My complaint is the NE 36th location. I went here on Thursday March 4th and did an upgrade on a…read morephone. The big sign on the door says masks are required. I never go in without a mask and when I see establishment not following through, I complain but for some reason I did not have my mask on and when I panicked the lady said it was ok. I went to get my mask. Afterwards I noticed the other worker did not have on her mask and when her daughter came in, she did not either. I explained when looking for the phone I wanted one with a good camera and later mentioned storage. I have 128g now and my phone is full. The phone for the upgrade was $99. The non mask worker gave me the sack and my receipt was in there. I made the mistake by not looking at the receipt especially after them saying my total was $178 I asked why was it so much, the no mask worker was more like the manager, she said it was transfer fee, tax and other fees. When my card would not go through she said she added a saving plan and it dropped the price to $163. Later when she handed me my phone she said I gave you a case and it sparkles. It was a case that I would not pick out but my teenage daughter would. Since it was free, I did not complain. Later that evening I looked at the receipt and saw that I was actually changed for the case. I went back the masked worker started out helping and the nonmasker stepped in like she did that day. She said when she deducted the price down, that is money she have to eat up she then went on to explain she gave me the case but have to show it on the receipt and the -50 was the case and the other fee refund. I think because I was looking like I came from the gym, they did not know I was educated enough to know the -50 was off the phone. She then asked did I not want the case and she pretended that she refunded it and it would show up on my card in a couple of days. As of 5 days later, no refund. She also kept saying the phone was 64g and I'm showing her the box says 32g she did a fast talk trying to explain and I left it at that until I contacted BoostMobile and I went to another location to confirm as well. I called explaining everything to the GM, Mr. Sam. He gave no issues with me being able to return. Went last night and the mask worker was there. She had Mr. Sam on walking her through the refund. I told her to ask if she could give my refund for the case, she told him I wanted a refund on the case I bought, I explained, I did not buy it, y'all put it on being tricky. After the refund, I asked for a receipt to prove the refund went through. She said they don't have receipt for that but my entire purchase, case, phone and extra fees was refunded. Well today only $87 was refunded My advice is to always look at your receipt. I hate that these young ladies were so dishonest. This makes for bad business in our community. I should not be charged for restocking or the transfer fee because they sold me something I did not want. I am out of about $80 for something I did not ask for! I only chose a star because twas forced to!
