We ordered 15 minutes before our arrival and we still had to wait over 30 minutes for our food once we arrived and checked in with the register. The food did come out nice and hot, but the tenders were tough, rubbery, and tasteless. I did enjoy the fries-- they were thicker than your usual crinkle cut and were very fluffy. The Asian salad wasn't very good either. The dressing didn't go well with the eggroll or salad, and it was very bland. Not sure if I would try this place again. read more

On this Friday night, I Googled the opening-closing hours for this Zaxby's store online, and saw that they close at 10PM. I arrived at the drive-through at 9:37 and was told that they were closed. I pointed out that their Google listing says they do not close until 10:00. The employee replied they were now closing at 9:30. I asked - Since your Google hours info says you open until 10:00, and I am here only 7 minutes after your new secret closing time, and since all I want is a salad ... would you go ahead and give me a break? The employee just said "No," and cut off the drive-through mic. Zaxby's offered poor customer service in 2 ways - 1. Changing your closing time without making that change online. Google "Zaxby's store hours" like I did (the way most people do) and select this location. 2. Failing to accommodate the customer. Proper customer service training would instruct the employee to say. "We should not be closing early without revealing that change in Google. We will fix our Google hours listing tomorrow. In the meantime, since we are only 7 minutes past 9:30, let me go ahead and fix that salad for you." That would be the proper customer service response. read more

This Zaxby's is getting better by the day! Managers Justin and George, who invited me back, are most certainly working hard to perfect that Zaxby's trademark taste and to keep customers pleased. They've been overwhelmed with business, which is a good thing, and they are holding themselves to a higher standard. On my second visit, the chicken tenders were the appropriate size, still a little dry but much better, the grilled chicken sandwich was fresh and tender perfection, and the only minor issue was that the texas toast was extremely salty. Some years ago, my wife and I dined at a Zaxby's resulting in a decision never to visit that chain again. Forgetting the past, last Sunday we had lunch at this restaurant. From now on, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country, obey the Scout's law and never again dine at a Zaxby's. The place was neat and clean. We entered, wandered through it to the counter, order and brought the food back to our table. I ordered the Wings and Things.These scrawny "buffalo wings" in no way resembled the real deal- the buffalo wings from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. Those wings belonged in the food Hall of Shame.I'm sure that good customers get better wings, but I was served the dregs. On the other hand, the chicken tenders were crispy & crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Great!! My french fries were not too hot & not to cold;nutritious, tasteless and quickly forgettable. My wife ordered the Sweet & Smoky Sandwich. Her only comment about it was "you'd have been disappointed". Now to rate this Zaxby's. The store was neat and clean. The staff, from the manager on down, was pleasant. This Zaxby's is a major hit and miss. We have more bad experiences than good since this location has opened. We've had rubbery chicken where you can tell the fat wasn't cut off properly, we've came home with wrong orders more than once, or the food was just soggy and cold. This was my first time at Zaxby's. As a huge fan of Raising Canes, I've been sad there aren't any around here. I decided to try this place as it's right by my house. The place was nice and clean. I was a little put off by the amount of employees sitting around and eating. I imagine they were on break or had just finished their shifts, but there were at least 5 employees in uniform sitting in 3 different booths/tables. There was no one at the register to greet and none of the employees at the table smiled or said anything, so it was off-putting. We were greeted by someone who came from the back after less than a minute of waiting. The employee was helpful and polite. I ordered the 3 finger plate with house sauce. I wasn't very impressed. The chicken was good, but fries were soggy and toast was cold. The sauce is very sweet and not to my liking. While I would consider ordering chicken again, when I'm craving it, it's unlikely I would visit this location, again, despite the proximity to my house. read more

