1 string bean included in my order of chicken & string bean

The portions are pathetic. My beef & broccoli came with less than 1 square inch of beef. My wife's chicken & string beans came with 1 string bean. Also we were missing our crab rangoon. Did not receive hot mustard. $22 for two incomplete plates made without care. Very bad service

Kung pao chicken Beef with broccoli. Super greens
    Aimee N.

I am as exhausted lastnight and didn't feel like cooking dinner or spending a lot on ordering so I drove through Panda. I ordered the two combo plate. Beef with broccoli and chicken with green beans. They said the latter was going to be awhile so I switched to Kung Pao. I ordered the super greens with it. The cashier guy was really professional and nice. I also ordered the veggie spring rolls. Qi pulled over in the parking lot and had a spring roll. It was absolutely flavorless. When I got home I dug into the meal and it was honestly terrible. There was not a lot of meat and the valor tasted like a bad Chinese take out. I remember this place at one time being good and maybe I'm spoiled by eating really great quality Asian food but this was bad. The greens were even gross.

Service is quick you were able to see and pick what you wanted from from the window server was nice price was reasonable they let you taste the food to see if it's something that you like before you buy it. will be back.

One of my favorite places is Panda Express. While visiting my friend we stopped by to pick up lunch. I always get the the teriyaki chicken. Today I added the new Crispy Almond Chicken. I did the Panda Exp review and suggested that they add this as a regular item. It was flavorful and had a good crunch! Alina the manager waited on me and was cheerful and made me feel welcomed. I will stop by this PE when visiting Wilmington. 9/28/21

Ordered Beijing chicken and got just noodles smh

I happen to love Panda Express, however I'm not sure what happened here. The last two times I've came to this location my orders have been wrong. I should know not to drive off until I inspect my bag to see if it's correct. Shame on me for not doing so which has lead to this review. Orders should be correct especially when you can't go in for some reason customers have no choice (Drive thru only) I asked for Beijing Chicken with noodles and all I got was noodles! Seriously. Gas is to high for me to be driving back to say hey this is incorrect. Needless to say I've learned a lesson. Do not drive off until you open every single item you ordered and let the ones behind you know hey do the same before you drive off. The noodles was dry and I'm thinking how is that even possible? So disappointed Aside that the drive thru window employee was bubbly and friendly another star for that otherwise 3..

Fried Rice, orange chicken, teriyaki grilled chicken with spring roll

The food was fresh and good however the grilled teriyaki chicken was chicken thighs that they chop before serving. The chicken had more fat and bone pieces than meat.

I have mixed feelings, the food is usually fresh and taste good with the occasional over done veggies. my problem has always been portion control here, some times I order and I feel like the portions were good while other times I feel totally ripped off. for over $10 a plate portions should be regulated and consistent.

This is the "Subway" of Chinese food. You stand in line, tell the employee which items you'd like, they put it in a styrofoam to go container or plate. They put ours in a to go container, though we were eating there. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed, and service was a bit rushed. The guy kept forgetting what we asked for. I ordered walnut honey shrimp, firecracker shrimp, chicken egg roll with sweet sour sauce, 1/2 veggies and 1/2 noodle. The honey shrimp were my favorite! Decent sized shrimp, light batter, and a semi-sweet sauce. I will order this every time! The firecracker shrimp was good too but if I had to choose one, I'd go for the walnut honey shrimp. I really liked the vegetables but wasn't a huge fan of the noodles. They were a tad bit chewy and not very flavorful. I dipped it in the firecracker shrimp sauce. I did not like the egg roll or sweet sour sauce. The egg roll had a weird texture and I'm pretty sure there were noodles inside it. The sauce was so sugary and crazy sweet. I would not order the egg roll, sauce or noodles again. Before we wiped the table down to sit (all the tables needed some cleaning), we stopped at the station that has plastic silverware, napkins and silverware. There were no forks and it was pretty messy. Went up to the counter and it took a few minutes to get someone at the counter to bring out forks. I ordered a soda and ended up drinking water. No one told me the Diet Coke was not working on the soda machine. Two were out of service and all the other options contained auger. So that was a bummer and waste of money. Would have taken way to long to get a refund. I'll eat there again now that I know what I like there. It's a fast food place so the experience was pretty much what a expected.

