Manuel Zavala is NOT JUST A PAINT AND BODY TECHNICIAN... Manuel is an ARTIST! My Cadillac Escalade had multiple deep scratches from other folk's careless and maliciousness (my driver side door was keyed in Montana because of my California plates). I spoke to many other body shops, but another EXCELLENT repairman, Mauricio of Dentman of Ventura County referred me to Manuel Zavala. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Manuel matched my 13-year-old Cadillac factory paint job perfectly! I could not believe how flawless the paint job was in texture and color! When I came to pick up my truck, I also saw a newer Maserati that Manuel had just repaired for another customer which had a completely different texture but he also matched the Maserati paint flawlessly. The driver side door posts also had some faded and cloudy clear coat. Imagine my shock when I arrived and Manuel had repaired the door posts as well! He told me he couldn't bear to see those door posts next to the perfectly repaired door. He also buffed out a scratch in the front fender and buffed the upper headlight lenses. Manuel was courteous, had fair prices and finished my paint in one day! I can't give enough recommendation to Manuel Zavala! He is a master craftsman!!! read more

They even fixed another tiny door ding that I didn't even show them, but they noticed it, and had to paint the door anyway, so they took care of it, too. Nacho Sr/owner.....I have used Zavala for all my car issues since 1995...Nacho does the best work plus great prices. He is always kind, patient, upbeat, listens to your needs, and always has a smile on his face. I have referred numerous friends as well to Nacho over the yrs of doing business...everyone was quite satisfied with his work and prices. I had scratched wheel rims on my Infiniti from curb burn(4 wheels), ...the service writer @ Infiniti dealership in Oxnard said I had to paint the entire wheel @ $175 each, and it was impossible to spot paint !! So I went to Nacho, he confirm that was BS, and spot painted after sanding my rims while I watched him !! Manny is amazing. Not only does he do great work for a fair price ....he is tremendously sincere and HONEST. The other day I misunderstood the amount he quoted for a repair. I handed him a envelope with the cash and left. Later that night he called and informed me in I had overpaid him. Went in for a estimate on my car and they told me it would be $200 for parts and labor. Reasonable because of the small work i needed. They told me to come back tomorrow because that's when the part would arrive. I went back and they ordered the part for the wrong car. So they told me that the following day the right part would be there. Called again the 3rd day and they said the part was not there yet and that they would give me a call. (I got frustrated and went with another company "Adons" right after the call) and I'm glad i went somewhere else because they haven't called me back and it's been a week. Don't go here, very unorganized. read more

don't take your vehicle to Zavala . I took my truck and it was vandalized 3 times . it was supposed to just be painted black and had a lot of drips . truck is still at the shop and it has been there for over 2 years . they are thieves and tweakers and blame it on homeless people. read more

I just want to say Thank you in the biggest way to the guys over at Zavala Auto Body & Repair. From the second I got there I was greeted with a smile, great attitude and a reassuring sense of trust, which is huge because I do not trust people easily with any of the cars I shoot, especially the exotics. I was given a small tour of their shop and quickly saw just how much effort goes into making sure that every aspect of a great paint job is covered. Manny quoted me a price, and ended up given me an even better price once the job was completed and I went to pick up the car. Quality is key anywhere, but here it really is what sets this place apart. You can tell from the start how passionate both Manny and Ignacio are about making sure the customer leaves not only satisfied but proud of the finished work they drive away in. Zavala Auto Repair - Late night hours, last minute repairs. Thanks guys!!! - Auto Repair Near Me - Oxnard, California

Do not go to this shop for any repair at all!!!!! I went to this shop and met two brothers Meno and Nacho. Went in to get a front bumper painted and front cross member replaced. The front bumper has such a thin coat that the paint is chipping off. Meno did not paint all around the edges of the bumper which cause the paint to chip. Cross member was also painted by Meno which is rusting from the lack of paint coating. He offered to paint the fenders and hood so the paint would match. The paint came out worse with a huge drip of clear coat on the hood that was obvious from 10 feet away. Meno's dad saw this and said, "This is not how you paint cars!!" He promised to redo it. Called me multiple weekends to pick up my car so he can throw parties at his shop with out finishing the job. The Corvette Z06 kept going back to get redone about 4 times. He got rid of the clear coat drip but the silver paint is now messed up and has a black tint and spackles to it. Now I'm stuck with a shitty paint job that he refused to redo. He also painted my headlights and forgot to clear the gun so it had silver flakes in it. I also paid Meno to smoke the corners, taillights, rear markers, and reverse lights. The reverse lights never matched in shade and had drips that he refused to redo. I also caught him taking my car for a joy ride and smoking in it with out my permission. Now my car has a check engine light, signals don't work, and a crappy paint job. Don't do business with these guys!! You will go in with 1 problem and leave with multiple problems. They will also joy ride in your car after shop hours and smoke in it then lie to your face and deny it. I saw my car in a neighborhood 3 miles away from the shop on my GPS tracker. After pointing out the facts and finding his lighter and the smell of smoke in the corvette. He finally admitted that he smoked and drove my car around with his cousin by text message. These guys don't deserve to work on a super car or any car!!!! Stay away from this shop!!!! Save yourself the headache and anger. read more
