Your order what you want at a kiosks in the front and then you pick up the order. Always plenty of seating and the place is clean. Good place to study or chill if you don't like noisy places. I got the burrito and it tasted great. Added some French fries in there too cause why not. The lemonade was only okay. I e had better and I pro ably wouldn't order it again though. I came back the next day and tried Crazy spice and it was a huge jump, very spicy. I could handle it but it was pushing my limits. The mashed potatoes and gravy blew my mind, amazing! The fries were decent. The cookie was average. There are a large variety of sauces that you can dip your sandwich or fries in. My mom and I found this fried chicken establishment randomly while walking to DSW from the parking structure. We were amazed at how large the interior of Zach's Chicken was. You order at a kiosk, but staff are available to answer questions and accommodate special requests. Plenty of seating inside, and you could also take your food to-go and just eat it at one of the many outdoor tables. We ordered the Hangry Zach, which comes with four tenders, some sliced pickles, and two sauces of our choice, and we added a side of fries. We requested half nonspicy and half spicy for the tenders, which they graciously honored. Tenders were crispy and meaty, definitely fried fresh. Piping hot yet not super greasy. The fries were the crinkle type, and they were kinda meh to me, maybe because they were too dry. We liked the Zach's Sauce, which is their "version of Chipotle Aioli," but the Nashville Kicker Hot Sauce was underwhelming and very watered down. Everything was a bit pricey for fast food - the total came out to over $19 for tenders and fries! Walking you are getter by kiosks, so if human interaction is your thing this might not be the place for you but I can appreciate keeping costs down and making food affordable, which I feel this place does. First, it wasn't anywhere near the map said. It is NOT near Starbucks, it's on the other side of the movie theaters. Ambiance? Industrial chic at best. It's pretty sterile from the kiosk only ordering to the steel tables. The food? Pretty good. The french fries were cooked well, and crispy without asking. They use Hunts ketchup and little packages, which is a quality, thick, tasty ketchup as such things go. I hit the no spice chicken tenders and they are crispy and hot. Located in the Metro Pointe plaza, this fast-casual eatery is at the far end of the complex. They do the popular Nashville chicken sandwich thing (although they also serve beef burgers). All ordering is done at a kiosk then you take a seat and they call your name when it's ready. A sweet and helpful young woman came out to check on me as I started to order on the kiosk to let me know she was there to help if I had any trouble and sure enough I quickly did. I thought the screen froze up but it just needed to be swiped upward. Quit laughing; I'm old and feeble minded. Lots of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating is available. I sat inside and ate my Zach's Original sandwich (two chicken tenders in a brioche bun with pickles and their secret sauce), crinkle fries, and fresh squeezed lemonade. You can order your chicken at various spice levels but I got mine at the "easy" level. Which is the same a "pretty much none". The chicken had a delicious crispy exterior and juicy, quality, white-meat chicken beneath. These were the best chicken tenders I've had. The brioche bun tried to hold up but was too fresh and soft to hold together for the duration so I was picking up pieces with my fingers before I was finished. The lemonade was superb - I really liked it and would push you to get it as your drink if you like lemonade. The fries would have been good if not mercilessly over salted. After eating several I think my tongue dried up to resemble a raisin. Instead of ketchup I got a small container of their smoky sauce for dipping which I thought was pretty tasty and lived up to its name. Zach's Chicken is a fast food spot in the South Coast Metro Pointe area. It has screens to order your own food, and people are working behind the counter to make that food. The location was kept fairly clean, the bathrooms were contemporary and relatively clean, and the drink station was easy self-serve. Very cut and dry fast food experience. I love a chicken sandwich. Like, I really love a chicken sandwich! And I was very much looking forward to trying this location. Overall, it was OK. I got the sandwich that has the kale slaw on it as well as all the fixings including pickles, and sauce. It is not a single fillet. It is chicken tenders, so there is a lot of breading added into the mix. If you're a breading fan, you will love that. For me, the chicken was OK, but a little dry, not particularly brined, or overly flavorful - which I was hoping for a little kick. The breading was a little bit on the oily side, versus the crisp and want to eat every crumb that falls off style. The kale slaw was very sweet and so was the brioche bun. I did get the risky spice because I wasn't sure of the spice levels, and it created a warm heat in the mouth but not anything additional for the flavor profile. Overall, I thought it was truly just OK. I'm not going to be coming back here anytime soon and I'm not gonna be craving it as that delicious sandwich that I always want. We approached one and generated our order: The Sloppy Zach, The Kool Zach, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Potato Salad, and last and certainly not least, French Fries. Deets, deets, deets!: - The Sloppy Zach: A fat piece of fried chicken between a brioche bun with kale slaw. Delicious. The kale slaw was surprisingly good, it had a tasty dressing and it complimented the juicy piece of fried chicken. Seems "healthy" haha. - The Kool Zach: I ordered this one Crazy Hot, and it delivered some good, bearable heat. It has ranch and Havarti cheese on it. Yummy. - Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Available for a limited time (I believe it's no longer available (?)), we just had to try it. A little too healthy for me, but it was good. I prefer fried, lol. - Potato Salad: Good, and nothing special about it. - French Fries: Just your ordinary french fries, also good with nothing special about them. I've been wanting to try this place...went for lunch on a Tuesday. Ordered ahead online and they were bagging it up as we arrived, so very punctual. The food was decent, not anything special really. I am also someone that when I order the spiciest level I hope it's actually crazy spicy, not the commercial version of "spicy." If you're looking for a super spicy sandwich, this isn't the place. Ordering is done via their app or at 1 of 3 IPAD touch screens in the restaurant. They have 3 spice levels to choose from: easy, risky, or crazy hot. I went with the Hangry Zach. Hangry Zach ($13 - 4 tenders) - The tenders here are quite a bit smaller than other Nashville chicken spots. I'd say they are about 40% smaller than the ones at Dave's. So I definitely recommend going with 4 tenders if you get 3 at the other places. The risky spice level had a nice kick to it and I went with the comeback sauce for my sauce option. What I liked about the chicken here was that it was extremely crispy. The only complaint I had was one of my 4 pieces was soggy on the bottom and didn't have much batter. Overall, I really enjoyed the chicken here and this is a great place to get one's Nashville fried chicken fix. This place has plenty of indoor seating and a parking garage next to it has complimentary parking. We have eaten at Zach's Chicken a few times and it was good. The food was hot and fresh and we loved it. We went recently and the chicken was filled with grease and was not hot like usual. My husband and I still ate it because we liked it before but this time we both got sick. I am thinking it was because of all the grease or maybe it was the temperature of the chicken. It is in a wonderful location, right by South Coast Plaza's mall and in a perfect location to relax and enjoy a beautiful, scenic meal. The sauce and kaleslaw was delicious. They have a self-order kiosk which is great for those that are indecisive or prefer not to speak to anyone while ordering. The bottom of my sandwich was surrounded by a pool of oil but it did not interfere with my experience at all. My bun wasn't soggy and the chicken itself did not feel oily. The chicken had a delightfully smoky flavor. I ordered fiery and it was enjoyable, but any heat level higher than that would have been too much for me to handle. My only qualm was that the fries and sandwich felt very salty. They have a decent house made lemonade which is perfect for balancing out extra salt.