This place is ghetto!! First the inside to walk in was closed before 9pm so had to go to drive through My order was wrong. I ordered 1/2 rice and 1/2 chow mein and two different chicken orders. And this is what I got all rice and all orange chicken. When drive through was confronted about the problem. I was given a very ghetto attitude the girl in the drive through wouldn't give her name. I was given a small different chicken to replace and chow mein. When my husband was telling the girl the problem. She told him to F off and to f his mother. I was in shock. That's girl didn't know but my husband is going through the death of his mother now and she was very unprofessionally. I don't know who was the manager on duty last night but some people there need to have a job change !! And the girl was laughing when we had to drive back around to talk to them about the missed up order. Very disappointing and unprofessional place and was given a very limited menu when we went to order the first time

I ordered a combination platter of shrimp lo mein, and an egg roll. My husband got an order of combination foo young and we also got a free order of sesame chicken. The shrimp lo mein was really good and had lots of shrimp in it and had a good portion of noodles. For those unfamiliar with the concept, you fill a bowl with raw ingredients (meat/seafood), vegetables, noodles, tofu, and sauces/oils/seasonings), which are then cooked on a giant grill by the chef. Bdobo Mongolian Grill provides All-You-Can-Eat BBQ for $11.99 (lunch until 2:30 pm). Higher prices after 2:30 and for dinner. The meal includes a bowl of either hot and sour soup or egg drop soup, a bowl of either white or fried rice, and a small piece of fried bread. Food (4/5). There was a good variety of ingredients on the buffet, and a big variety of sauces. I was a little disappointed with my first bites as the six scoops of sauces/oils that I had selected weren't enough to make it sufficiently flavorful. However, adding some soy sauce from the table corrected that! I was also a bit disappointed that some of my favorite Mongolian BBQ ingredients weren't on the buffet -- notably mung bean sprouts, snow peas, baby corns, and scallions. Also, the waitress brought out soups to our table while we were still in line waiting for our main food, so the soups were lukewarm at best when we were ready to eat them. Value: 5/5. Service: 5!5. Our waitress checked on us regularly, and was very friendly. When she saw that our plates were empty, she made a special point of reminding us that it's all-you-can-eat so "you should eat more." (We didn't!) Ambiance. (3/5). This is a two room restaurant, with the front room bring brighter than the back one where the buffet and grill are. A black ceiling makes it feel even darker. That said, the restaurant appears to be popular with locals as most of the tables were full even though it was getting late for the lunch crowd. Parking was free and plentiful. We would eat here again. March. 2025.

My wife ordered the Vietnamese Lemongrass Chili Chicken, but unfortunately it was extremely salty, even by my standards, and I tend to enjoy saltier foods. We also ordered two cocktails that came out much sweeter than expected. It left us wondering whether some additional tasting and quality control in both the kitchen and bar could help improve consistency. That said, our server, John, was excellent throughout the evening. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience. When we mentioned the issue with my wife's meal, managers Jack and David both checked on us personally and worked hard to make things right. Their involvement and concern did not go unnoticed and reflected a commitment to customer service. We've visited Cafe Chinois over the years and have noticed changes since the passing of the previous owner and the family's transition into running the restaurant. The menu has evolved, and the overall atmosphere feels a little different than it once did. During our visit, there was some trash on the floor that remained for a while, suggesting that attention to detail may not be quite where it used to be. Even so, the excellent service from John, Jack, and David, along with the quality of my entrée, showed that the restaurant still has a strong foundation. With a little more consistency in the kitchen and bar, Cafe Chinois can continue to be one of Wilmington's favorite dining spots.
