I accidentally broke my husband's ps5 hdmi outlet thing while vacuuming and he called here to get a price to fix it. The price was the same as other places we called but we decided to go to them, and dropped off the ps5 around 12 and they called for us to pick it up around 4! We were so surprised that it was fixed that fast. And it truly is working now! The guy that answered the phone was helpful and knew what he was talking about when we asked questions. And we didn't have to pay until it was done, and it was the exact price that was said on the phone, not more for some stupid reason they probably could've said. BEWARE - The "Bait-n-Switch" is STRONG w/this 1! So, as I always do, I read the reviews and wanted to give them a fair shot thinking to myself that perhaps some of the reviews were just by people who'd had a bad day, or didn't seek clarity through a phone call to the store before going in. I was wrong . . . I can confirm that, as of mid December 2023, the reviews that essentially call this place a snake in the grass for a "bait-n-switch" style of purchasing used items, they are correct. I'm a freshman at OSU, just wrapped up my first semester and was needing a little extra cash for bills as this first semester was more expensive than I'd budgeted for. I called them up, asked how it works, and explained about my XBOX 1s being in great working order free from stains and damage, and that I had planned on doing the most recent update, then factory wiping it but wanted to ask before doing so. I asked about cost and said I had 2 good working controllers, the HDMI & power cords, and charging stands. They informed me they would pay $90 for the unit +1 controller, then an additional $20 for the second controller. At the end of the phone call, I EXPLICITLY asked, "Is there anything else I need to know regarding a transaction like this??"; they said no. I drove 1hr20min from Stillwater to their NW location in OKC to have them tell me that, due to the "Start" & "Select" buttons on 1 controller being not too responsive (which is bs because I tested EVERYTHING before leaving), and there being "too much 'drift'" in the thumb sticks of the other, they would only give me $45. $45?!?!?, the controller is HALF THE PRICE of the unit itself?!! I was appalled. I argued for a minute with them but they didn't seem to care either way. So I said, "Ahhhh, I SEE how you make your money here...don't worry, it won't happen to me or anyone I know ever again. Bet on that. Just gimme the $45 and I'm out." That being said, I personally warn ANYONE against selling them anything! You're much better off just posting it on eBay, FB Marketplace...hell, sell it to a friend, neighbor, or family member. Hold onto it and trade it in for store credit at GameExchange or GameStop! Don't get suckered by this company...but they WILL at least do it with a smile lol (not that that makes it any better...) Sold us 1 working Samsung J7 phone and 1 crappy one that would not connect to AT&T's network. The only other J7 phone they had for exchange had a badly cracked screen. Would not allow an in-store credit. Would only offer to replace the phone with another phone, and the only other phone comparable to the one I bought just happens to be the one with the cracked screen. Only other option to spend still more money on a phone not guaranteed to work either. This store has a rigid cell phone policy with no room for customer satisfaction. Out $150 for a paperweight that I can't use. Chaglking it up as a lesson learned. Was going to buy an Xbox, some gaming gear and games, and some posters for our home. CDR, I hope the cell phone is worth the lost sales. BTW, I always tell others about both positive and negative experiences with any place of business. I bought a game and they told me I could exchange it if I brought it back in two weeks, I brought it back to exchange it for another game cus it was crap, and they wouldnt accept the return. We went there to sell an iPhone 7+ but the guy told us he couldn't buy it because the back of the phone "looked like the case had molded itself to the phone" but there were no cracks or scratches just scuff marks. So we ended up taking it to the CDR on the other side of town and sold it for $260. So if ya actually want to sell something I'd take it to the one on the I-240 service road. read more

They got rid of their clearance bin, so now there's basically no chance that I'll ever go in just to browse. You can basically count on the price range of used new releases, so maybe I'll occasionally stop by to get something specific. I used to stop by on my way home just to see what was on clearance, and on most of the time I'd leave with a handful of blurays and games that were a mix of clearance and regularly priced, but those days are over. I'm going to give this place a life expectancy of a couple more years. read more

I went to CDR to purchase a few phones but ended up just getting one. The two people that helped were oddly rude. I was gonna get the iphone6 but my daughter told me its not a good idea bc of speed time. No big deal I was just gonna get a 7 or higher. Well the associate this white guy with long hair and long bread and black nails jumps in the convo and says that's not true, and my daughter stated she had one and they are pretty slow, plus she worked for Apple and they tested slow. Mind you she was talking to me not him.He then jumped back in the convo and and argued his point and stated he worked there bf and they were great phones. He went back and forth a few times, which was odd bc why would he. I was still gonna buy a phone just not that one. I had to finally tell him ima look around and if I needed him ill call him over. The behavior was odd and unwarranted. So we decided on a phone and a black girl came to help this time. Thinking she would be nicer.... I mean I'm giving you a sale and I wasn't rude at all. She asked could she help I told her yes I want to buy xyz phone and she pulls it out and hands it to me, I'm ok I will buy it and pay with a card. She says ok you gotta swipe over there, but then got an attitude bc we had the phone in our hand.. Saying very rude I need that phone back to scan it, which I understand but don't be rude about it. We go to pay and she's just looking at me. She doesn't say a total until I ask. Odd who stands there and don't say ok your total is and you can swipe when you're ready. Well, then I canceled the sales by accident and once again shes just looking at me. Mind you, I thought I pushed accept payment. So I finally say are we good and she like oh I'm waiting for you.... She was just rude, and her shirt was dirty and all unbutton and wrinkled. She didn't even look presentable at all. But then I noticed another girl I think she was white she was short with blond and black hair I think. She was rude to the lady she was helping. This store location won't ever get money from me again and Ima tell all my friends and family. I guess the store doesn't care about customer service. I live in this area and always come here and so does my whole family and never had that experience. Maybe some training needs to be had or new people should be hired. At the end of the day yall need our money, so act like it. Everyone seemed like they didn't want to work there and didn't care if they got a sale or not. I've brought 2 different XBOXs in here on 2 different occasions to sell them. Both times they acted annoyed to help me and look for any reason to not buy the XBOX. If it is not brand new out of the box they will give you a hard time. They don't seem to understand they are buying used items. Both consoles I brought in were in great condition and I was only selling them because I upgraded. They only bought one of the consoles I brought in and only after taking 30 minutes to literally wipe it off.
