I want to give a huge shoutout to James at Zaxby's for his amazing customer service! I actually come all the way from West Plantation just to eat at this location, and James is a big reason why. He is always friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely makes you feel appreciated as a customer. Great customer service like his is hard to find these days, and he truly deserves recognition for the way he treats people. Zaxby's is lucky to have someone like James on their team! Highly recommend this location! My puppy and I love James read more

Having tried Zaxby's once a few months ago and having been spectacularly disappointed, my son and I were in the neighborhood and decided to give it another go. How bad could it be? 14 minutes ordering fro a drive thru window manned by someone who quite obviously doesn't want to be there and doesn't care if customers know it, just to pay $30 for two people to eat cold, overdone chicken and soggy toast, out of a bag containing LITERALLY 14 ketchup packets when none were requested. We won't be back. read more

The experience I received last night is almost hard to rate. I arrived at 8:20pm to place an order inside. My first impression began with the poorly lit parking lot that seems almost unsafe to get out of the car. However the most disappointing part was the lack of customer service from Brianna at the front counter. There was no greeting, no smile or any attempt to provide a good experience. I asked for the order to be cooked fresh but what I received was pre-cooked food that she explained had been "dropped again" when I placed the order. The overall demeanor I received from her was a lack of care and concern for the customer. This is the very reason why I didn't request to have my order cooked again as I ordered. I don't know if these reviews are read by the corporate office or a franchise owner but something needs to be done to improve their front line experience and process. Fast food restaurant shouldn't mean Bad Experience with Bad Food. read more

The Cobb salad is the best. I prefer it over Chick Fila's. Tastes like a homemade salad.

Not only was the food amazing but the service was excellent, it was my first time ever trying zaxby's and I figured it was going to take a bit to figure out what I wanted, but I was pleasantly surprised by the charismatic assistance of the employees, one guy in particular stood out, he made the experience interactive, having me catch the sauces and cracking jokes. It really was a great experience, even without the food part. read more

There was a plastic bristle in my southern fried shrimp. It ended up in my mouth and I almost swallowed it! It's over an inch long! I almost choked!! I ordered through ubereats so I don't know what my recourse is. This is the first time I ordered from them and the last!! read more

Their service SUCKS stood at the counter for 10 mins and had to go to the drive thru in order to place an order

Stopped by to grab some lunch while driving through the area and was pleasantly surprised! We got 4 big zax snack meals and all of them were made correctly and ready on time. The tenders were crispy yet moist, probably some of the best I've had from a fast food restuarant. The fries were done well, could have been crisper but they were well seasoned. The toast was good too. We really like the Buffalo garlic sauce, and even the spicy one! Service was fast and helpful, they gave us extra sauces and utensils upon asking. Family friendly spot with tons of parking. The inside is clean and has plenty of seating. read more

Everything from the moment I entered and began wondering if the ac was working. I placed my order and the cashier was friendly enough. When I got my drinks I found out the ice machine wasn't working. When I got home I realized my order was wrong. The food my bf ordered tasted like it had been sitting out. Not fresh. read more

Solid experience, the food was on point and I did not have to wait long. The staff were very friendly and gave us zero problems. The restaurant was clean, vibrant and most importantly welcoming. This location did not disappoint and I will definitely be coming back! read more

I was so happy to see there was a Zaxby's en route to our final destination. I have loved Zaxby's for many years as I lived in GA where they started. I have had Zaxby's in many places and have never been disappointed but that changed when I visited this location. The food was not hot and fresh as I am used to. The chicken was tiny and dry. Very disappointed read more

$14 for 6 full wings, 3 tenders, fries, toast, sauce, cocoa-cola freestyle/sweet tea is a top notch deal. The salad was a little soggy, the egg roll in the salad must've been submerged in water, not necessarily a bad thing but idk. To see Zaxby's have 2 out of 5 stars from 85 reviews makes no sense to me, like bruh, I let Tripvisor let my eyes do the evaluation. read more

This is the absolute worst fast food restaurant I've ever had the occasion to attempt to get drive through food. Wait time after placing the order was EIGHTEEN plus minutes. Placed the order requesting NO pickles. You guessed it, the sandwich had pickles. Can NOT give a favorable review of this establishment. read more

I haven't had Zax in years and it's not how I remember, the food was lackluster cold and tough. The only thing that was good was the Slaw and sweet tea which I think gave me a cavity. read more

