I said it should have been half and half and her response was "we have to cook what we have. I said don't you think you should have told me that when I ordered. No response. Asked could I come get my money back. Her reply "sure as long as you haven't eaten any wings". She was at the counter when I arrived and just held out her hand for the bag. My youngest son's chicken sandwich wasn't plain, it had Buffalo sauce on it or Zaxby's sauce, my youngest son didn't want to eat it, and my salad along with my husband, had fried onions but we didn't want fried onions it was horrible, if you want food there, check it before you get out the drive thru and check the soda cause if you don't, it could be carbonated water, don't go back to there for some months. read more

I enjoy Zaxby's for the most part. I mean; sure the chicken tenders are dry and the wait is long, but there are lots of other things on the menu. My experience with this particular location has been up and down. More ups than downs though. I prefer to place my orders from the app for the specials and because I want to just pick up my food and go. Sometimes that works out and sometimes it doesn't. This location is right across from the mall, so it stays busy. The employees are very nice though and they are always professional. The service can be slow at times, but refer back to the location. Now I really came here today to talk about this new funnel cake. Listen to me......if you purchase this funnel cake expecting a Sox Flags funnel cake; don't. It is not. At all. It takes a few bites for your taste buds to forgive you for the disrespect and to figure out what you just gave them. The funnel cake is not flaky and soft. It's more like spongy and tough. It didn't rear easily nor did it melt in your mouth. Forget Six Flags; this isn't even a parking lot carnival level funnel cake. The after taste is that of those butter cookies you used to put on your pinky finger at grandma's house. I had a bad experience with this Zaxby's yesterday. I just got off work and wanted to grab some food for myself and my children. I didn't want to get out so I go through the drive- thru... waited in the line for 30mins finally made it to the order board and placed my order. Traditional chicken sandwich meal, wings and things, 2 cobb salads, and a small fry. I pay and wait at the window an additional 10mins! I'm finally handed my food and I asked was everything in the bag the response was yes... of course I still pull over and park to check my food and they did not put the wings and things that I ordered in the bag! So now guess what I have to do... you guess it GET OUT OF MY CAR!!! I go in and explain I was just in the drive thru and didn't receive all of my order. They ask for the receipt I present it then they tell me they're waiting on chicken!! Are you kidding me!!! So now I'm waiting and it's been almost an hour!!! I politely ask for a refund then all of a sudden my meal appears!!! To late!!! I visited the drive-thru around 1:15pm and to my surprise there were only a couple cars ahead of me. The employees in the drive thru were friendly. I received my food quickly and correctly. I ordered a kickin chicken sandwich meal with a lemonade. The fries were seasoned to perfection, fresh, and golden. The sandwich was seasoned and flavorful. The sandwich had the right amount of sauce and was fresh. My drink was good too. Overall, everything was on point! No complaints. read more

Zaxbys let's talk about it, I used the Zaxbys app to simplify the process and to make sure they got my large order correct. Dumb idea they messed up the entire order, literally left an entire meal off. I had 4 meals and there was something wrong with all 4 to add on the fact that there was no carbonated drinks in the building, no marinara sauce, no cup holders, no good service, i have had some bad experiences at this location before but this is the worst. I mean I literally feel like I was robbed on purpose there is no way someone can be this bad at their job. Where is /was management? I've been a Zaxby's fan for several years & of the dozens of locations that I've visited, this one is the only location that requires a photo i.d. when making a debit/credit card purchase. Does that bother me? Somewhat... However, what DOES extremely bother me is that no signs are displaying the "Requirement". Therefore, customers end up standing in a line, waiting to order their food, while having ABSOLUTELY NO idea that once they provide their entire order & pull out a debit card, the cashier is going to ask for an I.D. If your I.D. is in your vehicle, guess what? Your order will be voided and you'll be expected to return to the back of the line, should you choose to return. This rule is primarily ridiculous because it's a rule that is not posted, not written, not spraypainted on the windows...instead, it's simply stated. My suggestions are to place the rule in writing and put it somewhere in between the football memorabilia. It's tons of stuff on the walls, so how about add something that applies to 90% of your customers. I'd also suggest that if you order a regular fry, don't expect more than 12 French fries in your box. read more

