The Service: Cersei was our host and he was nothing short of amazing, He was attentive had questions for our questions to make sure we got the most out of our dinner. The appetizers were the empanadas, we got the filet of beef Empanadas and they were delicious, I love making empanadas at home but I usually bake mine, most places fry them... Mariposa bakes theirs too and I was pretty stoked about it. We also got their yuca fries, and I have never had them the way Mariposa makes them they were perfectly shaped, crispy and delicious. On top of that all the sauces that came with these appetizers were delicious. Out main courses were also on point, I got the Ribeye, my wife the Filet Mignon and my Suegra got the the pork chop and the sides we chose was the squash, mushrooms and elote corn. My Ribeye was perfect mid rare with a wonderful wood fire char on it, each bite was butter and mixed with the mushrooms or corn delicious, my wife took her time on her Filet, you can tell she was enjoying every bite. My suegra finished her pork... she usually does not finish her food... this time she cleaned her plate and then some. I can also say their cocktails both virgin and alcoholic were just perfect with our meal. We ended with some desserts, I got the tres leches and my wife got the flan. They did not disappoint and I took my time with the tres leches. My wife usually only eats my tres leches and she liked this one. When we arrived, parking was vast and the views were amazing! There were lots of picture opportunities outside of the restaurant and we took full advantage of another party's waiter for our pictures. When we got seated we were seated outside next to their huge fire pit which had a lovely ambiance. It did get a little chilly but it was still so perfect outside. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and explained the drinks and menu. She was so sweet. We ordered these cocktails to start off our night: *Smokey Pear *1920 *Housemade Sangria Then for appetizers and entrees we ordered this: *Handmade empanadas (filet of beef) *Mejillones de chorizo *Yuca fries *Vaquero Our steaks were cooked to perfection!
