for the most part. I don't have to wear makeup. My skin is clear, Clean & fresh. Downtime was minimal. I'm happy I found this spa & will be going back for additional treatments. The practitioners are confident & kind & it's a laid back environment. Update: (late June '23) I've done 3 more treatments with the Skin Med spa team this year; Botox, RF microneedle (3 sessions) & PDO threads. When I tell you that I have been to spas, and med spas all over the world (Europe, Asia, Africa) and United States, and spas in your favorite five star hotels...and when I tell you that everyone who knows me knows that I am beyond super picky, and rarely ever impressed... I was on Yelp the other day searching for places that offered the Oxygeneo facial...This place was the only one that came up...The review I read was bad, the poster was complaining about her card being overcharged, (come to find out that it was only by $5 whole dollars! I thought it was hundreds of dollars the way she was carrying on SMH)...but somewhere in that review she said that she was very pleased with the actual service she received...Once I saw that part, I decided that I was gonna go ahead and book it- because again, I didn't see anyone else offering it and I want to see if it was really better than the Hydra facial (Spoiler alert: It is!) I researched this treatment before I set out to make my appointment, so I was expecting it to be upwards of $300, and was ready to pay that...New Year, new me, who dis?! Skin bout to be on fleek! Lol I was super geeked when I found out that they were running a special for January and the treatment would only be $99!!! Seriously, stop reading this post and go book an appointment right now!! Sometimes when you get a discounted anything the (discounted) value seems to be equally reflected in whatever you got... I'm delayed in…read morewriting a great review, but I guess the wait was beneficial because I feel I've had enough time to really see the full results come through. My spider veins were noticeable on the back of my legs, even with a tan, and at only my mid-30s I felt like my legs looked old. I workout and eat healthy and wanted to show off my hard earned body and yet wearing shorts, skirts or swimsuits left me a little self-conscious. I thought he was going to focus on just the few major problem areas I had behind my thighs, but he did my entire leg (including little veins around my ankles) and I was so happy. I will say, the treatment was uncomfortable, but totally manageable. As in I would utter some curse words and we'd have a good laugh, but then it was all over and there was no lingering pain at all. Some results were immediate and other veins took a few weeks or a few months to fade away...just like Dr. Alkadri told me they would. If some return in future years, as I'm sure new ones will pop up, I would not hesitate to go back and have this done again.

The first session went well, but it left orange pigmentation, which is normal. During the second and third session my eyebrows got burnt and the skin on and around them was damaged to the point that it was bleeding. A day after, the tissue got hardened and was very sore for over two weeks. Before the third session I was very nervous and I felt that Katie was being short with me, stating "if you don't want, I don't have to do it". Since I was there, I trusted her and wanted the orange pigment to be removed, I told her to proceed. The orange pigment didn't fade after those two last sessions. It stayed the same. At first Katie, when I initially talked to her, seemed very knowledgeable and confident that the part of the treated microblading will be gone after 2-3 sessions. It seemed to me that after the second and third sessions she had no idea what she was doing. So, I went to a place where they only specialize in removing tattoos. I had a session done with them last week. My eyebrows didn't burn and my skin didn't get damaged and I can notice that the orange pigment got lighter already. When I told them about my experience with Advanced Heath, they were shocked and said the burning and damaged skin absolutely shouldn't happen. I sent couple emails last week to Advanced Health of Oakbrook with a request of a refund for the three laser tattoo removal sessions but I haven't got reply from them.

After the first treatment, I couldn't believe the results -- every spot on my skin that was raised was flat, and my breakouts were reduced by 50% within 3 treatments (I had the first 3 close together because I was getting ready for a big event). Now it's over a year later, and I see Steven for i-derm (aka galvanic) facials every other week because of the amazing results I've gotten.
