We listened to Christmas Music while we were doing our Axe Throwing.

We had a great time as a family here. We had the axe throwing area to ourselves. We got to pick music to listen to. The boards was a little broken so some times your axe didn't go inside. The employees are very nice. They do have an arcade, Lazer tag and party rooms also. I would go back.

Had a great time at Zap Zone. We did the Axe throwing and some others in our group did Laser Tag. It was newly renovated and the 2 story laser tag looked great but my old knees would not last 2 minutes in there. There were a few beers on tap and we had 2 pitchers of Blue Moon. We also ordered wings and French fries and they were fresh and hot. There's also a small arcade with several games. Very pleased with the facilities and all of the options for our entire group. Kids and adults both had a great time. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in because my daughter just wanted to play a game of laser tag. We were so surprised to see this refreshed space. This is a cool spot for the youth of Stockton. The cost includes 5 rounds of laser tag that will surely tire you out. You'll receive a card to enter your unique Username/Code Name and even take a photo. The multi-level laser tag arena was spacious & they had updated laser tag vests & guns. They offer different game styles, but we played Domination -- where our goal was to control as many Sectors/Zones as possible. You need to run through your base occasionally to replenish your laser ammo/energy bullets. You get to see your stats after each game & they are also displayed on a tv in the main room afterwards. Super fun experience. They also have 4 lanes for axe throwing & the set up is pretty cool for larger groups. Wide assortment of axe throwing games and user-friendly tablets to record your scores. Non-players can scan a QR code to engage and either "cheer" or "boo" the axe thrower. There are a few different axes to choose from & the staff provide a helpful demo to get you started. Beer & wine & normal refreshments are also available. There are a handful of arcade games for younger children to enjoy, but it's not a large arcade or the main attraction. I honestly didn't spend too much time looking at that area or what the prize redemption was like. I got the chance to meet the new owner & he's very friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Sukh and his team for their great service. They let us choose the music on the projector screen and everyone had a good time. Don't let the outside appearances discourage you. You'll be surprised & definitely have some fun. Stockton definitely needs more things like this for our youth to enjoy. They also do birthday party reservations!

Such a fun gem of Stockton. This spacious facility has axe throwing and laser tag (two floors to run/hide for your opponents). Kudos to the attentive and welcoming staff who were thorough with safety/instructions/tips. They let me and my date play our music choice on their large projector while we got our axe on! They have a variety of axe throwing games to choose from; if that's not enough for you they also have a smaller selection of arcade games to play. Would highly recommend for date nights or even a party.

To start...we came inperson and chose what package we wanted, looked around and was offered a specific package. We were offered to choose a room that had 12 seats and there were also rooms with 9 seats. We have a 12 kid party plus some adults so we obviously said we would want the larger room. We were also offered, if we wanted, to play alone and when we showed up party day they said no. We were shoved into a room the had a small square table that could seat 9 and would not be able to play alone. There is only 1 girl workig. The front and she was the one who sold me the package and she pretty much told me to bad. She wasn't woth a loud voice e but she was talking to me like what I was promised was to bad so sad. We paid 500$ and didn't get what was promised. I asked for the manager, who wasn't on-site, they called him on his cell phone and he pretty much didn't care. In the end after arguing, we did get the room we were promised. The party room had chopped paint all over, holes and literally half the games were broken.

Some nights start normal... and then turn into Viking training camps…read more We all met up at Limitless Axes & Ales in Stockton ready for some fun, but immediately hit a crossroads. Right next door was an escape room. Suddenly the group stood there staring at each other trying to decide between brains or brute force. Naturally, the most sophisticated decision-making system known to mankind was deployed... Rock. Paper. Scissors. Guys vs. girls. The battle was intense. Honor was on the line. Pride was at stake. The guys won axes... the ladies won the escape room. And judging by the fact that I'm writing this review about throwing axes... you already know who claimed victory. So in we went, channeling our inner Vikings. Beers were grabbed, shoulders loosened, and suddenly a group of adults began grunting and laughing like a tribe preparing for battle. Honestly... we probably shouldn't be left unsupervised. One thing that really stood out was the staff. The young man helping us was actually on the job training, but you wouldn't have known it by how well he handled everything. He did a great job, and his manager stayed right there beside him coaching and guiding him the whole time. It was honestly refreshing to see a manager taking pride in making sure her team was trained the right way. Then the throwing began. Axes flying, laughter echoing, friendly trash talk everywhere. It was one of those experiences where everyone relaxes, lets loose, and just enjoys the moment. The lanes were super clean and the whole place was immaculate. But believe it or not... the unexpected highlight of the night? The bathroom. The ladies came out laughing saying "come here!" Naturally we rushed over thinking something had gone wrong and we were about to save the day. Nope. There's a button in the bathroom that basically dares you to press it... something like "what's the worst that could happen?" You press it and suddenly music starts blasting and a light show kicks off like you're in a tiny bathroom nightclub. Absolutely hilarious. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the entire experience was professional, clean, fun, and full of great energy. Limitless Axes & Ales absolutely nailed it. And if you go... don't skip the bathroom button. Trust me.