Prior to their POPEYE'S rippoff with it's Chicken Signature Sandwich ZAXBY'S had and still has the Kicking Chicken Sandwich. It's supposed to packed with a "kick" with the heat from it's sauce but I didn't find that to be the case which is fine by me. If the flavor is bothersome you can drown out the taste with some other condiment. It's a decent sandwich consisting of 3 Chicken Tenders on Texas Toast. I prefer and recommend the Chicken Signature Sandwich. read more

I get lured back each month because of deals on their app and typically am disappointed at the end of my meal despite getting good discounts. Consistently the reasons being: 1) The portion sizes keep getting smaller. Each time it seems like the tenders keep getting smaller. Even if I order a large fry, the amount just seems insufficient. 2) The food is never hot enough. The tenders and fries are always just luke-warm and not blazing hot. 3) The taste is lacking. The tenders don't have enough of their signature batter and the fries sometimes are almost devoid of the special spice. (The spice/taste is the differentiator of Zaxby's.) 4) The tenders are not super juicy/moist. 5) The latest time, the texas toast was only toasted on one side and cold. Even with the really good deals, I would have trouble recommending Zaxby's to anyone. I really urge management to dine at some of their competitors like Bud's and Chick Fil A to see the difference and try to get their product better. read more

Zaxby's is a fast casual chain of chicken restaurants. The first Zaxby's restaurant was opened by friends Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley in Statesboro, Georgia in March 1990. It was based on another chain that Zach McLeroy enjoyed while attending the University of Georgia. Zaxby's now has restaurants in 17 states. I first tried Zaxby's a number of years ago during a vacation in Georgia. There is also a location I frequent near UCF when I visit my daughter but there aren't too many in South Florida where I live. This one in Lake Worth is the only one I've come across. I am a fan of their chicken salad called zalads but they also serve chicken fingers, sandwiches, and meal dealz. I remember Zaxby's having really amazing shakes on their menu in Georgia but I didn't see them listed here. The dining room is currently closed so take it to go but I did see a family enjoying their dinner on a table on the outside patio. I ordered the house salad with chicken which came to $10. They were out of my dressing so I just used some I had at home. The salad or should I say zalad is huge and come with Texas toast which was more like limp buttered bread. I really like their chicken. It is hard to judge this location without it being fully open to I am just going to round my 3.5 up to a 4. The kids staffing this location are friendly and working hard. It is a nice alternative to the other chicken franchises. read more

My son and I had a disappointing meal at Zaxby's a few days ago. The food was just okay as was the service. The inside of the restaurant was dark and the tables were dirty even though the restaurant was fairly empty at 2 pm on a Thursday. The drink fountain was out of at least half of the pictured selections. When we ordered chicken sandwiches, the cashier called back to the kitchen to see if there were tomatoes for the sandwiches. Apparently running out of items is normal. Lastly, our lunch was way overpriced for what we received. Won't go back. read more

I'm giving this location a 4 star! I arrived on Monday night to dine in with my family. Chances are, if you went to a Florida university, you definitely had Zaxby's in your life. Personally, I use to love getting Zaxby's when I was in Gainesville. It was a great price for some delicious wings and texas toast. When I moved back to South Florida, it was hard finding a Zaxby's nearby. I saw this location driving by and decided to give it a try. They are very clean inside! Has such a new modern feel to their dining room. I loved the lighted signs around the dining room. They also have the new digital Coca Cola fountain machine so you have more variety to choose from with your soft drink. We ordered the chicken sandwich and some wings. I requested to have all flat and they said they were only able to do mostly flat. Since I ordered the meal, it should've came with a texas toast bread. When we got our order, they forgot it. We had to go back and ask for it. Otherwise, their sauces did not disappoint. We ordered one set of wings the spiciest sauce they had. It was very spicy. We thought the chicken sandwich was smothered with sauce. They could've had less sauce. For 3 people, our total was $25. I would definitely go back if I'm in the mood for wings again. read more

