Passed by around 11:30 and no one was there , thought it may be closed but there was an open sign so I stopped in around 1:00 pm on my way home. The place looks like it did when I was a child 40 years ago and the bathroom hasn't been remodeled since for sure. I always judge a place by their bathroom, so I took a few pictures..... I'll say the sandwich was ok but really skimpy , really , really skimpy as you can see. I realize why I never stop here and I would never ever bring my wife here. I do not know how The Perk does it but with the crowd they have, they get the meals out quickly. Competitive pricing. Owners visits around making sure everyone is enjoying their meal. We ordered two Philly cheesesteak and one chicken cheesesteak. We were asked if we wanted "fried onions" and well it the same as grilled onions and not like an onion ring, just FYI. The chicken did not have much flavor but adding the peppers they give you it adds some and my mom enjoyed it. The cheesesteak was good too but also the steak was a bit flavorless. The sandwich is big and you need to ask to be cut in half, they just give it to you whole. It gets busy and they only accept cash. They do have an ATM machine on site if needed. Parking is on the street and not bathroom that I saw. This would be a place I come back but I'll bring some salt and pepper with me.
