After a fun day hitting a car museum and shopping at Ollie's, I was ready to get some dinner and head back to the hotel. One place that I wanted to visit was Zaxby's. I had never been there before. It has salads and wings. Both make me happy. I did a search and drove to this location. I hit the drive-thru. I got a competent woman on the other end. I ordered the following items: - Traditional wings (10) with barbeque sauce - Cobb salad with grilled chicken and light vinaigrette I pulled up to the window and paid with a credit card. All was good. Moments later, I got my food in a plastic bag. I thanked the woman and drove back to my hotel room to eat. I started with the wings. I should have ordered the wings and that's it. Ten of them was more than enough for dinner. The barbeque sauce was yummy and each wing was thoroughly coated with it. The wings were delicious. I got more flats than drums. I should have got six wings with the salad. The wings come with ranch. Instead, I ate a bit of my cobb salad and saved the rest for the following day. The cobb salad with grilled chicken was huge. It came with buttered toast. The salad was fresh with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, and an hard-boiled egg. The grilled chicken was warm and juicy. I loved this salad. I simply bought way too much food. I got a lot of vinaigrette. I saved a packet for future salad purchases and it all worked out. It's yummy. I'm a fan of Zaxby's. Ok. My first time at a Zaxby's. It was not busy inside, but the drive-through and online orders were slamming. I was standing in line waiting for my order to be taken, and an employee finally acknowledged me and let me know she'd be with me soon. Someone came and took my order and I paid. As I said, it wasn't busy inside, so I got a good look around. 3 employees were on a break, 2 outside smoking, and one inside sitting in a booth on her phone. As for the interior, it was nice. Plenty of booths. Saw one family enjoying their food. I finally get my food, and to my surprise, it was in a go container and bag. I had planned on eating there, so I expected a tray with my food on it. I guess it was a hint to take it with me. Again,as I said, it was my first time in a Zaxby's. As I was leaving, I looked at the families table, and they were also served in to go containers. So my guess is that's how you get your food. I haven't eaten it yet, but it looks good. I may or may not be back. Update: I ate the salad but wasn't completely satisfied with it. The lettuce was wilted, my tomatoes were sore, and I got one piece of fried onion. I have held of from giving this location a review for a long time, several years and dozens of visits, and have given them numerous chances to redeem themselves. I will no longer return to this location in person or with Uber. The crew here treats people as if they are less than human. The order is most likely incorrect. The staff will stare you down if you dare try to say they were incorrect. They are incompetent and need to learn a lesson in civility. This was in reference to a visit in February. This is by far the worst Zaxby's I have ever been to. The bathroom is disgusting. The dispenser is broken and there was no toilet paper. Not to mention it smelled like someone had an assplosion. The floors are greasy. While trying to hover over the toilet, the chicken grease on the floor made it difficult to stand whiteout sliding. The employees are loud and unprofessional. There is trash in the parking lot. Someone couldn't even get out of their car without kicking trash under my Jeep so they get out. When they finally came in, the girls from the register knew them and they were all yelling and fist pumping each other. There was no music playing. No one else was eating inside. I think I know why now. It is clear that no one cares about this eating establishment. And apparently there is a tomato and lettuce shortage at this one. When all I order is a salad for 8$, then I want at least a half a head of lettuce! I better be seeing some goods!!!! read more

This was my second time trying zaxbys. Robert J, from the minute we came in, welcomed us with a warm, friendly, and genuine smile. He made conversation with us and asked us where we were from. The sweetest guy ever. After our food was ready, he came by the table to talk to us and he really made our night. What a nice guy. We need more people like him in the world. If I could leave no stars I would've. I used to like this location but the past few times have been horrible, I will probably NEVER go back to this one. One of the times they didn't have any wings, only tenders, I was okay with that until I asked for dipping sauce and they told me they didn't have ANY, not even ketchup? Really? They took my order then I asked for some napkins because I'm eating wings and we all know how messy wings get, the girl at the counter snapped on me right away because she had just got into it with a customer before me, then they accused the customer of cursing another employee out which wasn't the case I was standing right there when the girl asked to speak with a manager and the guy who came out tried to tell the CUSTOMER she was wrong, and don't get me wrong I've worked in food and I know sometimes the customer is wrong but number 1: you never tell the customer that. Number 2: he wasn't there so who was he to tell her what she said? Back to the napkins, she snapped at me and said they didn't have any..... I asked again, you don't have ANY napkins? Anywhere? When I called back the phone number was to the store and an employee answered. After a rude conversation with the employee, who couldn't understand why I would be calling if I wasn't looking for a job there, I was informed that the GM was gone for the day and I should try again tomorrow. Tonight was our 4th and last visit to this Zaxby's on Murfreesboro Rd. We have gone for lunch and dinner and ordered the salads each time. EVERY time we walked in the person (persons) at the counter acted like we weren't there (different female each time). Tonight, same reaction, she kept chewing as I was trying to place my order. I told her 3 times what I wanted and she couldn't get it right. I finally asked her what she had in her mouth and she showed me a tootsie pop wrapper. She had never heard of Thousand Island dressing and the manager came up and hit the button on the register. She could not understand English and kept having me repeat everything I said. Then they got the number wrong when our order came up and we were the only ones there. I go once a week go get a large boneless wings and things which is supposed to be 10 pieces of chicken , 2 orders of bread and a large portion of fries. Every time I get my food after waiting way too long for it, I always get a SMALL COMBO which is 5 pieces of chicken and one piece of bread. I call them out every time and they make it right but I have gone upwards of 10 times now and they get it wrong every time. It makes me think . I wonder how many people they are ripping of that don't even know it. Management needs to be fired. Because I tell him every time the issues I'm having with his restaurant but I can garuntee if I go today I will get half what I paid for.
