food was great! The only problem i had was seeing a 500 pound man sitting at table with 12,13,14 year olds. He was asking them to look at his belly rashes and things of that nature. This restaurant is great and the food is delicious but I have to say that my experience was negatively affected the last time I was there through no fault of Zaxby's. I was waiting for my food and I heard what I thought was a loud dog whimper behind me. I turned around to see a 450lb balding man with a beard that didn't connect to his moustache and what I believe was his wife standing next to him. I realized that the dog whimper sound actually came from this man. Apparently his name is Richard and I was later told by the staff that he is known locally as Liquid Richard or Wingo. Richard kept talking about having to get an infected cyst in his boob lanced because he didn't have money to get it surgically removed and asking me if I would be willing to do something vile to assist him with a "sideways turd". As you can imagine I was appalled beyond belief and when I looked at his wife I saw that she was in tears and seemed to have been recently abused. I asked her if everything was ok and Richard cut in an replied "She just crying because the bariatric pressure changed." At this point the staff at Zaxby's had enough and thankfully asked Richard to leave. On his way out he yelled "LOOK HERE, LOOK LISTEN! CONSEQUENCES HAVE ACTIONS PIMP!" and got into a small Ford Focus that was such a tight fit for him that I could see his knee was rubbing on the gear shift center console. As he drove off he hit and killed a deer that jumped out in front of his car. I was in shock but I was able to take a picture of the deer he hit and I'll upload it here. Again, I don't blame the staff at Zaxby's for this negative experience and otherwise this is a fine establishment. But if your in the Conway area just be on the lookout for a 450lb bald man with a beard that doesn't connect to his moustache and make sure you stay far away from him. read more

I'm over spending my money at this Zaxby's! I always try to give them a chance once a month but yet the food is very disappointing. It shouldn't take me calling and complaining to get my food right. It should be done right the first time. My wings are always dry (which they are supposed to be sweet and spicy). My chips are always overcooked or undercooked. The fries always taste like they have been sitting and the portions are way less than what it used to be but them prices keep going up. I don't even receive my receipt to do a survey so that should tell you something. I would suggest going to the Zaxby's at the beach if you can wait. read more

Won't go back to this location again. I've always had pleasant experiences through the drive thru, but the last two times I've placed mobile orders to pick up in the outside pick up spots I've had serious issues. The last two times I've had several issues with the restaurant even answering my calls. The pick up spots ask you to call the restaurant when you pull in so you can tell them your spot and they can bring your food out to you. I don't understand the point of this if the restaurant refuses to answer phone calls. Today I placed an order for pick up around 11:50, I arrived a little before that time and called and had to call about five times before someone answered. I told them my name and I had a mobile order and all they said was it's not ready yet and hung up. I called back to let them know I was in a pick up spot and I would wait. After twenty minutes with no food I called back and had to call several times, spoke to the same woman who never apologized for my half hour wait and then proceeded to ask me what my order even was, meaning they had never even looked. I told her my order and she said she'd be right out. After another 20 minutes or waiting I became very upset after wasting my entire lunch break on an order I had ordered ahead of time and just pulled in the drive thru since the lobby was full. When I told them about my online order the woman said she had no idea I was waiting on it. No one apologized to me for my wasted time and to top it all off my order was missing items and was incorrect. I tried to call again to see if I could speak to a manager but again, they don't answer any phone calls. I'm going to just contact someone at corporate if I don't hear back soon from trying to contact someone through the website. I'd really like a refund for this order because we didn't even eat it by the time I got home because it was incorrect and freezing cold. This experience will definitely be keeping me away from ever coming back to this location again. read more

Worst Zaxby experience by far. Ordered two orders of boneless wings with fries. First time getting the food, it looked stale and the wings had a little to no sauce on them. I went back for a remake, waited 15 minutes and they brought back out the SAME food we wanted to remake. 5 minutes later, we see a cashier coming out with food, we got the food and was extremely upset. Everybody knows what fresh food out the grease looks like. They literally put the food in the microwave and thought we wouldn't notice. We went back to get the refund and the store manager wouldn't give the refund. The cashier told us word for word that the manager "chooses who to give refunds to". So we waited for them to cook us FRESH food after. Never again will I go to that busted ass zaxbys. read more
