It wasn't awful. It just wasn't tasty or worth the price. The cheese curds I was really looking forward to but they were super blah. I could see cheese. But I couldn't taste cheese. First time to Zaxby's and this new location. We went to drive thru. I ordered the chicken finger plate and my husband got the signature sandwich. We waited 5 minutes at the window for our food which seemed excessively long. No explanation was given. When we got home I was disappointed to find no Zax sauce or any sauce at all in the bag for my fingers , an insanely small amount of coleslaw and no utensils to eat it with. The chicken was juicy and I did enjoyed my teaspoon size of coleslaw The seasoning on the French fries was very good . However for the $11.69 price tag I was very disappointed in the meal. Having never been to a Zaxby's , and after hearing all the hype on their special sauce, I felted cheated. I went out to the website to see what it showed for the finger plate and was surprised to see I was charged $1.10 more!! I included my receipts to show I had no extra items. The bag receipt even shows I should have received Zax sauce. This store has been opened for a few months now so I can't accept that they are new and still working through the kinks. Just a lack of attention to detail and carelessness. Do better Leavenworth! Tip: check your order before leaving! read more

My girlfriend, her cousin, and I went through the drive thru today and at first it seemed all normal: I ordered the three nibblers combo with lettuce and mayonnaise, fries, and Dr Pepper as a drink. My girlfriend ordered a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla COMBO with fries and a Dr Pepper. Her cousin (Hailey) ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with everything on it expecting MAYO. When I tried ordering 2 Zaxby's sauces, they charged me for THREE and I only got ONE. When we got our food, I ended up with no mayonnaise, my girl friend didn't get fries as she expected. Only to later, go inside, and find out. They don't keep mayonnaise in the kitchen ready to put on sandwiches. (but they had packets!!! ) while we were inside, we brought up all of these issues. They proceeded to laugh in our faces and tell us -condescendingly- tell us that we could get the sandwiches remade plain for US put the mayo on. As I was eating I also found a HAIR in my sandwich. We will not be coming back unless changes are made of these employees are dealt with. read more

We originally went through the drive thru and ordered three meals. My cousin got a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, and was informed after going inside that it doesnt come with fries. Her boyfriend got the nibblers combo and asked for nothing but mayo and lettuce, and got zaxbys sauce and lettuce. They charged us for 3 sides of zaxby sauce and we only got one. There was also hair in his food. When we went inside, the cook told us they didn't have mayo, but they "have mayo if you want it," all while talking to my cousin like she was stupid for thinking a meal would come with fries. horrible. my boyfriend, bestfriend and i all went to zaxbys through the drive through. we spent 35 dollars, when we got the 3 nibblers combo we asked for mayo on it and they said "alright" #1: when we got the food there was no mayo on it so we went back through to be told "oh we don't have mayo but we have mayo packets" whatever. #2 we paid 10.98 for a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla expecting french fries and a drink as we were told. ESPECIALLY for 11 dollars. Wrong. we got the quesadilla with no fries. and when we went back in to talk to them we got laughed at. What place LAUGHS at customers. this was my first time trying it in YEARS because my friends said it was amazing and the customer service completely ruined it. For 11 dollars i expect the full meal and not paying 5 dollars more for a drink. For 13 dollars I expect mayonnaise on the sandwiches that we bought and the employees not to laugh. 8/3/25 Husband went through drive through and ordered two Signature sandwich meals with drinks. Drove all the way home and opened our meals to find it was a completely different order than ours. One meal was chicken strips and slaw the other was chicken strips, hot wings, and fries. He didn't even want to return or call to get it fixed because service took so long to get it in the first place. Wasted Money. read more

Was at the restaurant on 3/14 and 3/16. Food and service good. Plenty of staff both days. Have an.issue with being able to earn points for my orders. Had no problem at the Zaxbys in KC,KS entering my points when I got home. The web site didn't recognize Leavenworth's entry numbers. I have a big safety concern at the Leavenworth Zaxbys. They have a tall steel shelving unit in the ordering area for door dash, etc to pick up orders. It is not secured to a wall. I observed a child running around the shelving unit and grabbing it as he went by. This shelving unit is tippable and needs to be properly secured so it doesn't tip over. read more

Concerns about Curbside Pick Up - there are no numbers on the slots for curbside pick up so I just had to make up my own number. Sat in my car for 10 full minutes, never had anyone check on my order. Finally after 15 minutes I went into the store and they directed me to a pick up rack, my order was not there. I then spied it on the counter and picked it up. When I asked about the slots for curbside pickup the employee wasn't sure they would be getting numbers. The food was o.k. but fries were soggy. The chicken fingers were a bit dry as well. not sure the juice was worth the squeeze on this one, if I try again, I'll just go thru the drive thru - it seemed to move quickly. read more
