I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. She had no problem handling the rules of the house in that regard. Also, our dog is a rescue - he was neglected and abused before we came across him, so he doesn't trust people readily. She was not intimidated at all and, although he was a bit wary at first, she soon buttered him up. In addition to being clear about who was the alpha, she gave him great rub-downs - after years of neglect, he really needs a lot of affection in order to trust people. She clearly had a natural grasp of canine hierarchy and dog mentality and once she got him to trust her, she even started to offer him some obedience training. He always ended up very orderly after an afternoon with her. My fiance and I were very pleased! We, and our four cats and dog, highly recommend this great dogwalker and petsitter!

She's our baby, and the thought of being away from her for so long had my husband and me both anxious. Thankfully, we found Canine Corner, and from the moment we walked in, we knew she was in loving, capable hands. The team at Canine Corner went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. They were kind, patient, and completely understanding of how hard it is to leave your pup behind. Every update we got while we were away reassured us that Sadie was having an amazing time -- and judging by how she pulls us toward their door every time we walk by, I think it's safe to say she had a blast! I especially want to thank Lucas, who truly went the extra mile for us. We were stuck in terrible traffic on our way back into the city and were panicked we wouldn't make it in time to pick up Sadie before closing. It sounds dramatic, but we went from pretty much loathing our daily existence to loving it because of Hadley's special talent with our little rescue, Pixel. Pixel (a chi-mix from sunny CA) had never been great with other dogs or new people and was having a hard time adjusting to life in the big city, what with real winter, crowds of people, and an aggressively noisy doggie daycare situation, all of which left her frazzled and freaked out. Enter Hadley, who lovingly, patiently brought Pixel around to thriving in pack walks and overall becoming more trusting with new dogs and people. (Pixel even was able to nurture a little crush on a Basenji mix, apparently.) Hadley recognized Pixel's unique situation and even took her for solo morning walks that Pixel absolutely loved and needed and sometimes brought Pixel along for the full day to spend more quality time together. Hadley was always reliable and communicative, and we looked forward to coming home to clever, informative notes about Pixel's day. And then there are the Instagram pix. Hadley somehow makes you and your doggie feel like a celebrity every single day. I would like to express huge thanks and admiration to Hadley and the Dandy Dogwalker crew. Even implementing changes in gear and protocol when our trainer made suggestions for helping Penny acclimate to the scary noises of the big city (she's an Alabama girl). When Penny was scared in reaction to the change of having Giancarlo substitute walk for Khamara, Giancarlo was so great with taking notes from our trainer to ease the transition and get Penny more comfortable and calm. I would absolutely recommend entrusting your pups to these folks for daily walking needs. They are insured and scheduling Wales is very easy.

I've been using these folks for about 5 years and they are the BEST, taking excellent care of first my adult special-needs dog and then my rambunctious puppy (which they socialized beautifully!). Nancy runs a tight ship, and France, her incredible dispatcher, never misses a beat. The walkers are highly reliable. Altogether a winning team. Taking a minute to leave a yelp review as I noticed there are only very old posts here on yelp…read more I've been using OTBAD for about 7 months now and it's been such a good experience I want others to know so business stays afloat! This will be long- if you don't feel like reading take a look at my pics instead! If you have a dog- you know what it means when they look like they actually have a dog smile on!! My dog always has one when she's out with OTBAD! Now the review- For her first 5 years of life, our dog, Bernie, went to a doggie daycare M-F while we were at work. She loved it and was a much happier and better socialized doggie because of it! But then the pandemic came and working from home, for less income came! So spending money on pricey doggie daycare was out! After a couple years without it though, we noticed that she was declining in terms of social skills and quite frankly was under stimulated with only being at home with us and our usual walk breaks. So, I started trying out less expensive options than full on doggie daycare. I tried a couple other dog walking companies and was underwhelmed. Discovered OTBAD and decided to try one last company! SO VERY GLAD we did! It's simple, straightforward booking, and very reasonably priced. For her walks I chose the 1hr "social" walk option so that she is paired with one other dog. I had no idea how adorable this would be. It's better socializing than at a doggie daycare! Instead of a room filled with a sensory overload of loud barking dogs, it's one-on-one and outdoors. They took time to assess my dog's temperament and personality and paired her with complimentary dogs in the neighborhood. Over the past 7 months there has been about 4-5 different dogs she sees regularly. She gets so excited to stop at their nearby houses to pick them up it's honestly the sweetest thing. She has more friends in TriBeCa now than we do haha Bernie is the type of dog that LOVES people and mostly just tolerates dogs so this change in her has been great to see. She loves these dogs and now even has an interest in random dogs on the street when I'm walking her. But, most importantly- the walkers themselves have been amazing. Her most common walkers are Caspian, Nicole, and Nicholas and they are so good with her. Even her occasional "non-regulars" have been great. They switch it up to keep her stimulated and also get her energy out- sometimes her hour session includes walking, sometimes a park with tennis ball time etc. I really appreciate the little things they do like wiping her paws before coming back inside, taking off their own shoes, etc. It's the little things when you can trust the walkers both inside your home and outside with your dog! I never have any trust issues whatsoever. And, lastly as someone still working from home in a tiny apartment the walkers all "get it". They come in to get Bernie and are happy to talk for a brief min or quickly make themselves scarce and exit quietly if I'm on a call or even in the bathroom for instance. Same thing when they drop her back off- they adjust accordingly if I'm home or not! Overall, it's been such a great experience. I wish I had found them years ago as it's a much more affordable option than full-on doggie daycare and after 7 months of consistent use I'd argue it's actually better in terms of socializing and exercising your dog! The one hour sessions is more than enough to keep her stimulated and well-socialized as she ages! Thank you OTBAD for treating Bernie with such great care as if she was your own dog :)