The floor is sooooo slippery. Tables dirty--it wasn't busy, lots of staff just standing around when they should have been cleaning. Guy in front of me ordered a brownie. The worker "poked" each one to see which was the softest and gave it to him. He took one bite and gave it back. Said it was going to break his tooth--and that was the softest one! Do you think she took all of the harder ones out to throw away? Nope! And she took a cookie for herself while she was in there and then ate it while she was working behind the register. Gave my 16 year old son a $20 bill to go buy himself dinner. He ordered his meal and his total came out to be $10.80. He gave the cashier the $20 bill, and about 5 minutes later of waiting, some random male worker came and said that he was short 80 cents and that he gave the cashier a $10 bill not a $20. The man intimidated my son so of course he thought the man was right and gave him more money to cover what he was "missing". My son came home, and I was extremely furious when I found out about this. When I moved to the South a few years ago, I unfortunately developed an addiction to Zaxby's. I have always LOVED it, and have never really had a problem with the service-- maybe besides forgetting to add the Zax sauce (which can make or break my whole meal-- I really love my Zax sauce) but for the most part, I can't complain. I was so excited when I saw they opened they Brentwood location, finally one that's close to me! The first time I went, the drive thru was so busy so my friend went inside and ordered. It took about 25 min for him to get our meals, which was understandable. It was a Sunday evening, new location, I get that it's going to be busy. The salad I had was actually pretty sad. It was soggy and the chicken had so much sauce on it, it was hard to eat. However, I can't lie.. I still ate the whole thing. I decided to give it a second try tonight and ordered ahead of time, thinking I would avoid all of the craziness. I will admit that I got my food in the exact 30 min that it estimated, but it was a mad house again. The drive thru line was ridiculous so I decided to run inside and pick it up. The entire 15 min I stood in line to get up to the counter, there was ONE person taking orders and the SAME customer at the register the whole time. I think she may have been an employee there because she was casually talking to everyone behind the counter like she knew them. A customer in front of me asked if there was only one person taking orders, and one of the employees just responded "yes" and went back to laughing & talking to the girl at the counter (who was also face timing while she was ordering.. For 15 minutes). I eventually just went up to the counter to see if they would let me pick up my food since I already paid for it, and a few minutes later it was ready. If I had been one of the other customers waiting in line, it definitely would've killed my Zaxby's buzz. One lady said she didn't think it was worth it to wait any longer. If I hadn't already paid ahead of time, there's no way I would've waited. The line to order didn't move for over 15 minutes. I still can't get over it. I know it's still new, but it was a pretty ridiculous wait. And the fact that none of the employees seemed to care made it that much worse. (There was one girl that was bringing the orders out that seemed to be doing her job well and actually acknowledging customers when they needed something, I will give her credit) read more

Very dissatisfied. I've gone through your drive thru three times within the past month for the same thing: 5-piece tender meal with fries, drink and extra Zax sauce. All. Three. Times. The drive thru attendant missed putting my extra Zax sauce in the bag. The first two times I drove off trusting it would be there and it was not, yet I was charged the $0.25 extra charge for the extra sauce on both occasions. Last night was #3 when I stuck around, checked the bag to find once again, no extra Zax sauce. I waived the attendant down and informed her. Very rudely, she just gave me an extra sauce packet without an apology and shut the window. If you're going to make a point to charge people an extra $0.25 for sauce, make sure your employees actually follow through with the request. It's ridiculous and unprofessional. After three instances of the same thing, it almost seems deliberate and intentional that they're not following through with the request. It's a small issue I know, but indicative of a bigger problem. The poor service along with the removal of shakes from the menu are reasons I will not be returning and will continue to spread a bad word about the Zaxby's on OHB near Nipper's Corner in Brentwood. This is the worst location ever!!!! Do not order catering for lunch or dinner from this place. The manager is extremely rude and they are very unprepared. I placed and order and hour ago and after arriving I was told by a very rude woman that I should've called her 24 hours in advanced and that they didn't have that inventory in their store.(this was after my card was accepted online.) while waiting she continuously asked what my order was even though it was clearly written down online.
