How do I spell Buffalo Wings from this place or any other Zaxbys, TERRIBLE! My wife brought a rather decent sized box of boneless wings and other things for dinner today. Most of it was pretty good and some of the other flavored wings were actually acceptable. But those Boneless Buffalo wings aren't fit to feed to a starving dog! It's been in excess of two years since I've had a decent one from here. They were not sauced. They were way overcooked and tasteless! I have written and submitted several Yelp reviews about these disgusting Buffalo wings. Obviously Zaxbys doesn't look at Yelp reviews but a lot of people in my hometown do! If you can't cook a decent Buffalo wing, I suggest you drop it from your menu! read more

Having been in the area only a few weeks, we've already had takeout from here twice. Love their Chicken Caesar salad! Cold salad, warm tender grilled chicken, mixed with just the right amount of dressing. Awesome!! Second time had their Two to Go chicken fingers, Texas toast and fries with sweet tea. We ordered sides of slaw. Everything was amazing, moist nicely done tenders and creamy slaw. Can't wait to try something else in the menu!! read more

Worst place ever. I've came here so often and been a good customer. It was the second time that I didn't get a dressing and I finally decided to bring my salad and tell them. The manager was so consistent on saying "all I can do is give you a salad dressing" I brought the full salad back she could have given me a refund or exchanged my salad .. but instead she said it was my fault that I could have came back for the dressing. One of the better "fast casual" dining options in Gaffney. The Blackened Blue Salad was very good with tons of blue cheese chunks. My go to item is the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich - super messy and delicious. Even if you're not a fan of seasoned fries, the ones here are good. And who doesn't love a Coke Freestyle Machine - Raspberry Coke all day long baby!!! Would have been four stars but the employees weren't all that friendly or smiling (not like at Chick Fil A). read more

Impressively clean and rather upscale-looking location of this Athens, GA-based fast food chain in the middle of nowhere. Hubby heard about their excellent fried chicken and had to make a pit stop. He got the smallest adult meal possible, which he thought was still very ample. His meal included two or three juicy and perfectly battered chicken tenders and crinkle fries dressed with something akin to barbecue seasoning. All meals come with Zazby's special chicken sauce. My fried-chicken loving man said that the rave reviews of Zaxby's fried chicken were well-deserved. The chicken was simply marinated and battered with probably a buttermilk, salt, and pepper, and garlic powder mixture, but the end results were nothing short of amazing. Pat-your-belly-good. I ordered the fried spicy mushrooms, which also came with the "chickens sauce," which is actually vegetarian-friendly, too. Though the 'shrooms weren't spicy by my standards, they were not overly breaded and pretty addictive. Not much to see in Gaffney, except perhaps its historic district, but we'll stop by again just for Zaxby's. By the way, Bojangles, Sonic, and Waffle House are all within close range, so a wealth of choices if you wanted to satisfy all your Southern fast food cravings. read more

I would normally never waste my time or yours in reviewing a fast food restaurant, however the Cobb Salad here was worth noting. I was wanting something lite & healthy for a long road trip which is why I was looking for a good salad. Had it without cheese or bacon & had extra tomatoes & cucumbers. The onion straws on it are addicting. Had the grilled chicken for the first time here. It's healthier & tastes as good as the fried. This is my new go to place for quick salad. The employees here were friendly and efficient. The cook did a good job of presentation. read more

So Mattie rang up me and my mom we were visiting from DC. We informed her this was our first time here and she tried her best to suggest things she would recommend. Then she recommended 5 wings (no meal) which is the same price as the whole meal (see attached photo) now Mattie was sweet and acknowledged the error. We asked her manager to please change the order from just wings to the meal and Her manager RENEE was very rude condescending and borderline racist. I understand this is a hard industry I have worked retail in DC one of the most brutal retail markets in America so I do understand. Renee was nasty and rude with us refused to make eye contact and talked to us like dogs she then upcharged my mom a dollar and still didn't give her, her drink. So my mom had to double back and go get it. This type of treatment is unprofessional, unnecessary, and elementary. I reallyyyyyyyyyy hope Niya or Mattie or another young person here with better social skills becomes manager. Renee's attitude was unacceptable. read more

I came to this Zaxby's roughly around 4:00pm on Sunday, the staff seem careless to the fact that they had a full tailgating crew(family of 8) that were standing up, chanting, and yelling inside the building while watching the game on the company's television. The group did not purchase anything!! An employee of Zaxby's was also involved and seem as if nothing was wrong with this group performing like this. Needles to say Zaxby's is not a sports bar but their management didn't address it either. This visit made me very uncomfortable and I will not be returning. I hate that this one incident changed the way I look at all Zaxby's franchises. read more

The food was good I have no complaints there and one person was cleaning the whole time we were there so that is great I love to see this. That being said when it is 38* outside so you have on a Pea Coat and Toboggan you would expect to take those articles of clothing off while you eat your dinner, but you will not do so here. My hands were cold to the touch, my daughter wanted to get back to the car the second she finished eating, another customer was wearing the hood of his sweat shirt and putting is hands in the pocket between uses, and the front of house staff all had on fleece jackets. When I told a staff member that it was incredibly cold she said she was sorry and that it's really hot back there while she motioned toward the "behind the counter area", yet her and the other visible staff had on fleece jackets. This is the second time temperature has been an issue here, food has always been good but this family of four can't handle the frigid temperature, sorry. read more
