So my wife…read moresuggested a place she and her friend went to a few years ago, but she couldn't remember the name so we drove down Indian River Dr and she saw Mo Bay Grill and she said that's the place. I guess because of the time we were the only ones there. We were with our grandson too just the three of us. The were told by Johnny the waiter to sit anywhere we wanted. The place is beautifully decorated with artwork and the view of the intercostal is breathtaking. I was a little worried at first that our 16 year old grandson might not like anything on the menu since he is a little bit picky. He then pointed out the angus cheese burger with fries under the sandwich section to my relief. So that's what he ordered. My wife ordered the crab cake burger that she ordered years ago with fries and coleslaw. I ordered the grouper sandwich with Mo Bay seasoning lightly blackened and it has grilled onions, lettuce and tomato with a special sauce on the side. It came two sides also I chose the cucumber salad and didn't want coleslaw or fries so Johnny said how about a double cucumber salad. I said sounds. We also ordered an appetizer of plantains and it comes with sour cream which I never had them with but they were delicious! My grouper sandwich I'm pretty sure was the best one I've ever had. It was moist, juicy and incredibly delicious. Also the cucumber salad I can say one of the best cucumber salads I've ever had too. My wife was very happy with her crab cake sandwich and fries. And my grandson advised me later that his angus cheese burger was better than the angus cheese burgers that I made for him last night. I'm glad it was his birthday lunch. Johnny the our waiter was constantly checking on us and keeping our dinks full. I did have the crab bisque soup but a tad spicy for me. Portions are very filling and prices are very reasonable. This will be our go to place when visiting Sebastian. Maybe even the destination.

The sweet potatoes were amazing. Service was very friendly and we even talked after dinner for a few minutes. Nice family friendly place for dinner.

The food was seasoned very good, it was very flavorful. I definitely enjoyed it, the griot could've had more meat, the pieces I had were mainly fat. Definitely will be trying other dishes here.

If you can't take any heat the double is sweet and mild is a good place to start but the spicy one is where it's at. It has amazing heat and flavor (about a 3/5 if you are someone who can enjoy some scotch bonnet pepper) the boneless chicken was tender and juicy. The roti was perfectly prepped, nice and hot. The accidentally prepared me the bone in, which i think was dark meat and more of what i prefer, but the bones were too small for me to fight through and so glad they didn't mind fixing me a plate of boneless without any issues. The beef stew was my absolute fav. The flavor was delicious and it was very tender. The rice and sauce was seasoned very well and came with a side salad. The price is the best part. We order two drinks mango and hibiscus juice and they were also delicious. (The hibiscus juice had a hint of ginger in it that some could mistake for a spicy taste) Everything was amazing! Got to talking to the owners son, Kind folks that moved down from NY an about 3 years ago to bring some original love and relaxation to the neighborhood. The soca music was a vibe too. Very homey spot. I was recommended by a fellow Vet friend they seem to know very well and thankful for their amazing hospitality. Will definitely will be coming again many more times to try everything new. I was so excited to see they had pholorie but been craving Linda's eggball (i know it's Guyanese dish) I'm hoping one day i can have them make it for me one day bc i can't seem to find it anywhere else. Or maybe I'll just order some phorlorie and make my own eggs at home? I'll try them out next visit
