Ordering through their website was easy and the food arrived surprisingly fast, which immediately lowered my blood pressure. We ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl and the beef MeatBowl. Portions were generous, especially the protein. One came over steamed-fried rice, the other over noodles, and both were flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. Thanks to them I managed to practice yoga, eat a proper meal, and still show up to my client session as a functioning human being instead of a travel zombie. Rather than replace the entire meal they pieced it together and told me what they would do rather than honor the full order. The person who made this decision was a manager. I guess times are hard for Chicken profits, but we don't have to be rude and disrespectful to one another. I could tell that the manager was in her feelings by the way I responded. I may not have looked like your typical Chick-fil-A customer with the fake smile and a pocket full of change but I can sense I was reduced and treated like a typical male that was looking for freebies. Sorry guys, that is not my profile. Try again. What could improve? Train the staff and teach them that the customer is always right. I tried to add hot sauce and soy sauce to make it less sweet. But man it was still too sweet. Lastly the key lime pie was...interesting. The crust was loose and dry as if it was missing butter to bind it. The key lime was like a thick gelatin and not custardy. At the end of the day, being from California, I think it's a regional thing. Like I said the place was packed and the reviews are decent. So maybe I'm just used to a different style of cooking.
