It has been years since I was at this Zaxby's but I was craving some buffalo sauce and this place does it right. We went inside so we could look at the menu and take our time to order.... this was our first mistake. The restaurant was so dirty and grimy I honestly can't believe that we didn't walk right back out. The flooring was worn, the walls looked dirty, it just looked like it was not well maintained overall. The guy at the counter was ok.... i mean he wasn't rude but he looked at us like we were from another planet when we took a few minutes and asked a question about one of the combos. I guess most people that order here know exactly what they want before they walk in? We were the only people there... Anyway we ordered and got our cups and went to the soda fountain. It was filthy. There was a bulls-eye of grime on the coca-cola machine where you push to dispense the soda, and they were out of almost everything except regular coke and sprite. The food came out and it was pretty good, but the whole time I ate I was just thinking about how dirty the dining room was and how the kitchen must look.... yikes! Even though I love the menu, I just can't go back to this location. Maybe if they close down and completely re-vamp the inside and clean the place up, but until then I'll go to one of several other places I can get pretty much the same thing. Very disappointed in this location. It has horrible customer service and inconsistent food quality. Pulled up there at 8:40pm (closes @ 9:00pm) to order drive through. Sat there for five minutes. No one. Pulled up to the payment window.....no one in sight. Closed early. If you are open, then be OPEN! Still painfully slow on another visit today. 20 mins for my order and it was incomplete when I got home. My mistake for not checking their work. Bathrooms and dining area were filthy. Me and my friend love this spot we go once a week at least we ride our bikes 30 min to eat here but we went today and they completely denied us service for no reason at all they where mean to us from the the start and threatened to call the police if we did not instantly leave will not go back ever would not recommend. read more

In general Zaxby's is a good chicken fast food restaurant. The service was good. I called in my order a And it was package and ready to go when I got there. This was my first time going to Zaxby's and the order was terrible. The chicken salad sandwich bread was hard. The fries were cold and undone. We called the restaurant back to get a commendation. The guy Ryan was great, offered me a free replacement meal, a refund and a comp card. We get to the location and find out we called the wrong location where Ryan works at. So this guy David is the manager at the correct location he was very disrespectful. Didn't wanna Accommodate me. He got rude and said that's unreasonable I'm not giving you a comp card and fee meal. Good bye do what you gotta do. What kind of manager at restaurant talks to their customers disrespectful with bad food. I will never step foot into a Zaxby's again in North Carolina. I just ordered an Zaxby's wings and thing and they got my whole order completely wrong, they gave me 2 prices of chicken and 4 tenders. Their is 14 year olds working behind the counter. Do not support Zaxby's on Gordon Rd. or any Zaxby's owned by Paul Street, the new owner at this location. Our Little League Baseball Team (Leland Mets) of 7, 8 & 9 year old boys has held fundraisers here the past few years, always very successful & never had a problem until now. We set these up under the old owner, Jeff. I will not get into specifics but I will just say that after countless ignored calls, unreturned messages and being lied to numerous times we finally received our check for $210...needless to say we were told we would receive 15% of their sales for each fundraiser. We had two fundraisers, a total of 6 hours. Our young boys were treated unfairly by having family and friends come out to support our team, only to be given such a hassle from this man who clearly has no idea how to treat people. T read more

Of all the Zaxby's this one is by far the worst one. Making up their own hours, customer service is beyond a joke. Management seems to not care very much about the way their employees handle business. The food is either on point or sucks depending on the day. The bathrooms or horrible and disgusting. Worst customer service experience. I was waiting in a long line 6/4 at 2pm, and got distracted by my dog and missed my turn to order. When I got to the pick up window I explained what had happened. The employee started to say NO she couldn't take my order, but asked her Manager. I could hear the Managers Rude NO. My one simple sandwich wouldn't have backed up their line any worse. Bailey was a complete a-hole. I asked for light ice in my strawberry lemonade and kid sized hi-c after she gave me two sips of drink because of all the ice.
