My husband and I are renewing our vows in 2015 and decided that we would purchase new rings for the ceremony. We began researching different stores to do business with and originally Wedding Day Diamonds was not one we selected to browse. After being in Maple Grove for other errands we seen the store and contemplated whether we should stop in. I hesitated initially as we were dressed in sweat pants and sporting the "non showered" look. As we pulled around back to park and go into the store I said to my husband, "I think we should come back a different day when we don't look so grubby!" We spent approximately 3 hours in the store that day and explained we didn't want to wear the "new" rings until we have our ceremony in 2015 and were trying to get a budget together and save for them. Natalie was nothing short of fun, professional, kind, and sweet in dealing with us. She answered all our questions and even spent time educating my husband on diamonds and showing us loose stones and giving us variety and options. We selected rings and put a loose stone on layaway after giving careful consideration to their warranty policy. After visiting many, many jewelry stores searching for engagement rings, my husband discovered Wedding Day Diamonds. Later, when we went together to add the bands to my engagement ring and pick out a wedding band for him, I understood why he spoke so highly of his experience there. This was the first place my fiancé and I went ring shopping. It just happened to be close to where we were meeting my brother for lunch so we decided to check it out quick. We went in and were greeted by their friendly sales staff and offered a beverage. Natalie and Mindy showed us the types of rings my fiancé was interested in and did not pressure us in anyway. They asked me the budget I had for the ring and diamond did a very excellent job of only showing my fiancé the diamonds that were within my price range. Since we had never gone ring shopping anywhere else, we did not know how good we had it with Wedding Day Diamonds until we went to Jared nearby. They were extremely high pressure, showed us rings I could never afford, and instantly wanted to sign me up for financing. We went back to Wedding Day Diamonds and were more than happy to give them our business . My fiancé hinted that she was happy with a ring she picked out if we could remove the "peak-a-boo" diamonds on the side of it. We live in North Dakota, but I was able to work with Natalie extensively and effectively via phone conversations and email to work out the design details of the modification. We were also able to do the financing application remotely which was awesome. I had to get the ring made and shipped quickly as I was hoping to propose to my (now) fiancé on a trip we were taking only two weeks from when I put in the ring order. Natalie busted her butt to make that happen and I am extremely grateful that she and the rest of the Wedding Day Diamond staff and designers were able to make that happen. They even shipped the ring UPS overnight without any additional charges! We will definitely be coming back to Wedding Day Diamonds for future purchases as they have an excellent sales staff in addition to a great warranty program that does not require inspections every 6 months like other jewelers. read more

After seeing him go from unsure and indecisive to being comfortable and confident in the process, I decided to visit Wedding Day of Maple Grove and meet with Natalie (as he recommended). Walking into it, I had no idea what I was looking for, what to spend, or where to start. I met with Natalie three different times over a two-month stretch and she guided me through the entire process. She not only showed me options that matched my girlfriend's personality and style, but also respected my budget from start to finish. After finding the perfect band, we began looking at diamonds. We looked at many in-store options and then Natalie had more diamonds transferred-in from other stores. She made sure to have every option in front of me and educated me on the weight, cut, color, clarity, and pricing of each diamond. Then, she let me choose the diamond based on my preferences. I had the pleasure of working with Mindy Lemley! She was extremely helpful and patient with me. Changed my mind so many times maybe I rushed myself into buying a diamond... I called in and canceled my order and Mindy was very understanding and understood what I was going through and helped me reevaluate my decision! I've visited many different jewelery stores but found Wedding Day to be the most comfortable store where I didn't feel pressured. I knew exactly the style of ring I wanted but the diamond was a different story. when i set out to buy my fiance an engagement ring i thought i had covered all of the bases. and i thought i was making the right choice by going to JARED for her ring. well i couldnt have been more dissapointed needless to say the ring got returned. After hearing all of the comercials on the radio i figured i would check out the Wedding Day Diamonds store in Maple Grove MN. when i first walked into the store I was welcomed with open arms and with a picture on my phone from pintrest of what i wanted we set out to find one like it in the store. After a bit of looking there was nothing to be found that would do so they told me that they can have any thing made. so by simply emailing my picture to their custom ring maker the process was set into motion. then i had one more bomb to drop on them since Jared had already failed me and an engagement plan already in motion i had to tell them i needed it in two weeks. well believe it or not they came threw with the most beautiful oring and i can say with confidence that my bride to be has the only one in the world. i have nothing but great things to say about the staff at the maple grove store when ever we show up they know exactly who we are and are always more than happy to see us. The other places weren't personable and I didn't feel like they cared about the opinions I had about what I wanted in a ring and the details it would possess. Natalie at Wedding Day helped us pick out the perfect engagement ring and diamond! I couldn't be more pleased. We got engaged in July and it still sparkles like no other. Not just for wedding jewelery. Although a long time customer, a recent purchase has confirmed my past experiences with Wedding Day Jewelers. I stopped in to have my wife's wedding / engagement ring cleaned and inspected. While I was waiting, for which I have always been promptly helped I inquired about a mother's ring. I detailed how I wanted it to match the wedding band with an inlay of gemstones between the diamonds and wondered how I would go about that. Chris could not have made the process easier! She helped me custom design the ring and worked with their jeweler to produce a cad rendering prior to production of the ring. From the initial order to when I picked it up was just under 30 days - much quicker than I would have anticipated, especially during the holiday shopping season. All throughout the process Chris quickly got back to me on any questions or concerns I had. Price was excellent, quality of the ring was unbelievable, and the service impeccable! I am writing this review for an employee at the Maple Grove Wedding Day Diamonds. Mindy Lemley was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so helpful and truely wanted to make our experience the best it could be. I bought the engagement ring for my fiancee when Mindy worked at the Bloomington store. She wasn't pushy at all and took the time to find out what my fiancee wanted in a ring. She didn't get bored with her trying on a bunch of rings. Mindy could also tell when my fiancee found "the ring" even before my fiancee knew it. Unfortunately at first the ring was just too much for my budget, but Mindy wanted to get my fiancee the rong that she loved. Mindy found an old display ring of the same style that I ended up getting for nearly 50% off. Because of Mindy's help my fiancee got the ring that she fell in love with. When my fiance and I first started seriously started thinking about getting engaged we began our search for engagement rings at Wedding Day in Bloomington. The staff there and the laid back atmosphere was fantastic. My (now) wife and I went to the Maple Grove location to pick out my wedding band and we had assistance from the moment we walked in the door. We had at least one person helping us the entire time, and often had another come over to help offer personal and professional opinions (which we ask for, and valued). I found a wood grain band I really liked and ordered it promptly. When I received the ring it was apparent that it was lighter in color and a quite a bit more grainy than the display model. That makes sense since each wood grain band is unique, no two the same. The staff were eager to make some phones calls and sent the display model along with my band back to the manufacturer, asking them to match the two as best they could. We bought our engagement ring at Wedding Day in Burnsville and it was great. Since then we are in a different location so I ahve been in contact with the Maple Grove location about my setting. It is wearing weird and I am not ahppy with it. When i called they were so wonderful and they literally no questions asked said I can return it for a new setting. I am about 6-weeks from the 1-yr. I have not yet gone through the return process but I was just so impressed with how friendly they were in regards to my issues. I work in high end retail sales so for me this type of service is important when you're dealing with large purchases.
