Honest Review I…read moretried Touchdown Wings for the first time tonight and ordered the 10pc Wings Combo with fries and a Pepsi Zero. I got the BBQ Gold wings with ranch. The BBQ Gold sauce was DELICIOUS! However, the chicken itself had absolutely no seasoning, and neither did the fries. I definitely love my food seasoned, so that was a little disappointing--especially because I can cook and I like to taste seasoning as soon as I take my first bite . The fries were hot, and the wings were hot, so that was a plus. I ended up adding some Lawry's seasoning myself, and OMG... that made both the chicken and fries taste 100x better! I did order about 27 minutes before closing, so maybe that played a part, but I'd definitely give them another try because that BBQ Gold sauce was really good. Next time, I just need y'all to season that chicken and those fries! Overall: good sauce, hot food, but definitely needs more seasoning. Update: I ordered again today for the second time. I had the 10-piece combo with BBQ Gold again. No seasoning on the fries, smh, and no seasoning on the meat. This time, some of the meat was so hard that I couldn't even swallow it. Some of it was way too hard and overcooked, smh. I definitely will not be ordering again.

I came in on a Saturday evening and there was a bit of a wait for a table, but we were able to grab a drink nearby and didn't mind the wait, we figured it must be worth it. It sure was! There's a reason they are a crowd favorite, and it has to do with the food, the service, and the reasonable prices. I elected to have the Buffalo chicken quesadilla, and we started with an order of cheese curds. They also look like they have some delicious wings and burgers. If I lived in the Mint Hill area this would be one of my go to's when I wanted a nice meal and a drink or two. Nothing fancy. Just good food for a reasonable price!

I like how the restaurant is split up, one side is for families and the other is a nice bar with lots of TVs. They have covered outdoor seating that's above most restaurants I've experienced with TVs, as well. Our waitress was very friendly, kind, and helpful. She even turned on cartoons for my toddler on one of the large TVs closest to our booth. The house made ranch dressing is really tasty. I ordered extra to take for my leftovers. If you're not in the mood for a large pizza, they have cheese or pepperoni by the slice available. The slices are BIG! I was only able to eat one slice with my side salad [that was fresh]. Even the lettuce looked old and unappetizing. I also ordered the seasoned crinkle fries, but "seasoned" is being generous. I think they may have gotten one sprinkle of seasoning because they tasted like absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, my friend ordered the steak sandwich, and it looked like straight-up dog food. It was so unappetizing that they threw it directly in the trash rather than even attempting to eat it. Overall, the food was disappointing from start to finish. Nothing looked or tasted remotely worth returning for, and based on this experience, I definitely would not go back.