I found this place thanks to Offbeat Coffee a couple shops down the plaza. We decided to book a room for a friend's birthday, and I initially thought "no way this is worth the money". Um... long story short, you quickly find out how much pent up anger/energy you have when you get to swinging. A couple of downsides-- while there were three of us, only two of us took our rage out. There aren't that many items, so we found that the 20 minute time limit was more than enough. We (as in the two of us) pretty much destroyed everything to pieces in 10 minutes. If you decide that you want to go with a bigger group, definitely upgrade and purchase more items to smash. Also, we came at peak 100 degree weather and this place is not air conditioned. By the end of this, we were covered in sweat, especially because the safety hats and gloves are required in the rage rooms as well. So I'd make note of that before your visit. Other than that, staff was very friendly and welcoming!

Tons of stains on the table and felt peeling. The balls all chipped and scratched. Also there was some issue with something being stuck when the game was first setup with my friend putting it together but I wasn't paying attention. He had to flag down a worker to help resolve the issue. I get it, things are pricey these days, so a newer business has to find a deal when they can, but at least find a way to improve an already overly used item. I don't expect brand new pool tables, but at least tables that look like the business cares Not to mention the ground and walls were just dirty and gross. Seemed like nobody is really cleaning the place. All the tables tops seemed sticky (if you know you know). The velvet lounge just kinda seemed like a random thrown together area, but maybe on a slow Monday it didn't feel right with lack of people. The workers were great and gave great service, just sadly all the half run down amenities that is supposed to make this place great, makes it pretty lackluster. One gripe I have is that I wish the workers were a bit more attentive. We went on Monday and there wasn't anyone at the front desk for maybe 10minutes. They didn't have us watch the safety/instructional video which normally plays on a loop at the front of the pit gate. We had two double karts because our kids are young and we were put in a race with multiple other adults. The employees in the pit were good, one was a young lady who seemed new and a young man who obviously had much more experience. I'm on the shorter side and he recognized I needed the pedals adjusted and a booster seat. He also rechecked all our belts because the girl didn't put them on tight enough. So during our race we had to go slowly for the first lap, but then it was on! Unfortunately, I had to go slow because my daughter is small and apprehensive about the whole experience. I'm sure we were a hindrance for the faster racers, but most were very respectful and drove around us. One person in particular (an older black man who uses the name "007 Speed") hit me into the barrier 3 times and hit my husband and son's kart at least twice. He hit us with such force both of my kids have been complaining of neck pain. I told the experienced male employee but no consequences for Mr. 007 Speed even though each time he hit us they overhead announced, "No hitting other drivers or barriers. Next time you will be out of the race." When the race was done Mr. 007 Speed never acknowledged what he did or apologized. As we were leaving we saw him complaining at the front desk. So overall, I really like this place. It's geared for children and families, but definitely for anyone who wants to have fun. It would be ideal if they grouped drivers separately like they do for junior racers. Group adult racers with ones who have children/want a chill experience and a group for retirees trying to relive their glory days

Racing on that track was fun as h...... Like, we really had a blast. I was super happy they didn't police the track too much. At least not while we were racing. Anyway, we raced a few games and then moved on to the next thing which was axe throwing. I want to tell you this was like $15 pp for 30 minutes and in that 30 minutes we learned A LOT. Axe throwing isn't as easy as we thought, but the instructor walked us through it and shared in our laughter and frustration of trying to figure it out. The miniature golf room was crazy. A lot of crazy characters (aliens, etc.) under a black light they it glows in there. I loved the holes though. Very creative. The wolf behind the wall scared me half to death, lol, but it was too fun being in there with my family. This place has great prices for the races ( we did 3 for $68) + a head cover ($5) per person. No membership required for basic races and I loved that. The staff was super friendly, all but one... but 1 out of 5 is good odds. We didn't get a chance to hit the arcade, but we'll be back. We were informed that adults are NOT allowed on the second story of the play structure and cannot accompany our child on the slides. Our 21 month old had to stay on the first floor the whole visit. She started getting upset that we wouldn't allow her to follow the other kids up to the slides. I asked an employee why we couldn't go down the slides with our daughter and she said per new ownership, they changed the rules. Except recent videos (as of today) on social media of people advertising this place show adults going down the slides. We also witnessed adults walking around the top floors with their kids and going down the slides. It seems that the rules aren't applicable to everyone. Tons of balls in the ball pit were deflated, the ball cannon shooters were not working and that's pretty much all there is to do if you stay on the ground floor. Older kids can play in the ball pit and it's simply way too small for that. My daughter was terrified of the older kids running and jumping into the pit around her. It was a rainy day outside and very crowded. I asked one of the floor workers if she could turn on the giant overhead fan to help move some air around since it was very muggy and warm and she said she had to ask the owner first. She even admitted she was getting hot as well. 20 minutes went by and it was never turned on. I guess it doesn't work? Not sure why you need to ask the owner for permission to turn on a fan. The layout could use a little rearranging. It's a cool concept, just not executed nearly as well as others with the same idea. For the price, $40-ish for two adults to accompany their toddler, it's absolutely not worth it. We won't be returning. Also keep in mind, if you order tickets and sign the waiver ahead of time, you'll still have to wait in line behind people who didn't. Just one person in front of us with one child took 15 minutes to buy their tickets and sign the waiver. Once we were checked in which took less than 5 minutes, the line was out the door. There are also no lockers to safely put your belongings in, just open cubby's.