I am not a fast food fancier but wanted to try the Asian chicken salad served here. I went through the drive thru twice at this location and both times have been completely different. When the first time occurred, it was smooth and easy. We got our order in no time and even thanked us for coming. I've had the chicken kick, which is a little spicy for me and the kids love the grilled cheese sandwiches they have here. The second time was totally different. We went on a Saturday night and ordered through the drive thru. We pulled up and paid. The wait was on for about 15 minutes while there was five cars that were behind us waiting for their orders as well. We saw the staff asking the kitchen crew what's going on after they seen it was backed up and not one crew member came over to tell us anything. It was finally ready and they open the window to give us our stuff. Nothing was said about an apology for the wait or anything. We asked for extra sauce and they gave it to us. When I saw that nothing was acknowledged by us waiting in line, I mentioned to the crew member it would be nice to apologize to the customers for the unexplained wait. She looked at me and didn't say anything. The grilled chicken sandwich was good and all was happy once we ate after getting back home. I'm not sure what's up with the service that time, but I couldn't believe it since I have never received a bad service from any of the locations in the past. I can't speak for the inside and probably will stick to the drive up for a while until they get their location established and handled professionally. read more

The restaurant is clean and neat. Chicken is very well cooked and tasty. I especially enjoy their salad with chicken and egg roll. Prices are reasonably even with the out of control inflation from the swamp in D.C. Makes a really good change from KFC and Popeyes. Highly recommended. read more

Had order around the middle of the afternoon around 5 o'clock. I ordered a five piece tender. They only gave me four piece. On top of that I told the young lady I went a large fry. I had to went back and get the fries. Instead of recreating my order I had to script off the coleslaw off my plate. When they could've give me new whole plate. Every time I order from this location, they messed up my order. Told the young man to sure it's fresh. My food was not even fresh at all. I don't recommend no one goes to this location. Wednesday lunch time. Not a sole here but me and they don't have chicken ready? If you have a drive thru then you should be prepared to let people order and drive thru! Just a average chicken restaurant. The food is seldom served hot. The staff shows little interest in their customers and their job. I have been to several locations and have seen good and bad with this brand of service and food quality. It really depends on which location you visit to the food quality and service level you will receive. The food is usually ok but there is often times when you do get it served right it's better than other times when you are not served fresh hot food. Just stuff that's been lying under a heat lamp and this just makes your food soggy and limping. read more

first of all the customer service was trash. they said we would be waiting for 3 mins in reality we sat there for like 10-15 and when we pulled off to go back through the drive through they finally decided to come out. and the only things they got right was my husbands food. I asked for a fucking FRIED CHICKEN ZALAD WITH NO TOMATO AND RANCHHHHH!!!! she repeated the fucking order back and everything and I still got a GRILLED CHICKEN ZALAD WITH TOMATOES AND VINAGRETTE . never come here ever this place shouldn't be open at all. it's already got a 2.0. We go to Zaxby's very often. Driving through the area we stopped by for a quick lunch. I am not sure what's wrong with the chicken but it had a very off taste. Left grossed out after our meal. Also, we asked for extra sauce on our sandwiches and they did the complete opposite. There was barely any on there, would have been nice to have to cover the odd taste of the chicken. Probably would have still tasted off tho. On the brighter side, the location was very cute and clean! And the service was great. I would still avoid. read more

The fresh wings tenders and fries is no longer something that happens at Zaxbys. The chicken is never hot the fries are never hot and the tenders are room temperature. You will never get all 3 hot. It's a hit or miss. The youngsters who work here is a whole different story one flip mouth said something slick and when I asked him to repeat it he said nothing. Ask for freshly cooked food and see if you can get it all hot. The toast was so hard it was unbelievable. Gotta stop going to this location it's a waste of time and poor food quality. read more

It has been raining all day, only to walk to one locked entrance door. I moved car around to the other side and got in. There was no one in drive-thru yet the lady acted as if she didn't see me and the other customer even standing there. Didn't say hi, didn't say she would be with us, just nada. I have eaten here before 3 times by drive-thru and food is never hot and service is always lacking. They need help or training by WPB locations as they are great. This was my first time experiencing a Zaxby's. Because the Wings & Things platter is a sampler I opted for this. It consists of 5 boneless wings in the sauce if your choice, three chicken fingers, celery sticks, seasoned french fries, and Texas toast. We also ordered a side of Cole slaw, spicy fried mushrooms, and white cheddar cheese nuggets. The Cole slaw was very good. We would definitely have the mushrooms again. We didn't care for the cheese nuggets that are served with a marinara sauce ( which is great for kids since it is full of sugar). The boneless wings were very good with my choice of sweet and spicy sauce. Their chicken tenders are probably one of the best I have had. I think the french fries are seasoned with just a dusting of Season Salt but are tasty. Overall I would definitely eat here again. So if you pass by one in the Northern part of the county, stop in and try it. read more
