He ordered a CT scan and a full blood panel (turns out I had a deviated septum and low antibody levels for several strains of pneumococcal bacteria, which no doctor had ever told me, or even tested for). I want to warn others not to waste their time and money here if they are looking for a laser tattoo/microblading removal. I had three sessions done to remove part of my microblading with a laser. The first session went well, but it left orange pigmentation, which is normal. During the second and third session my eyebrows got burnt and the skin on and around them was damaged to the point that it was bleeding. A day after, the tissue got hardened and was very sore for over two weeks. Before the third session I was very nervous and I felt that Katie was being short with me, stating "if you don't want, I don't have to do it". Since I was there, I trusted her and wanted the orange pigment to be removed, I told her to proceed. The orange pigment didn't fade after those two last sessions. It stayed the same. At first Katie, when I initially talked to her, seemed very knowledgeable and confident that the part of the treated microblading will be gone after 2-3 sessions. It seemed to me that after the second and third sessions she had no idea what she was doing. So, I went to a place where they only specialize in removing tattoos. I had a session done with them last week. My eyebrows didn't burn and my skin didn't get damaged and I can notice that the orange pigment got lighter already. When I told them about my experience with Advanced Heath, they were shocked and said the burning and damaged skin absolutely shouldn't happen. Out of network means I would be paying more and certain injections would not be covered. I was considering the PRP injections on one knee and the Stemforce on the surgical knee. I had ACL revision in my knee in 2002. Trying to avoid surgery. It would be $6500 for both knees since insurance companies don't cover it, even if I was in network. My original evaluation went well and I was looking forward with moving forward. Back to the drawing board. They really need to get the insurance squared away before making appointments. Edit: As far as transparency goes, another clinic verify insurance from the start. I had the consultation on a Thursday and when I returned on Monday for PT I was not informed that I was not in network until I questioned the higher copay. I should have been contacted by them once they knew I was not in network. One of the doctors commented about covered injections I would be paying out of pocket. I'm reaching out to another similar company and they will check on coverage from the start.
