Great service good food! I just wish they had gluten free option when it comes to the rice bowls.

We had the Detroit (loaded original) and Fattoush salad with chicken. Couldn't be happier with: this option in its location, the food, and the service. Jacob and his team served us. Restaurant is clean. We appreciate the history of how it all started displayed on the wall. Easy access, quick service, delicious and healthy food choices. We will be back to this location and look forward to the Battle Creek location opening in August!! See you soon. Thank you for the experience! Sorry no pictures. I kind of "attacked" mine. lol Food IS visually appealing though!

Some of the chips were a little soggy. The ones that were crispy and seasoned were excellent. The hummus was okay - nothing fancy. The Dearborn is my go-to at Pita Way. The price is good and I like the dark chicken, pickles and garlic. I wish there was a little more garlic, but it was still excellent. This was my first time trying the Detroit Shawarma. I got it with white meat chicken instead of dark. The white meat is dry, so I would probably go with the dark meat next time. I had it topped with garlic, lettuce, pickles and pickled cabbage. This was okay, but the Dearborn will continue to be my go-to.

The building is in bad shape, and you can see they are working on it, but I imagine that, like everyone else, COVID changed things for them, and the improvements are slow or halted. The worst offense is probably the bathroom ceilings, and the fact that those bathrooms aren't heated. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has slipped in some cases too. The pita and toum are still THE BEST I have had around here - hands down. When I order an olive plate, I do typically expect Mediterranean style olives, but this time I got cheap pimento-stuffed Spanish olives. The stuffed grape leaves were lovely, for the most part, great flavor. But the leaves themselves were on the tough side. The fattoush was perfect. The charbroiled deboned chicken was very tender, and the flavor was nice. The grilled vegetables were quite nice. I think our server was new/er. We had to repeat ourselves pretty frequently, and ask for basic things like silverware and napkins. She seemed confused a lot and like she wasn't terribly familiar with the menu. She was, however, friendly and accommodating.
