    4 lanes of axe throwing
    Mr L.

Had a great time at Zap Zone. We did the Axe throwing and some others in our group did Laser Tag. It was newly renovated and the 2 story laser tag looked great but my old knees would not last 2 minutes in there. There were a few beers on tap and we had 2 pitchers of Blue Moon. We also ordered wings and French fries and they were fresh and hot. There's also a small arcade with several games. Very pleased with the facilities and all of the options for our entire group. Kids and adults both had a great time. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in because my daughter just wanted to play a game of laser tag. We were so surprised to see this refreshed space. This is a cool spot for the youth of Stockton. The cost includes 5 rounds of laser tag that will surely tire you out. You'll receive a card to enter your unique Username/Code Name and even take a photo. The multi-level laser tag arena was spacious & they had updated laser tag vests & guns. They offer different game styles, but we played Domination -- where our goal was to control as many Sectors/Zones as possible. You need to run through your base occasionally to replenish your laser ammo/energy bullets. You get to see your stats after each game & they are also displayed on a tv in the main room afterwards. Super fun experience. They also have 4 lanes for axe throwing & the set up is pretty cool for larger groups. Wide assortment of axe throwing games and user-friendly tablets to record your scores. Non-players can scan a QR code to engage and either "cheer" or "boo" the axe thrower. There are a few different axes to choose from & the staff provide a helpful demo to get you started. Beer & wine & normal refreshments are also available. There are a handful of arcade games for younger children to enjoy, but it's not a large arcade or the main attraction. I honestly didn't spend too much time looking at that area or what the prize redemption was like. I got the chance to meet the new owner & he's very friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Sukh and his team for their great service. They let us choose the music on the projector screen and everyone had a good time. Don't let the outside appearances discourage you. You'll be surprised & definitely have some fun. Stockton definitely needs more things like this for our youth to enjoy. They also do birthday party reservations!

Such a fun gem of Stockton. This spacious facility has axe throwing and laser tag (two floors to run/hide for your opponents). Kudos to the attentive and welcoming staff who were thorough with safety/instructions/tips. They let me and my date play our music choice on their large projector while we got our axe on! They have a variety of axe throwing games to choose from; if that's not enough for you they also have a smaller selection of arcade games to play. Would highly recommend for date nights or even a party.

To start...we came inperson and chose what package we wanted, looked around and was offered a specific package. We were offered to choose a room that had 12 seats and there were also rooms with 9 seats. We have a 12 kid party plus some adults so we obviously said we would want the larger room. We were also offered, if we wanted, to play alone and when we showed up party day they said no. We were shoved into a room the had a small square table that could seat 9 and would not be able to play alone. There is only 1 girl workig. The front and she was the one who sold me the package and she pretty much told me to bad. She wasn't woth a loud voice e but she was talking to me like what I was promised was to bad so sad. We paid 500$ and didn't get what was promised. I asked for the manager, who wasn't on-site, they called him on his cell phone and he pretty much didn't care. In the end after arguing, we did get the room we were promised. The party room had chopped paint all over, holes and literally half the games were broken.

We chose Funworks because they let you ride solo even if you're under 58 inches tall, just at a slower speed. That one feature in of itself separates this spot from the others, they trust the kids to drive the karts, and the kids have a blast doing so, they just limit how fast they can go in them, it's brilliant business model to be honest. This spot is a few miles from the freeway, super easy to get to. Beyond the go kart racing, they have tons of other options. There's miniature golf, bumper cars, batting cages, arcade games, and a small snack bar/food court. There's also plenty of separate spaces in that area for kids birthday parties too. The golf course was kept up pretty well we noticed. We'll for sure come back, and do the activities they offer again. They have different packages you can buy. I recommend the 12 ticket pack for $80, best bang for your buck.

My only complaint would be a bunch of things didn't work or were missing as if they took them out. The place has a bunch of potential and I hope they continue to replace the things that are missing.

