It was a little wait, but nothing too crazy. The prices are very good, I am used to South Florida's high prices for Caribbean food so I was definitely shocked at how cheap the food was. The food was seasoned very good, it was very flavorful. I definitely enjoyed it, the griot could've had more meat, the pieces I had were mainly fat. Definitely will be trying other dishes here.

We ordered one of each and asked if we could order conch fritters and the manager had no idea what I was talking about. She asked to see a picture of it and I showed her. She then said they didn't have it and a minute later said let me check and never returned with an answer. As we waited we asked a few questions and she really didn't know the answer to any of them. She gave us weird looks. We waited for about 25 minutes even though she told me the food was ready over the phone. There is another picture on here that says the lunch special is $5, but we ended up paying $7 per plate. The food was not very good. The griot was tough and not very tasty. The chicken was dry and tasted old. The pickliz was not fresh and didn't have good flavor. The rice was decent. The tostone was good. The gravy given on the side was very good. Overall, I have to say, we won't be returning.
