Ordered in app and picked up at drive thru. Gave my name at speaker. I get to the window and I'm asked for my name 3 more times. Drive away with my order and took a drink of the strawberry fanta and it tasted like sewer water. I get home and there's no fork in the bag to eat slaw. Zaxbys caught our eye from the road and we know the brand so we decided to make it a Zaxbys kind of lunch. Upon entering, we were greeted and were able to place our order immediately. Not even 5 minutes after ordering and filling up our drinks of choice, our tray was ready. This had to have been the fastest service I've experienced at a GA Zaxbys in over a decade. In addition to the fast order retrieval,  our orders were accurate and to the temperature desired (hot). This location would benefit from a few more cleaner tables. Had to knock a few crumbs off in order to have an enjoyable lunch. This was minimal though, overall great experience. read more

Never really had a problem with their food. It's always the special request they have a issue with! No matter how many times I ask for extra sauce, I never get it! First I ask at the window, so they can charge me for it! Next at the window, and it's always "it's in your bag." Buts it's only one sauce. Totally disappointed. Went to get the Mr. Beast Box because my kids wanted to try the chocolate. Got the order home and guess what, NO chocolate bar. so I called and the girl who answered told me it was a corporate policy that they could not replace the chocolate bar. I asked if I could have the one they didn't put in the box to begin with. She said no that they had to do the inventory of the bars. I told her she would have an extra one at the end of the night. But I'm sure the kids working there would just eat the chocolate. The food itself was good. But I could have just bought the chocolate at Walmart and saved over $20. Very disappointed with local Zaxby's. After 8:15pm we finished shopping at Kroger then decided on Zaxby's for quick bite late dinner. We ordered the family pak for two $14.99 (eight fingers with my half buffalo), bread basket, spicy mushrooms, and three pieces of extra chicken fingers for the dog...Zaxby's were out of mushroom appetizer but gave us three cookies - I rather have the cheddar bites though, the chicken fingers were all plain so my half was not buffaloed at all - all were hard as rocks and tiny pieces not really fingers at all. However the sweet lady in blue was very nice but said new people working. So sad to say Zaxby's please just shut down and let Chik Fil A take over. read more

This place is always hopping, at least when we go there, which is typically after a workout. I know everyone loves their Chick-fil-A, but I am actually a Zaxby's fan. And I've persuaded my boyfriend on it, which is even better. He is pretty fastidious about what he eats most of the time, and tries to avoid the bun. He's got me not eating buns now, too for the most part, and trying to up my protein intake. So this place is great for that, because their chicken breasts are so good. I'm not sure how they flavor them, but they come out hot, grilled, and they will cut them up for you if you want. Also, two breasts is only $5.35, and if you get sauce it's an extra 25 cents. I love their Zaxby's sauce, and their Texas toast as well, but I don't get that often. Also, if you like wings, I have to say for fast food, their wings are pretty darn good. For his graduation I almost got their wings for the party, because they are that good. I am not in love with their fries however, but that's actually a good thing so I stay away from them. For a quick protein fix, this is definitely a great choice. Cost friendly, and good. I see other people have had mess ups at the drive thru, and I honestly can say they did mess up our order the last time too so I'm just going to make a habit of checking before we leave next time, but I will still come here for the food! read more

This location needs new management. I ordered the original chicken sandwich today and I'm pretty sure I have food poisoning now. It smelled odd and didn't taste good where I threw it away after 2 bites of noticing. I'm pretty sure the chicken was either bad or undercooked. On top of this, the staff is extremely rude. I don't understand it. If you don't like your job, then quit but don't take it out on the innocent people that did nothing to you and that pay your wages. People seem to forget that without customers, there's no job! Get it together Zaxby's. Hire drug free people that want to work and keep a job. This is probably the nastiest stuff I've ever had. My wife and i each had the 6 piece chicken finger meal, takeout. It was over cooked to the point it was void of any moisture, even the moisture In sauce couldn't bring it back to life. I picked at it for a while and after consuming maybe equivalent to 1 piece, I gave up. I was relieved when I threw out the rest. Very poor customer service. Disappointing!!!!! Drive through very slow. When card reader broke was told by young lady at drive through after waiting in long line. "Our card reader is not working do you have cash?" I did not so I was told "then we can't serve you". Due to the Covid pandemic I ordered on the app to pickup curbside as I had successfully done last week in Suwanee. The Sugar Hill location was a disappointment when it comes to service. After waiting in the drive thru as my app order directions had instructed, the 4 employees gathered at the drive thru window wanted me to come inside and also told me that my order wasn't ready yet although I had ordered 20 min earlier for a 5:15 pickup and it was 5:15. They reluctantly allowed me to pull up further in the drive thru and they said they would bring it to my car. At 5:22, a worker brought out my food and sharply said you didn't give us your name at the window. She handed me my food and left. I will not return to this location and will make the longer drive to Suwanee for better curbside service next time. read more

This Zaxbys is incredible. The management team is incredible and the employees are kind and have great manners. I ordered a Zalad with specific directions and the cooks got my order 100% the way I like it which is incredible due to the fact most Zaxbys get my order incorrect consistently. My server at the window, Zach, was very sweet and greeted me with kind and handed my food politely. 10/10 would recommend this Zaxbys for regular use. read more

I'm not normally one to write reviews and complain but for the second time my fries have had not a single bit of seasoning on them. Since I got my orders through the drive thru, I didn't realize until I got home. Even so, it just shouldn't be served incorrectly. That's really disappointing when the seasoning is what makes Zaxbys' fries so unique and delicious. I don't recommend this Zaxbys. read more

I have gone to this Zaxby's 3 different times and all 3 times they have messed my drink up in the drive through making me come back to get a new one (which they messed up again!) and they forget my extra zaxby's all 3 times as well! I go to Zaxby's a lot - their salads are better than the typical fast-food salad, and they have abundant chicken and toppings. This is a new location - the decor is nice, and has a very local flavor for Lake Lanier and Gwinnett County. So why only 2 stars? I was thinking about 1 star. I went to the drive-thru, and was #4 in line - and it took nearly 15-minutes to get my order at the window. The bigger issue was that was I got my food, I could see that no one was hustling - they were just standing around talking to each other - and by now the cars were wrapped around the building. The final straw was that there was no "sorry about your wait" or "thanks for waiting." Nothing. In fact, the manager came to the window, and I thought for sure she was going to mention the long wait - nope - just smiled and said have a good night. Jeez. And look at the other reviews - there are two 1-star reviews, and not a peep from the owners with a response - they obviously don't care. That's all you need to know about this location.