I got the premium and that's around $66 or so. 2) they have a ton of lanes and we have never had to wait. 3) the food, at least the pizza, is pretty decent considering it's a bowling alley. They also have a pizza and pitcher combo (non alcoholic or beer) that's pretty reasonably priced. Now here's some of the downsides: 1) there's been service issues in the past in terms of us ordering and then the kitchen not getting the order. Also some common sense issues. Like they were offering free drinks to summer pass holders and they only gave us 1 drink for free even though there were 2 summer pass holders. It's not that hard to just give us the 2nd drink and not put it in the system as a charge (at least I wouldn't think?). We didn't fight it because we didn't want to be difficult. 2) It seems like 1/3 to 1/2 of the games in the arcade are partially or completely broken and/or out of order. 3) A lot of the balls have like cracks or chunks missing and some of the lanes mess up the pins from time to time. They probably deserve a 3/5 but the summer pass is have to say bumps them up to a 4.

Prices were actually reasonable, so we booked Sunday-Tuesday. Check-in lines were long, but the self-serve kiosk was quick and easy. We got wristbands for the room and water park and headed straight to the pool. It was packed Sunday around 5 p.m., which was expected, so we stayed a couple hours and went back to the room. Food inside the hotel was either closed or overpriced, but the location is great--about 0.5 miles from Panda Express, Chili's, Costco, La Estrella (amazing Mexican food), and more. We ate at Chili's. Parking is $20/day. You can use the water park from check-in day through checkout, which is awesome. My 11-year-old loved the Howlers Peak Ropes Course. My 7-year-old and I tried it, but he got scared at the top--staff helped him down right away. I don't blame him, it's high! I only did the first level, but my 11-year-old did the second level three times. My 7-year-old also loved the arcade. Most attractions cost extra, but there are decent deals. The only ones I wouldn't do again are mini golf and bowling--they're very small and just okay. We had the unlimited family pass, so we used them anyway. Best part: the slides! I'm 32 and my husband is 34, and we had just as much fun as the kids. Big or small, all the slides were a blast. Honestly, one of our favorite family vacations. The room (Grizzly Suite) was clean and spacious for 3 adults and 2 kids. Beds weren't super comfortable, but that's typical. Cleanliness mattered most. Checkout was easy via text, but double-check your bill--they tried to charge us $60 for "missing" towels we returned. A quick call got it refunded, but I can see how others might miss that. Overall, we'll likely be back within the next year.

Easter weekend coming earlier this year I'm sure didn't help. We made the most of it. We booked a standard family suite for 3 nights. We added their breakfast club buffet for our time here and an unlimited eat and play package. The indoor Waterpark is included with your stay here. Our beds were comfortable, but the restrooms could use a vent and a deep clean about the shower itself. (See picture). I was emailed an offer to extend, bummed that when we tried calling the front desk. No one picked up and then we waited over 20 minutes to have an older lady working front desk that there was nothing left, so she's not sure why I got an email to extend. Room rates are cheaper when you book in advance or plan for longer stays, but overall we still spent a lot here. We should have just gone to Disneyland this time around. I like that it's convenient and they offer dining and booze on property, but like anywhere there's convenience; you pay the cost for that. We did everything we could possibly do with our kids here and they still spent most of their time at the arcade. The prizes and the ability to win more tickets were amazing. We were bummed our son wasn't more excited for the MagiQuest and the other activities offered on property. It was crowded everywhere we went here no matter what time of day it was. I recommend downloading their app to reserve tables, preorder food and drinks. We dined at their buffet for our breakfast club deal and they offered a little more than a continental breakfast with their omlet station. I made it a point to load up on protein and fiber. There weren't any employees that stuck out to me besides the gift shop ladies. They were actually friendly besides the guy that ran the buffet in the morning. Thank you. We enjoyed our trip here besides the crazy crowds. Our next trip we'll plan for an off season.

It's gotten to the point where I expect bad service, but last night really pushed it over the edge. We came in for my brother's birthday after I got off work late. There were 8 of us total, but only 6 people actually wanted to bowl. Simple enough, right? I asked the employee how many people were allowed per lane, and he said 5. So I explained that we wanted 2 lanes--3 people on each--and that I would pay for one lane while my brother's friend would pay for the other. For some reason, this turned into a whole unnecessary issue. He immediately got argumentative and told me "you can't just get one lane," which made zero sense because we were literally getting two lanes--just splitting the payment between two people. Instead of just processing it like a normal transaction, he was rude, impatient, and acted like I was asking for something completely unreasonable. I genuinely don't understand why it had to be so complicated. We weren't asking for anything special--just to pay separately for two lanes. Isn't that the whole point? Taking money from customers? Between the attitude, the lack of basic customer service, and how unnecessarily difficult they made everything, this place just isn't worth the hassle.
