    Pulled Pork

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Solid customer service, the place is mesmerizing because of the bbq flavors, decor and appealing dining with comfort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is worth continuing to get locally, but damn good. It's under new management I guess, but as I see it's only going to continue in the way it needs to be to get even killer bbq! Best wishes and I will be back! Ps. I gobbled the brisket sandwich and forgot a pic!!

Brisket and pulled pork with Mac and cheese and coleslaw .

I had to look at the other reviews because I don't know what this place isn't 5 starts . It was everything I was hoping for and more , it's going to be tough to come up with some negatives . Everything was so positive. I ordered the 2 meat meal with brisket and pulled pork , if had this identical meal a few times the last few weeks so I got a fresh reminder on what it's suppose to be . The brisket was moist , flavorful with just the right amount of fat , that's where the flavor comes from . And a good amount . The pulled pork looks like it came right off the pig , again a little fatty, and not processed . All different size fresh pieces . I am a brisket fan but the pulled pork gave it a run for the money ! Also a good amount . I got sides of Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Now I always rant about coleslaw at restaurants, how they give you a little scoop of coleslaw and call it a side . Well there sides are for two ! The Mack and cheese was very good , and the coleslaw was textbook . They had 3 or 4 sauces in a little fridge , I figured out you have to help yourself and put them back when done . Digging deep to find a complaint , the water cooler was empty, the employee came over and agreed it was empty and just walked away . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ate inside because there seamed not to be any shaded area . All the picnic tables are in the direct sunlight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And their beer selection was minimal to say the least . Staff was very friendly , they brought my food out in like 10 minutes. Can't wait to go back !

As the first Yelp Elite to rate this place, I feel kinda obligated to note that many of the rest of the reviews for this place look fake or unreliable "singles". So is this place good? Absolutely. It's a cute BBQ place within spitting distance of Yankee Candle and a welcome change from chain restaurants. We were treated by a friendly counter server who took our order. We went for the simple brisket and simple pulled pork sandwiches. Neither disappointed. They weren't fatty nor were they dry. Instead they had a nice smoky flavor to them. Better yet the BBQ sauce is legit. We also really loved the fries that had a bit of a kick to them. We sat outside on a gorgeous late summer day and even saw a train speed by right next door. Worthy of a stop.

Some of the best bbq I've had in New England. The brisket Philly cheesesteak was phenomenal and we really enjoyed the creative beer selection. The Mac & cheese was just okay but everything else on the menu was delicious!

I was in the area and looked on here for a quick place to eat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was really cute and homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was awesome, the chicken was huge and super flavorful and the mac and cheese was super creamy. You can either order at the front counter or with the QR code on the tables from your phone.

Each Wednesday it seems they have special flavor of Wing as well .. Of course I was naturally drawn to the place with the name Bubs... My white HHR name is Bubs . Bubs the tank. Lol So finally I made the leap of food faith and met up with Tim and another friend Jon as well. It's about 50ish mins from my house and it's Soo worth it .. For 10 dollars I got 15 wings .. but it gets better .. Bubs provides all you can eat (3 plate max) sides buffet. Cold and hot. I lovee the collard greens. Also I tried some pickled veggies and coleslaw. ( Kept it more low carb). Also I normally get sauce on the side and I decided to try the bacon maple sauce. And the special Alfredo sauce as well. Which everything was beyond good. I think this has been the best deal for the amount of food around. I will be returning on Wednesdays and Friday has smoked Prime Rib special as well. The place itself is charming BBQ themed hole in wall. Def loving the vibe.

Maybe it's because I'm from Texas and my standards are really high, but everything from the potato salad to the pulled pork needed salt. The pulled pork wasn't even pulled - just chopped. $14 for that was also on the high end too.

I first visited these guys when they were operating out of a small barn, and seeing the evolution to this 53,000 sq ft, $18.5M facility is seriously impressive. They follow a "direct-to-consumer" model -- selling everything right out the front door -- and they've mastered it. I've been here many times over the years and go whenever I have the opportunity, which says everything. Tried some of their standout beers -- King Julius is the gold standard, consistently ranked among the best beers in the world. Their flagship Julius is just as impressive, with massive notes of mango and peach -- incredibly well balanced and executed. There are usually food trucks on site, which adds to the experience -- you can enjoy a fresh pour while picking up your take-home haul. Fun fact: On BeerAdvocate's all-time Top 250 list, Tree House often has 30+ beers featured, something almost no other brewery can match. Overall, some of the best beers anywhere -- truly unparalleled and absolutely worth the visit. Saluti.

I'm a fan of meatloaf, but for this evening, I chose to stick with their staples and thus, the Baby Back Ribs plus my sides of chili and mac n cheese arrived soon upon our table. The Ribs were quite nearly fall-off-the-bone, moist and flavorful - I enjoyed slathering the ribs in the default BBQ sauces in squeeze bottles on our long dining table. PRO TIP: My compatriots who ordered the beef brisket found it dry and not to their liking. Maybe it was just that night.. who knows.. Either way, I wouldn't mind coming back.. I've spent a…read morelifetime standing in line at legendary smokehouses, watching pitmasters tend post oak fires through the night, and judging brisket by its bark before I ever take the first bite. So, I'll admit, I approached a barbecue restaurant north of the Mason-Dixon Line with equal parts curiosity and skepticism. What first caught my eye at Wildwood Barbeque was the stack of firewood out back. That always gets a Texan's attention. I never spotted a traditional offset smoker, though. Walking through the front door, I picked up the unmistakable aroma of hickory, and maybe a touch of apple smoke, which immediately put my senses on high alert. A glance toward the kitchen revealed one of those modern hybrid smoker ovens. Purists may debate them, but at the end of the day the food is what matters. One look at the menu made it clear Wildwood isn't trying to be a bare-bones barbecue joint. It's a full-fledged Southern restaurant serving burgers, po'boys, salads, sandwiches, Cajun favorites, comfort food, and smoked meats. Before I even ordered, though, my eyes wandered to the dessert case where the cake slices looked big enough to have their own ZIP code. Around Texas, we'd simply say they're as big as a county. I kicked things off with an order of burnt ends before settling on the sweet tea-brined smoked chicken. The burnt ends arrived carrying a wonderful kiss of hardwood smoke and what tasted like a light coating of barbecue sauce. They were cut into small cubes, and while several pieces were tender and flavorful, others received too much time in the pit. The smoked chicken, however, was the star of the meal. Every bite carried the subtle sweetness of the tea brine, balanced by a well-seasoned rub that finished with just enough spice to keep things interesting. It was juicy, smoky, and thoughtfully prepared. The lone disappointment was the potato salad. As someone who's eaten just about every version served from Texas smokehouses, from mustard-based Hill Country recipes to creamy East Texas family traditions, I honestly couldn't figure out what this one was trying to be. It lacked the character and comforting simplicity that make potato salad the perfect barbecue side. Wildwood may not transport you to Lockhart, Lexington, or Taylor, but it doesn't have to. It carves out its own identity by blending Southern cooking with smoked meats, and the chicken alone is worth coming back for. Just save room for one of those Texas-sized slices of cake.
