I haven't been to Zaxby's in a while, my son and I both thought of it so I ran into town to get some to go. We decided on the exact pack 20 piece with fries and bread and what a bargain! ton of food very hot, I went inside and ordered it and what a nice staff, friendly atmosphere clean, I sat down to wait for my food and they called me. I literally waited maybe two minutes.!!! Maybe people get fed up waiting in a line cause that seems to be all they catered to is to go orders drive-through and DoorDash, but I was extremely happy!!!! great chicken, I made an oversize sandwich for me and lots of fries. We love zaxbys and make it a regular choice on wednesdays. The loaded fries are freaking delicooussss. I get the big Zak snack with ranch, bbq and sweet and spicy. Always my go to. Sometimes when I'm feeling wild I'll get the Asian Zensation salad with fried tenders bc I'm never as happy when my food if I get grilled chicken. The funnel cake was a no for us. The cashier that we encountered on Sunday morning was adorable and personable. The manager walking around giving out Easter eggs was also engaging with guests and seemed to be throughly enjoying his job. He directed his staff well and the place runs smoothly. Decided to use DoorDash tonight which is fine and dandy. No issues there. But Zaxby's?!?! What in God's name is this locations problem? Got most of the order right, but after spending more than $50, I would expect to at least get the sauces I ordered and my chicken tenders not to look tiny little, over cooked baby turds! Also, the order was put in at 8:00pm and not ready until 9:00pm! What kind of bullshit is that? Do yourself a favor and use any Zaxby's location except for this one. read more

I was prepared to leave a pretty poor review because of my recent experience. I went to the drive thru, and made my order, paid for my order. Was asked to park and wait. No time frame given or anything. So I did, and it was approximately 15 minutes before my food was brought to me. I wasn't pleased about this, BUT, the sweet gal who brought it out gave me some freebies, and my order was correct, hot, and well made, so that's good. Can't report on the inside as I've never been in, but it would certainly behoove the owners to address the giant pothole in front of the ordering sign. There's room for improvement here certainly, but it's not as bad as some of the other fast food establishments surrounding it, which says a lot for downtown Winder apparently. read more

Good food, but you'd better not use the drive thru.  My order is incomplete/incorrect on a regular basis, such as missing or wrong items.  I don't like to complain, but you don't know what you don't know.  Not asking for miracles, just want what I paid for without having to keep complaining.  I'm starting to feel like a broken record.  I requested a call back from Zaxby's for my last incorrect order, but haven't heard back from them.  Maybe they are overwhelmed with call backs?  I can only surmise that Zaxby's doesn't need, or value it's customers.  Fortunately, there are plenty of other choices in Winder to get lunch. read more

I've come here a few times before and really was impressed with their food and service. As a northerner I'm all for a fast food wing place.... However, today I actually came inside. I never thought I'd say I prefer a company's drive thru service over indoor service. Customer service was still fairly the same but they didn't go the extra mile with sauces, condiments, identifying the various orders, or including necessities like napkins when bagging. I ordered through door dash and half my meal was forgotten. When I called zaxby's and spoke w the manager Jeremy who was SUPER awesome. He owned up that it was their mistake on their end and made the entire order right! I've never encountered a more awesome manager who would go this far for a customer!! Generally clean, and the staff is usually friendly. Food is on par for the chain. The drive-thru is VERY tight to navigate.

Always slow. Really slow. I have eaten at a dozen or more Zaxby's and they do take longer than most fast food restaurants but this Zaxby's can be very slow. Also as Matt mentioned the drive-thru is tight when you turn left. read more

There are chicken noises in the kitchen when they ran out of fresh chicken. They called up farmer brown and asked him to bring some chicken.

Bought the house zalad, fried and asked for zax sauce as my dressing including 4 extra zax sauce with a side of crinkle fries, add extra seasoning. When I checked my food at my house, I found out that I didn't even get "ONE" zax sauce! so I didn't even eat my zalad. This zaxby's has extremely poor trained cooks and the food is sometimes really old. I enjoy zaxby's as a restaurant but I wouldn't recommend going to the winder one. read more

I'm a big fan on Zaxby's, but on my last two visits to this location (on the way to Athens from Atlanta) we've been given cold fries to go (cold, not luke warm) and it's ruined our experience. When I say cold, I'm talking literally, as if they'd be sitting out to far too long. This Zaxby's is usually good. However they do not tend their Coke machine very well. Most items were out. I came for cherry coke but it was black meaning no product! This is the reason I come here. The zalad was great for fast food. read more

Zaxby's always look very nice inside. There is heavy decor all over the walls. Their chicken is really great, and it isn't dripping grease as much as the other chicken restaurants in Winder. The fries have their own tasty seasoning, the texas toast is great, and the salads are wonderful. (You can also ask them to remove the fried onions, cheese, etc to cut calories) Would recommend. read more
