My daughter paid $50 for a birthday gift card for me to get a pedicure. At checkout- I was told at first that this gift card was for a different place. Then as I showed her the transaction number and card purchase information- I was told I would have to pay for it because the card isn't working. I went in for mani and Pedi. I got the added on Pedi pkg for 50 which included foot massage and callus removal. The man who did MJ mani and Pedi was extremely sick he was coughing and had to stop every few minutes to go to back to hawk up the nastiness in his throat. I'm guessing that I caught his sickness. There were four other workers their just sitting around cause they were not busy and now I know why. But the man who did my services was very sick and should not have been exposing his germs to customers plus he didn't even remove the callouses on my heels and the 5 min timer he set to massage.my.feet he spent in the back being sick and this hands down was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail shop. Little to no English, my water was super hot. I asked for the $70 foot pedicure. They charged me $80 for the $70 price instead. Nobody asked me how I was doing the entire time. They also spoke in their language the entire time. I and my sisters hinted they were talking not so positive about us as well. My toe nails were also not painted very well. My nail polish is see-through and some toes are not painted very well. This is my first time going to this nail salon. I have heard they do nails much better and at a more reasonable price as well!. Absolutely terrible. First time the forgot the base coat on my left hand so the gel polish peeled off within 2 days. This time I went for a pedicure, my nail split in half and it looks horrendous. I'm going on a trip next week and I'm going to have a horrible looking pedicure to go along with it. Never again will I waste anymore money there. He also stabbed me with the sharp tip on the cleaner end of the brush and I asked him not to cut the side of my nails and he clipped one anyway. read more

Just had a pedicure. Very unhappy. Pedicure seems to take along time I was having a hard time understanding the technician. That is expected. When she was finished she put oil all over the ends of my toes and left to do someone else. She was told to go back to me. She wiped the oil off and when she went to put my sandals on she messed up my back toe and told me it was my fault and I should never wear those shoes to this shop again. She repainted the nail continuously telling me it was my fault. Then from a huge bag pulled out a pair of the shop flops they use so they don't ruin the pedicure. The nail tech was new, so I didn't get Upset when the foot bath water ran out on the Floor on my purse and shoes. I really wanted to love this nail salon and call it my salon away from home but I was extremely disappointed with the type of customer service they give to new customers. I had no issues with the person who greeted me at the cash register but the nail techs themselves were so dry, cold and unengaged. No "hello" after I greeted the tech a few times. They made me change from one tech to another. Gave me the impression that the first tech did not want to do my nails. They also charge $35 for a basic gel manicure... and that's without a color as I chose clear this time around. I moved to Kingman from Phoenix and that seemed a little more expensive than I'm used to. Personally I think you would be better off trying another nail salon. No way when basic price is more than other places locally. Lady who did mine was more concerned talking to other employees than doing the "rubs" . Would put on lotions/scrub and then sit with her hands on legs not moving them. No undercoat on nails before polish so it's not going to stick. Spent more time wiping polish off toes than applying to nails. Not worth it will go back to another place... explains why the wait is so long at the other place in town. read more

I made an appointment for 4 of us on 01/02 and it was extremely busy. I didn't mind the wait time because I could tell they were busy but I went to Alex while my friend went to someone else at the exact same time. Alex completely rushed me out of there. I chose the $55 pedicure where I was supposed to choose a bath bomb. He didn't let me choose he just threw one in. Kind of wondered what would have happened if I was allergic to an ingredient he chose. While cutting my nails, he told me I had an ingrown nail that he "got out". I told him I wasn't aware, as I had no pain what so ever. He cut my nails, then started painting. (With a color I didn't choose because they were out of the one I wanted). My friend next to me started getting her foot grated (haha whatever it's called) and scrubbed and I asked her if we chose the same one. She said yes and I informed Alex. He told me he does everything else after. So he does a quick two coats (without a base coat-which I also noticed my friend got in hers) and then scrubs my foot with a different item than my friends. He then gets the hot towels, starts the timer, and then does a very very quick "massage", washed me off and said I was done. At this point, my friend is finally just getting her toes painted. I was very upset with how much I was rushed. Now it is 01/04 and I am truly feeling like I have an ingrown nail and my toe is in pain. I feel like he pushed my nail back, actually giving me one. My gel polish also chipped the day after I got them done. He also missed the sides when painting my toes. If anyone has any other recommendations for nail salons, let me know! read more

