First of all I just want to say I do not blame Zaxbys' as a "fast food" place or "restaurant" itself BUT, I do blame the entirety of 'Fast Food Industries' as a whole because how did the people whom own these places...STILL OWN THESE PLACES?! Unless it's under new management because that is legit the only reason I can think of personally, when it comes to WHY the staff is never capable of getting my order right. I mean come on now, I even "saved time" on both my end and y'alls end BY PLACING A MOBILE ORDER BEFORE proceeding with traveling up to the actual establishment...meaning you LITERALLY see the order IN FRONT OF YOUR God-blessed EYE-SOCKETS and STILL CANNOT MANAGE to follow the simple WORD FOR WORD instructions........! I came through the drive through today to get some cheese bites. I currently have strep so I didn't want to walk inside and get anyone sick. When I hit into 1 of the cheese bites they were really soggy so I asked my girlfriend if she could go in and ask them to make fresh ones. She came back out and I realized it was the same food re cooked. The cheese bite I had took a bite out of was still in the box. After I realized they recooked my food in the same oil that everybody else's food was being cooked in I went inside to tell someone. I don't know if I talked to a manager or employee but he just looked at me and didn't say anything after repeating multiple times "I have strep and you just recooked the food I bit into and I think you need to switch out your oil because you might get others sick" and he just stood their looking at me not saying a word. Until right before I leave he says "okay" and continues to takes orders. I honestly don't know how they have a 100% grade level. Please be careful where you eat y'all. Ordered the wings and things with the teriyaki sauce. The toast they give you was meh. The fries were lovely and crispy. The traditional wings were also good, but talk about sauce overkill. Went back and they treated me like I lied about not having all of my order!!!! They told me if i didnt show my bag of food they wouldnt give me the rest of my order! As I sit here on the phone to complain about my order of $55.00, I can hear the associates and customers placing orders. Why (after asking to speak with a manager) am I not placed on hold? After waiting 5 minutes or so, an associate attempted to hang up on me, but before doing so I informed him that I was holding to speak with a manager regarding my order last night. Went to Zaxby's for a quick dinner usually have the salads decided we would try the new limited time sandwiches so we ordered. While waiting for our order went to use restroom boy was that a mistake soon as I opened the door the smell of urine smacked me in face had to hold my breath whole time I was in there seemed like hadn't been cleaned anytime recently. We finally got our meals cheese wasn't even melted on our sandwiches but fries were warm. Went to get refills on our drinks and low and behold two of the three containers of tea were empty. I have had their food at other locations and was pleased, however this location was disappointing. I took family, visiting from out of town, to a place, I thought with decent food at reasonable prices. Also they hadn't tried it before. Tables were dirty, we cleaned them ourselves. The chicken and bread were burnt. It was difficult to even chew the chicken fingers. Zazby's has great salads. We stopped for salads but this location is really dirty. Floor is slippery & dirty under every table. We had to clean our own table while employees leaned against the counter socializing. We ordered in but received our food packaged to go, which is no big deal but the salad sizes are not the same. The guys are complaining their salads are too small (& they are definitely bigger usually) but they do taste good. I gave them some if my chicken fingers to settle them down. They have the good ice. I like to get the Fried (so what) House Zalad with Med. dressing. I have an idea for a list now... :) Parking lot is easy to get in and out of. My wife likes Zaxby's. I've not been impressed. She wanted to grab a to-go to eat while watching the Panthers beat the Bengals. I tried to explain we'd miss some of the game as my past experiences indicate Zaxby's gives new meaning to "fast food". We walked in @ 12:38 since there were 7 or 8 cars in line. 4 people were in line. After ordering a 10 piece fingers & side of fries, we finally got back in our car @ 1:12. I have never stopped at any of their locations when it didn't take more than 15 minutes to get served, regardless of the number of people in line. As far the food goes, their fries run a distant third to Wendy's or Hardee's. NEVER do McDonalds, so can't compare. Their chicken fingers were overcooked, too crunchy. Sauces were OK, but not outstanding. Left up to me, there'd be 50" of snow in Charlotte before Zaxby's sees my face again. read more

Great salad!!! If you have egg or dairy allergies do not eat any fried chicken!
