Pulled up to the drive-thru box, got no greeting for a minute or so, moved up a little and tried to say hello and got no answer. So I pulled around and parked and went inside. Cashier wouldn't smile to save her life and the staff in general seemed very tense. Meanwhile I have counted 10 drive thru orders go through while I am sitting here writing this review. Some person that seems to be of a higher rank is cleaning the dining area and everything she touches is greeted with immense force and she is being very loud and aggressive. The past few times I have been to this location I have not been satisfied. The last meal I got (Zaxby's Salad) was horrible. For tomatoes I received two end pieces, and for meat I had old chicken that was not fresh at all. Can't say I plan to visit this location any time soon. read more

This is definitely a fast food chain, similar to a Wendy's, Chikfila, or Burger King. My coworker will grab food sometimes here and bring it back to the office, and the smell you can just tell it's greasy fast food. One good thing to come out of this place is their fried pickles!!! It's a fast food joint in a tourist town. You can't expect a lot. Wait was long but the place was packed. We got our food it was good as far as fast food goes. A bit over priced but it's a tourist town. All the employees seemed to be doing the best they could to keep up with the rush. I'm from up north where KFC is as good as chain chicken gets. Maybe that's a good thing, as I'd likely be eating at Zaxby's every day if I didn't. Zaxbys has found a way to disappoint. Used the online order feature selected a pick up time and the online feature states no need to stand in line just walk up to the pick up area. Well have to stand in line to even get near the pick up area, once get I there it appears my order hasn't even been started. Almost 15 mins after my pick up time was my food brought to the counter jammed in a bag with some of the boxes upside down. When I asked for a second bag so I could rebag the order I was given a bag, no apologies for missing the time window, no apologies for the bagging. There was plenty of help several what appeared to be managers in the store, but none appeared to be managing more or less they were working a post. Zaxbys I feel is a bit pricey but the food is usually pretty good. I didn't grow up on zaxby's, but I learned to love it in my college and young adult years. It's always delicious chicken, and there are good values to be had, for sure (see meal dealz on the menu for a complete combo) but as I only really drink water, I usually get the chicken tenders platter. Today I'm super hungry and won't get another chance to eat due to work schedule until much later this evening, so I upgraded it to the large for $2 more, making my meal coast almost $10 ($9.xx). I got a small handful of fries, 5 fingers, and a little side of coleslaw, and the standard slice of Texas toast. Does the regular Oder only come with 3 tenders...? What's the difference... For $10 I expected a more generous serving of fries and either more tenders, or at least larger pieces. Maybe an extra toast. It doesn't even include a drink. Such a disappointment. This location has the dining room closed so you are forced to go through the drive thru regardless off how you want to order. This is not due to local COVID-19 restrictions rather it is a decision by the local management. I thus had to wait in the drive thru line for 10-15 minutes. After finally getting to the ordering speaker box I wanted to order 3 Nibblerz as I had 3 birthday Nibblerz free coupons for the 3 of us in the car. The employee told me that they do not take any coupons. I said that it's a Zaxbys coupon so why wouldn't a certain location not accept it? I then asked to speak to the manager and the person said that they were the manager on duty. I then left without purchasing anything (I was going to purchase more but after that there was no way I was going spend any money here after such terrible customer service. The management of this location needs to be retrained and if there is not enough staff to open the dining room, at least for take out orders, then they should be closed down. read more

I would give four stars for that but this place gets an additional star for being smart enough to hire Samantha, a very nice, friendly girl who made our visit here most enjoyable. Catering here was a big mistake& total JOKE. order was for 50 person doctor office, ordered large Cobb salad trays, attempted and would prefer to order online..but none of the selections would save, so I had to call it in, night before. "We don't like to take orders over the phone"maybe you shouldn't work in the restaurant biz if you can't communicate. After 2 hour drive with 10 mins to spare, there was only a napkin found w/ my order on it. They skimped so badly on the lettuce I had to go to Publix half way through luncheon to buy more salad in a bag. They were totally unapologetic. Been to Zaxbys at other locations and since theyve all been good figured Id stop here for lunch. This time around wasnt the best. Chicken tenders tasted funny for some reason. And the coke was extremely flat. Came back that night to try out the milk shakes and they tasted pretty good but whoever made them did a messsssy job. I just got screwed over at Zaxbys on Oleander drive. I ordered 2 Cobb salads. When I got home, the one on the bottom of the bag was missing the cucumber, tomato, cheese, egg and toast. Really? Screw me over and hide on the bottom of the bag and hope I don't notice? I can see one ingredient maybe missed but all those? Service was very slow. It took at least 5 minutes for someone to even come to the register and another 20 minutes for me to receive my order. There was only about 5 other people in the restaurant when I ordered who had already been served. My salad dressing was borderline frozen and I did not receive my toast and had to return to the cash register to get some. The chicken sandwich was also very greasy. The manager on duty was very kind and quick to help out. It seemed as though almost all of her employees were new or in training. Either way, it took way too long to place my order and get all of it. With my experience there was good and bad. The bad was that the service was absolutely horrible we stood in a line of 2 people for 15+mins and after I finally got my food I when I went up to get a fork that they forgot to give me and the worker completely ignored me for a good 3 minutes. Also 3 of the 4 trash cans were so overflowing the trash was on the floor and the tables even had trash just sitting on them. So glad we got our carryout here. Last night of vacation so we wanted something easy and not pricey. We ordered the sweet n spicy and wimpy boneless wings. Both were very good. Order was ready exactly on time and quick too. Staff was friendly and offered to include plates, silverware and napkins. We come to Myrtle Beach every summer - we will definitely come here again. The best place to go if you want to get your food 30 mins after ordering. On top of that the fries came out cold and the chicken as well. It gets even better. Had to ask the employees to clean the tables and booths for us to sit an eat. Looks like nothing was cleaned at all at the place. To top it off a puddle the size of a lake with no caution sign to be found in the middle of the aisle. Lucky a lawsuit wasn't made. I would really like to find out who the owner of this location is.
