Called Pablo late on a Friday afternoon. He came to my home right away, diagnosed the problem and then came back the next day as promised with the part and my dryer is now working again. Will use him again if anything else breaks. Thank you, Pablo! read more

Called Zapata's because my dryer wouldn't work. Pablo must have flown in on his jet pack because he arrived only a short time later (fully masked of course). He proceeded to fix the dryer in nanoseconds and after graciously accepting my personal check and thanking me for supporting a small business, this suburban superhero was on his way! Thanks Pablo! I'll be calling you about the lint issues. read more

Pablo was very responsive from the time I requested a quote on Yelp. I was remotely managing a refrigerator repair for my father so planning and communication were critical. Pablo made my "job" easy and my father is a happy camper. Highly recommended. read more

I really liked having Pablo come out and fix my dryer. Was a complicated troubleshooting issue. He did a great job and was friendly

We were desperate for a plumber during thanksgiving break and the only ones we could get charged exorbitant fees just to show up during a holiday. Our kitchen sink wouldn't drain and we couldn't run the dishwasher either. Came across Zapata's business while searching Yelp and gave him a try. Pablo showed up when he said he would and diagnosed the issue then came back again with the right equipment to snake our pipes. Prior to coming to our house he gave us a 2 hour window, and let us know when he was on his way. He was professional and charged an honest price, even when he knew we were desperate. We have not had issues with our sink since then. read more

Excellent work ethic, and really knows appliances. Pablo was able to diagnose my range problem and resolve it.

Worked on three issues - one diagnostic work and two issues fixed. Good quality of work. Pricing could have been better. Charged me $140 to change my dishwasher water connector - just labor, I bought the part. It took him probably 20 minutes max. read more

Pablo was the first to respond to the Yelp review I submitted. He has good rates ($65 for consultation, lower than many other places). He came by and diagnosed my broken washing machine. The motor was messed up - small items that flew out of the main bucket area got caught on the motor. Long story short, things broke off and parts had to be replaced. Pablo is efficient and ordered the part that same evening and picked it up the following Monday. When he came by to fix things he also gave me a deal to clean the dryer, a task I've been putting off. Pablo is very personable and seems very dedicated to his job. I would definitely call him again to for any other appliance repairs. read more

Highly recommend this small business!! Pablo is the real deal. Not only is he extremely responsive, but he has impressive turnaround time. We were able to schedule an appointment with him Sunday night, for the next morning all through the yelp app. He promptly arrived on time and fixed two appliances in what seemed like minutes. I cannot recommend this business enough. Hopefully we don't have any other appliances that give us trouble in the near future, but if we do, we know who to call. read more

The AC repair I needed went very smoothly, and at a reasonable cost. Pablo is courteous and efficient. Pablo hasn't even started the work and I wanted to say how amazing he is already. We contacted another business locally in our area who told us that they couldn't even get to our home until next Tuesday. There was a second business that we contacted and they couldn't get to us until "possibly" tomorrow. I found Pablo on yelp. He responded immediately and came the same day. He explained upfront what his charges were and how he would diagnose our issue. He contacted us before he arrived, he was on time, very professional, polite and down to earth. He explained in detail what the issue was and how he planned to resolve it. I would recommend Pablo and his business to everyone!!!! read more

Looking for an experienced, honest, professional, friendly, and responsive HVAC, plumber, or refrigerator repair technician? If so, Pablo Zapata is your man. I found that my basement refrigerator was not cooling properly and sent a request for service on Yelp. Several businesses responded that they did not service my brand of fridge, except for Pablo. He arrived a couple of hours after I posted my service need. The same day! Talk about excellent customer service! Not only that, but he correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed my compressor. Thanks, Pablo! read more

I asked of a quote for gasket replacement. I was also given a suggestion to use vinegar and clean gasket seal. It worked. Just a little extra cleaning goes a long way. I though I needed a replacement. No such thing. read more

Pablo was fantastic. I was fortunate in that he was able to come on the evening of the day I called after my washer stopped working (soonest I could get from other companies was 2 days later). He explained things clearly in non-technical terms and gave advice on future maintenance to prevent future problems. He also did routine service maintenance on my dryer while he was here, and installed my wired Ring doorbell! I know he was much more reasonable than the electrical company would have been. He was at my house quite late, making sure everything was done properly, and I was very happy with his work. He is a young guy starting this business with his brother, and I hope he is very successful. read more

Pablo was responsive and professional. He serviced my HVAC mini split system (2), one of which had stopped working properly. I found Pablo to be very engaging and answered my questions. He analyzed the problems with my system and corrected them. He charged a fair rate. I will use him again. Excellent value especially in the Takoma Park and Silver Spring area. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Pablo if you're experiences trouble with your washing machine. He was very responsive and was able to come out for a diagnostic the same day. I thought the issue might be a simple gasket repair but wasn't confident I could fix it myself. Pablo patiently walked me through the diagnostic steps and showed me where the leak was occurring (in the connection via the soap dispenser!) which I would not have been able to figure out myself. He was also transparent about the costs for parts and labor, so I felt satisfied having the replacement serviced by him. Looking forward to having him come back to snake my slow-draining shower. read more

Pablo recently helped us troubleshoot some issues with our HVAC system that we have been having for years after endless back and forth with our Home Warranty company (FYI don't use First American). He came to offer us a second opinion and very quickly was able to identify what the issues were and explain it to us in a way we understood. He provided us with different options to address the cooling issues we've had. We ended up having him replace our HVAC system at a competitive price and within 1-3 days of us making our final decision. This would have involved endless back and forth and probably taken over a month with our warranty company (we ended up canceling it). He recommended that we get our ducts professionally cleaned and he also found some faulty ductwork and issues with our attic insulation while troubleshooting some issues we were having (noticing that upstairs still seemed much warmer). For the first summer in a 2 years, I woke up to a cool home (almost chilly!). He is trustworthy, reliable, and responds quickly. We definitely will reach out to him again for advice and future repairs. Thank you for your service and professionalism, Pablo! read more

Although I was not able to use them due to my home warranty finally having someone available, I was IMMEDIATELY contacted and Pablo was very thorough and told me he could be available the next day. But again, because my home warranty was finally able to find someone for the next day as well I went with that since I wouldn't have to pay as much out of pocket. Based off his responsiveness I would recommend. read more

Paulo was outstanding! He found the problem with my refrigerator & freezer, identified the bad part and ordered it within 30 minutes after he came by. 3 days later when the part came in he installed it quickly along with a new kitchen faucet (which had been leaking for the past 2 months) & garbage disposal at a great price. If you want someone who can find the problem quickly and do the job at a great price...don't look no further that Paulo and Zapata HVAC Systems.