In the past, I had LOVED this zaxbys so much. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was hot and fast. But recently it seems to be going downhill. The wait times are ridiculous. Many crew members are unpleasant and there ALWAYS seems to be something wrong with my orders. I think maybe management needs to switch the workers around within the store. Maybe that will help. In January of 2013 I got a new job. The office has a Conyers address but the office is only like 1.5 miles from the Stonecrest Mall area. Many things in this area lack in quality compared to other franchise type locations of various restaurants and such. Example.....the stonecrest mall area is home to the worst firehouse subs location I have ever seen, the worst Taco Bell, one of the worst steak and shakes etc... However, Zaxby's bucks that trend. This particular location has been very solid. Service is usually quick, there is never a big crowd, the food is almost always hot and fresh, but when it is not, the manager replaces it with no attitude. If you are looking for a drive thur in the Stonecrest area this is one of your best options. This place is only crowded in the afternoon and still manages to move pretty fast. It always less crowed than your only other chickfala (which is more difficult to get in and out if too) As far as food goes mostly it is stellar. Cooked fresh, it is always hot. This loses a star for its food through. While it is almost always great, I have gotten burn food before. Food that should have never left the kitchen. Usually, the problem on onions rings and similarly fried items. If I was lucky enough to check it before pulling off, saying I didn't want burnt food always got me some fresh with no argument. I can't complain about customer service. An annoyance not worthy of 5 stars that I have to ask for it. I ordered a House salad and requested the senior discount posted on the door. I then waited and waited and waited for the discount to be applied. I waited so long my food was ready and getting cold. This location is usually decent. But my last visit was completely horrible, but I do not place blame on the restaurant itself but corporate. Corporate ruined the menu first of all, removing the Buffalo Blue zalad. Second, it's EXTREMELY obvious that Zaxby's has started using inferior ingredients (all while having the utter AUDACITY to increase prices by several dollars) compared to past supplies. The chicken wings barely had any meat on them, the fries had a chemical aftertaste that literally tasted like vomit, and they did not give me any Zax sauce or notify me they were out when giving me my order. Zaxby's was one of the few fast food places that I would actually dine at, but no more, Zaxby's and their corporate greed have gotten the last penny out of this paying customer. The line is ALWAYS way longer than it should be. Expect to be in the drive thru a minimum of 30 minutes. Secondly, they can't follow instructions. Third, the food is always throw your meal together. My entire experience was horrible at this restaurant today. I waited 20 min in the drive through line. While waiting in line I was able to sign up for and place an order through your app(shows how long I was waiting). When I got to the window I was told I couldn't pick my order up through drive though and I had to come inside(even though your app says you can). Once inside I questioned the elderly lady as to why I couldn't pick my order up through the drive through and she told me I could. Then when I explained to her what happened she switched and said no I had to come inside. "Online orders were holding up their drive through line" were her exact words. Am I not a customer? Didn't I just wait in line for 20 minutes so wouldn't this have already affected the drive through times? I debated with her for a couple of minutes about this then took my food and left. When I got home my entire order was wrong. I was given a salad with no dressing. How hard is it to put dressing with a salad? I also and paid for two extra sauces for my chicken tenders and those were also not included. Additionally, I requested the salad with no cucumbers and it had cucumbers in it. All of this is printed on the receipt so all someone had to do was actually read the order when fulfilling it. Everything that you all could do as establishment today was wrong. This is one of my favorite Zaxby's to come to. Especially when I want some chicken while I'm perusing the mall. I'll just drive on over (right across from Stonecrest). It seems that the service is on the decline, as well as the amount of food. But the prices went up as well. It fluctuates. Once I came here and it was $499 for a meal, then $5.29, then $6, then back to $4.99, now up to $6.29 I believe. Still not bad for a meal though. But worth a mention. Usually get quick service, but this time it was a bit slower. This location is usually not that crowded. read more
