I absolutely hit a vein directly of pure humane gold with these guys! They were so awesomely kindhearted and absolutely amazing craftsman who dealt patiently with my limited knowledge! They didn't have an ounce of pretense about themselves, their skills, or nothing, except for their inherent pride in the work they provide! These are everyday good people; hardworking, straight up and straight forward! I was so happy, impressed, and grateful for meeting and doing business with them that I even turned back around and brought them a six-pack of cold IPA beverages to help them end their day! I'm looking forward to seeing them again soon! BTW, they've got a massive collection of felled trees that came via Mother Nature's hands rather than having to harvest them from forests, or mega-brands, etc. Mighty impressive stuff! 5 jalapeños!

After pulling them from the ground and setting them aside, we realized we could see about repurposing them. Low and behold, Texas Urban Sawmill came out to our ranchette, loaded them onto their special truck, and hauled them off to Texas Urban Sawmill. As requested, they sliced each tree trunk longways in about 2 1/2 inch boards/slabs. They are BEAUTIFUL! After we let them airdry on our property for about two years (Devin explained every detail on how to do it) we are hoping to make some furniture, including a live-edge dining room table. If we find we are not skilled enough (we've never made one before) or just want a more professionally made table, we will definitely take a couple of the slabs back to Texas Urban Sawmill to have them make it. If you want your trees repurposed, be sure to call Devin and the Texas Urban Sawmill. He is very professional and easy to work with. He might even give you a tour of his "shop" including the huge sawmill. It is awesome!

Terrible quality, terrible coordination with our general contractor…read more We selected T-Square to build cabinets for our remodel after a discussion with the owner assuring us he had experience designing and building the type of laminated modern design we were looking for. Our big mistake was not asking for, and reviewing past work! Cabinets had issues with install such as interference with known adjacent door trim and ill fit into known cabinet space. Design and build of cabinets was very poor, with issues such as inconsistent door gaps and door faces, "racetrack" shelf brackets used vs drilling holes in side frames, inconstant toe kick heights, glass doors being installed with different surfaces out and in, doors that open by themselves, scrap 2x4s used as bracing inside cabinets, etc etc . The result is, after 5 years, our frustration of living with our poor decision daily has resulted in removal and replacement of the kitchen and the cabinets are on their way to Habitat for Humanity. Perhaps they will find a use in someone's garage, and T-Square will remove our project as one of his successful designs from his website.

Michael was able to turn a pencil sketch that I did into an incredibly sound and beautiful structure, which was a real feat considering all of the the limitations he had to work with. Michael has built large and small structures, some load bearing and some just enhancements to an existing design, and every time I've been more than satisfied with his rates, delivery time and quality of work. He's definitely an artist when it comes to wood, not just some guy to drive some nails into a 2x4. There was a safety issue and also it needed a "custom" touch so that furniture could be moved up and down stairs in a very tight spot. I was so thrilled at how the banister came out that I hired them to make a custom "Dutch" front door for me based on lots of pictures I'd obtained from Etsy and Pinterest. I shopped all over for a door like this and the standard Home Depot version was the only one I could find and I didn't like it. Peglars designed the most amazing door including all my "wish list" items and incorporating specialty hardware I bought off Etsy. I absolutely LOVE my front door. It was a long while to get done due to their backlog and COVID resource rework, but after the 4 hour install of everything, it looks and functions perfectly.
