I'm writing this after 9 days of lies and back and forth. I ordered some diamond earrings on Dec 11th for store pickup. UPS "misplaced" the package on the 13th, which we all know means it was stolen. After confirming with UPS on the 17th that the package is not on any truck and is nowhere in their facility, I was told to contact the sender to start a claim. When I called Zales the first time I was told to go to the store to have this taken care of and they were emailing the manager. I now see was the first lie they told to get me off the phone. When I reached the store I was told that there is nothing they can do since this was an online order and they received no such email. I immediately called customer service again and was told this case would be escalated on Friday the 20th. No call or email so I called again Tuesday Dec 24th. At this point I knew there was no way I was going to get the gift I order for Christmas and would have to scrounge up what money I had to find something so my loved one could open anything Christmas morning. I was told after waiting on hold for a supervisor that their Tracing team was in contact with UPS and would email and call me that day. To no surprise I got nothing, no call, no resolution just a ruined Holiday and yet another middle finger from this company. I can only imagine how horrible of an experience it would be getting them to honor their warrantees, and such. I will NEVER do business with this company. There is no customer appreciation, or customer service to speak of. I've dealt with other companies and these issues are always resolved same day if not within 48 hours. Save your time and money. I didn't know I was going to buy jewelry when I passed Zales by during their sale. I was looking for a way to build my credit quickly after a bankruptcy and wasn't quite sure about purchasing a new car yet. Jewelry consultant, Larry Capoutch, took the time with me to show me what they had and made a fun experience for me. Much to my surprise I actually qualified for $3,000 of Credit Card with my current credit rating that will help it grow. My monthly payments will be only about $35 a month. Horrible experience. Older Brazilian lady with dark hair "helped" me. 3 times she told me the sales price marked in the case was wrong and the price was actually higher. I kept pushing her why the prices are higher and she said they forgot to change the tags. I went online while there and found the prices marked are exactly what they should be. I confronted her and she was very condescending to me. Will NEVER Support this establishment and this woman should be canned for inflating their prices. read more

came in and told them my budget,, i am in sales for 10 years... lady with long black hair said she was from Brazil, took me to look at items that were 3 times over my budget. Two minutes later she said i can give you a better deal just let me get your info. After asking me for my name and my email and everything else i just turned around and left. Will go online and buy it, its way cheaper plus if anything i will just bring it right back to eden prairie store so they can deal with it. read more

I went into Zales to upgrade my wedding ring and I found the ring I was looking for . They invited me to a ring event that was 50 percent off . When I went to the event they told me that my ring I picked out wasn't sold when I arrived at the store they told me is WAS sold I was disgusted !!! Not only does there customer service suck but it's a bunch of old people with no personality's RETIRE !!!! . The environment will make u feel uncomfortable read more

I sent this to Zales for action - Not where I would spend my jewelry money!!!!!!!! Great staff - but a manager named John that has an attitude and really needs a lesson in customer service. Was being helped by a terrific, young associate with little knowledge but we were having fun. With my wife, found a terrific $299 bracelet in a 3 bracelet display with this one listed for $299. I said I'll take it - was only a matter of minutes making the buy. Associate was thrilled. She was new so had another older woman associate ring it up. When the total came up on the CC screen I noted a $329 price in lieu of the $299 on the display. I questioned. The manager said its $329. I said the display clearly says $299. He said the display is wrong and you will pay the $329. I said I don't really care about the money, it's the attitude I could do without. The older woman associate was a little embarrassed bu the mistake and his reaction. She said don't worry I'll take 10% off to clear the issue up. The snarky manager said you will not do this - they do not allow this anymore. I again said - the money s not the issue. Your attitude is the problem. I said I have had enough and I will go elsewhere to buy this bracelet. Great learning experience for this brand new associate. She had a bright future but I sure would think twice about a career with a leader like John. Just thought you should know who you have leading the customer service front lines of your stores. Absolutely do not go to this store. They have a Brazilian sales woman who is so pushy and chatty, its downright weird and bizarre. Got pressured into buying a ring I didn't really want (granted, I ended up buying it, my fault) but on top of it, she sized me wrong, the ring showed up way too big, I got the ring the day before an overseas vacation so couldn't deal with the issue right away, by the time I got back and took the ring back to be sized, they told me it would now cost almost a hundred dollars to have it resized! Never, never again. Do NOT go to this store for any significant purchase and bring a friend to shield you from the crazy saleslady. read more

This store is a joke. My husband bought my engagement ring from here in the beginning of the year. He told me he went to pick up my ring from when he ordered it online (Cheaper price) the Brazilian woman told him she "couldn't" find my ring in the store and pushed for him to buy a new more EXPENSIVE one. Luckily, he didn't give in to her obnoxious sales pitch he described so she went back to "look" again for my ring and all of a sudden she "found" it. I completely refuse to go to this location solely because of one of your overly pushy employees. She has long dark hair and an accent. Every time I go I am pressured into buying something, even when I came in to get my ring SIZED. We ALREADY purchased something and she wanted more! I'm in sales as my profession and I get it, meeting numbers and commission checks and whatnot but from now on we will be buying any future purchases somewhere else. read more

I found the ring I wanted on the website from the Vera Wang Love collection. Went to this store to see what they looked like. I read the reviews before I left home and was very happy when I walked in and Rodney asked if he could help me. I showed him the first ring that I was interested in. The Brazilian worker came over to "assist" and pretty much pushed Rodney out of the process. Immediately the female worker started pushing a higher priced collection and their credit card. I pick the original ring I wanted and she told me she will match the internet price. I gave her my phone and showed her the price. Twice she came back with a higher price. I nicely told her I would order it from the internet for the lower cost. The third time she still gave me a higher price. I asked for my phone back and proceeded to tell her I wouldn't buy anything from her! Horrible experience! Be like me and shop elsewhere! read more
