Stopped in specifically for the seasoned fries. The fries had ZERO seasoning on them, and were so undercooked and gross no amount of salt could make them enjoyable. I got a salad just to help fill me up, and the salad tasted sour and was warm I only took a couple bites before gagging. Will not be returning to this location. I'll drive the extra miles to Bethlehem.

Why do they charge extra for an upgraded order when it's the same as a Regular? Bad experiences from this place before and during covid.

Fries were cold, chicken were old. Before and during Covid-19. Sending prayers their way.

So I was hesitant to eat here because of all the bad reviews but I have now eaten here several times and I've never had a problem.

Ordered the Zax grilled chicken salad. Where is the meat? Maybe 1/8 a chicken breast. Expensive for a plate full of nothing but lettuce.

In the special requests section, I meant to type "PLEASE DO NOT DRENCH WINGS", however autocorrect must've switched the word 'drench' to 'French'. Okay, I understand that's a mistake on my part, however, one of the things I would've done is 1. Used my context clues since there were no fries ordered 2. Called the customer to figure out what was meant. When I arrive to pick up my order, a sweet girl asks what I meant. I told her, she showed me the food and asked if I considered them drenched. I politely said "yes I do, it doesn't even look extra crispy to be honest. Are they able to remake it " She calls over a rude, boy who must've just been ready to go home by the name of Jacob, and asked if they could remake them. He comes over with the worst attitude, "THOSE ARE NOT EVEN DRENCHED" I said, "how are you going to tell the customer what they considered drenched or better yet soaked in xxhot sauce?" Jacob then responds, " I'm just saying they don't look drenched to me- they look dry actually", He didn't try to come up with a solution. Didn't ask to give my money back, refund it, he just said call my manager in the morning. Then kept sweeping. I threw away the wings when I got home. I won't be returning, because if these are the type of disrespectful kids they are hiring, I have no desire of supporting.

I found Flako's Fish & Chicken (the name on the receipt--though the building says…read more"Fish-Chicken-N-More") while browsing Google Maps for a well-rated spot, and this place definitely stood out with its 4.5 stars and hundreds of reviews. After scrolling through the photos, I was sold and decided to check it out with my partner on May 1, 2026 around 6:00 PM. As soon as we walked in, the place was buzzing. There were a lot of people inside--some ordering, many waiting--which honestly felt like a really good sign. The atmosphere was lively, a bit crowded, and full of that "local favorite" energy. It's not a fancy or polished dine-in spot, but it felt authentic, busy, and promising. After looking over the menu, we ordered: - 6 piece plain wings with fries & celery $7.99 - 12 piece hot wings with fries & celery $12.49 - 12 piece wings (6 lemon pepper / 6 garlic parmesan) with fries & celery $12.49 Total came out to $34.95 after tax. When we got home and opened everything up, the wings looked incredible--crispy, well-coated, and fresh out the fryer with a really appetizing golden-brown color. You could immediately tell they were made to order. My partner had the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan combo and rated it a 4.5/5. The seasoning was bold, savory, and well-balanced--the lemon pepper had that zesty, slightly tangy kick, while the garlic parmesan was rich, aromatic, and cheesy without being overwhelming. I had the 12 piece hot wings and would rate them a 4/5. The heat level was definitely there--spicy, bold, and satisfying--but I do wish there was a bit more depth of flavor beyond just the spice. Still, they were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and overall really enjoyable. One thing that stood out in a good way was the wing size. Most of them were actually pretty big--definitely larger and meatier than what you'd get at places like American Deli or similar spots. A few smaller ones here and there, but overall solid portions. A couple small downsides: - Each box only came with 2 pieces of celery, which felt a bit skimpy. - The fries were just okay. I'm sure they're great fresh--crispy and golden--but by the time we got home, they already tasted a bit stale and limp, which was disappointing. I was honestly hoping they'd be better than American Deli's, but they didn't quite hit that mark. Overall, this spot lived up to most of the hype. Flavorful, generously portioned wings, a busy and energetic atmosphere, and solid value for the price. I'd definitely come back--next time I might eat there fresh or try different flavors to see what else stands out.

I went with the fried chicken, and it was really seasoned and tasty. It is a bit on the dryer side, if it had been just a little moister, it would've been perfect. The food here is genuinely excellent--some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Atlanta…read more The skin is incredibly crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken is clearly butchered and cooked with care. The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. Just be prepared to spend a bit more--and maybe come hungry.

This place still hits exactly like it did that first summer after we moved here, back when Tuesday nights somehow turned into just one beer that lasted three hours and a full basket of wings. We started with fried mushrooms, which disappeared faster than my self control around anything deep fried. Then came the wings. Flaming parmesan was elite, medium was classic, and lemon pepper was basically required by Georgia law. Every flavor delivered exactly what you want from wings. The atmosphere is peak Wild Wing. It is loud in the best way, full of energy, with TVs everywhere and people actually having a good time. The live band pushed it over the top. At one point I genuinely forgot I had responsibilities the next morning, which feels like the highest compliment I can give. We finished with funnel fries, which are essentially what happens when dessert decides to go all in. Absolutely worth it. Shoutout to Regan, our server, who was attentive, friendly, and had perfect timing every time we needed something. Somehow always there when we needed refills but never hovering. All in all, it was one of those nights that sneaks up on you. We came in for dinner and left with full stomachs, a little nostalgia, and a strong urge to bring back weekly wing nights like it is that first summer all over again.