I believe this is my first yelp review. I paid $70 for a mani/pedi and it was not a great experience. I started bleeding after they cleaned up my cuticles and instead of holding pressure, he just painted over the blood... I brushed it off and just paid the amount. However, I returned home to find my pedicure completely smudged off. I went back to get it fixed and the guy just painted over it with 3 coats of gel polish back to back. Obviously that was not going to dry and so I asked if they could just use the UV light after waiting 15 minutes. He basically said no and that it was dry and shooed me out the door. I was so excited to finally get my nails done right before Easter and did so much research which unfortunately did me no good. Spent $100 and I was left in tears. When I walked in I wasn't greeted or told what to do, I eventually figured out I had to register on the tablet to see someone after sitting for 10-15 minutes. This older gentleman that had only been working there for 2 weeks (as he stated) did my nails. He didn't cut my nails or remove my cuticles at all and he applied WAY too much acrylic. It was drying while dripping and he left it like that! I've had acrylics many times but they have never hurt me so bad. He even asked me if this was my first time after I complained. When I told him that I wanted them fixed he said if I kept complaining he couldn't do my nails at all so I let him do his job. Final result, one nail is badly crooked and half of it came off within a few hours of having them done. There was several layers of acrylic dried onto my skin around my nails which destroyed my skin and made it very red and irritated. I paid extra for 3D flowers, every single one fell off the same day. They told me I could come back to have them put back on... I go back and they kind of file down the glue that's all over my nails and put really shitty dotted flowers instead very fast, which made them look crooked. Now my nails have grown out a bit and you can see how none of the acrylics fit any of my nails either, it's either too big or too small and the shaping is very bad. I went in 8/14/19, I initially was going to get a dip nail, then changed my mind and got just a manicure. My lady was older and was in a hurry. She cute cuticles and didn't even use a lite file square to smooth out the edge of nails and cuticles. The place was dated, and filthy. My nails are chipping less than 24 hours later. The wife went in to have her nails done (she had been doing this twice a month). At noon there was an hour wait, then at one we came back and after an hour wait, they seated two people who came in after us. Then they had my wife sit at an extra chair to soak her nails (to save time they said). Then when it was her turn (one of the ladies that went ahead of us was done). They completely ruined one of her nails (because they were soaking to long) all her nails were too thin and brittle. My wife was fed up at this time and refused to have anymore work done to her nails, and we left. On the way home she cut her nails all back, and they are so thin now, she keeps breaking and tearing them. This place will never see us again! BTW - You know how bugs collect in light fixtures when someone is poor at housekeeping? Well, they had plenty of dead bugs in their light fixtures, even a couple of roaches. read more

I am very disappointed with how I was serviced. I got my nails done, and within a day my nails were red, burning, I had to leave work to get them removed and they refused to refund me. I'm not sure if there equipment is not clean. I have gotten my nails done before. I have skin missing from my fingers. Walked in for a pedicure and fill they started me on my pedicure and then during tell me my fill is going to be an hour till they start me. I'm not one for writing reviews but this isn't the first time this has happened to me here. 3 weeks ago i had an appointment and i sat there for an hour and 20 mins until i saw anyone. I understand maybe being short staffed but don't take walk ins make appointments and be more professional. Many angry women walk in and out of this salon. It's sad. To come into a salon and hear nothing but pissed off women. Not an organized company and the doors are gonna close if they keep doing this to women. read more
