I was asked to provide my ethnicity and a copy of my driver's license before they would see me. None of this was discussed when I booked the appointment. Had I known in advance that this information would be required, I could have made an informed decision before making the drive. When I questioned why my race was necessary for what was supposed to be a simple facial -- not surgery -- I was told they "needed to know my race to determine my skin type." That explanation did not sit well with me. Skin type can be evaluated professionally without reducing it to race. Because I was uncomfortable with the additional undisclosed requirements, I chose to walk out. Transparency matters. If certain documents or demographic information are mandatory, that should be clearly communicated before taking a deposit and having clients travel significant distances. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed and frustrated.

I felt as though they went way above and beyond to assist me through this process. They reached out to my doctors office and corrordinated with the staff there to assist me. When I was reaching out to other centers some of them made the comment "we don't do stand alone iron infusions, there's just not enough money in it for us..." At Premiere I never felt like it was about the $$ or a profit, I felt valued and that their biggest concern was my health, getting the treatment I needed and addressing my insurance and financial concerns. I specifically mentioned before the injections that I was super concerned about eyelid droop and would honestly rather have a few wrinkles than deal with that. Well, sure enough, after just a few days, my eyelids started feeling incredibly heavy, and there was just no way of lifting them up (since the muscles are paralyzed). One eye ended up being worse than the other, which just made me look so lopsided and weird. Worse than that, I just felt like I looked like an idiot. I should also mention that I had 2 bruises near my eyes where I got the injections. This has never happened to me before with Dysport, etc. So, at my 2-week follow-up appointment, I expressed how unhappy I was. She told me it's a 'give and take,' like you have to give up one thing for another. She injected me with some more, but honestly, nothing changed. I still have these droopy, hooded eyes, and it's been a month. And I paid $450 for this. I'm definitely going back to the good people at Metamorphosis in DG.
