Eva showed me where to drop my towel, how to turn on the red light therapy, change my color light and temperature, and select what streaming service I wanted to watch during my session. All rooms are private and come with two towels, a tv remote, and eucalyptus towel for after. They recommend watching a short, branded explanation video before going to the home screen to select from watching Netflix, Hulu or Youtube. The sauna is set to 140 degrees for 40 minutes but one can alter to your preference. Overall, I felt like it was a good experience but didn't feel extremely different after and was a bit of a premium within the wellness market. Staff didn't push sales hard which I appreciated. The spa suites are located on the eighth floor. The facial was pretty standard, slightly mediocre. There were awkward technical issues with the steamer, which took her about five minutes to fix. She did apologize for the issues and ended up getting it working. At the end she had to collect her belongings which is also a little awkward. It would've been great if she could've got the bath started so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it to fill up. You have 25 minutes to relax in the room and take a bath or a shower or use the sauna. This would be an excellent experience or well worth it if they allowed more time. The bath took 10 minutes to fill up/figure out and I only had 15 minutes left. 15 minutes is not enough for a bath and to get ready. I would've really enjoyed the amenities if I was allowed more time. I would say 45 minutes would be ideal. I think they should price higher if needed and give people this time. Without time to enjoy the amenities the spa is really just average. I like the brand of soap that they had available and that it is in a private room. Tonight was the last straw. 1. On the way in, a young woman walking very fast while staring at her cellphone nearly collided with me. She was on her way to Zumba which had not yet started. I said we usually say, "Excuse me." She just stared. 2. I did a partial workout because the equipment was too busy, then left by way of the main walkway, again. This time, a weight machine in use clipped my elbow as I walked. I should have watched where I was going, but it stuck out into the aisle. At least that man and I apologized to each other. By then, I had had it. 3. I am paying to be treated poorly by other gym users and the employees, and this is not right. I went to the front desk to tell them this is enough. I asked about stopping my membership. It will be in 2 months. I told the 3 people behind the desk what had happened and why I was quitting. They said it was a busy time. I said it is always like that now. I said LAF buys out other gyms, closes them, then overcrowds the remaining gyms. The young woman at the computer was very anxious to remove me from the roles.
