I recently moved here from Idaho. Looking for a Great hairstylist that would listen to me...I've been growing my hair out for over 5 yrs...it grows very slowly so I had a long layered look. In the back it was to bottom of bra strap. Because of the ratings of this salon I called and talked to Lisa and she could get me in next day. I have natural brown hair with some gray and have added highlights to blend in but I wanted some Carmel lowlights. When I got there Lisa was very nice we discussed what I wanted and I knew my hair needed a good trim. I asked to not take more than an inch off the bottom. Lisa did the low light color it turned out great..a little more red than I wanted but it was fine! Then she went to trimming my hair at first she did just right of the ends but when she started to do the layers I didn't realize that she was pulling up the very bottom of my hair and cutting more off the length with the layers...I was seeing all of this hair fall to the floor...by the time I realized she was cutting more of my length off it was to late to say anything. The layering turned out good except now I had lost 4 inches off my length in back and 3 inches off the side. I'm so bummed about the length when reaching around my back I can barely touch the back. I'm heartbroken because it takes so long to grow. I don't know if anyone there does extensions which are very expensive so not sure that would be an option. Anthony was there and he was very happy and nice to me! The color and layers were good but cutting my length off sooooo much when I had asked not too take anymore than an inch to get the bad ends off was upsetting. It has taken me 4 days to make this post..if I go back unfortunately it will not be to Lisa. read more

Lisa by far is a really good barber, the fades have no lines and the fade is amazing. She also gave me a straight razer shave with a facial massage. Felt incredible. I refer to get this service hands down. read more

Julie is THE BEST. she is the only person i've ever trusted with my hair. she gets me in quick, she asks what i need, i let her know what i want and she gets it. she's super quick, one of my favorite things about her. she does your hair just the way you want it, even better. she knows what she's doing. not only is she incredible at hairstyles/haircuts, she's easy going to talk to and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. the establishment itself is fun and open. i can't recommend bit of heaven enough, and again, go see Julie! read more

I had an appointment to correct a bad haircut and a color. Correction, I drove 30 minutes to be told that the hairstylist had an emergency and he had texted me, but I never received any text and the owner. Whoever she was told me oh well he is dyslexic but we can book you for next week. I don't want an appointment next week matter fact I never wanna come back to that place that was super unprofessional. A phone call would've been nice so I didn't drive all the way out there and waste my time and I could've found another place. and plus the place did not look very clean. Honestly, i've worked in Customer Service for over 25 years and this was completely unacceptable. If your hairstylist had an emergency then you find another hairstylist and if you can't do that, you need to call. read more

Julie always does an amazing job on my hair and eyebrows. Have been going to a bit of heaven since 2012

I would be cautious about this salon. My relative booked an appointment for graduation, and her hair ended up chemically damaged and breaking off. Instead of helping resolve the issue, she was told to figure it out on her own. If you have sensitive hair or skin, I would avoid this place. read more

Jaeden is the best! I look forward to my nail appointments every couple of weeks! She is great at what she does, bit of heaven is nothing but good vibes they are all so welcoming read more

Julie is just amazing and listens to what you like for a cut in the salon is very clean and the people are very friendly

Great spa pedicure and facial services with Susan. She is really nice and knows what she's doing.

Straight up five stars!!!! If I could give more I would!! Inside this business you will find three generations of very talented women. They are sweet, funny, and friendly. Thankfully I missed my nail fill at another shop and wandered into this shop. These ladies do an amazing job, better than anyone else I have gone to here. The shop is cute and very welcoming. read more

Just WOW. I really can not say enough fantastic things about this place. Every staff member and even other clients that were in there were extremely friendly and warming. I walked in to the facility a few days ago to make an appointment. Anthony was with another client but was more than happy to make me an appointment and listen to what I was looking for. I pretty much left it up to him to come up with the final look. I am honestly not sure what I expected but let me tell you this far exceed any expectation and am so happy I found this place. read more

paid $75 dollars for my wife to get literal cat nails done, wrong shape, claimed they don't designs but I literally watched another client get a design. used both builder gel and acrylic on top of each other. won't not recommend for anyone!!! read more

Thank you for a great first impression! Anthony is an amazing hair stylist and so fun to work with. I loved how he curled my hair! I need to know how to do this. He is very quick and I just love the style I was given. So easy. Sue gave me a gel polish pedicure and a lovely coffin acrylic set. The length and shape is perfect! She really takes her time to make sure the look is right. I appreciate her opinions with me about which shape to get, and she was honest with me about her ability to complete the design I wanted. With the help of Rae for my artwork, I am happy to have given A Bit of Heaven my business and time! Thank you again! See you next time. read more

So, new to Arizona. Picked Bit of Heaven because of their good reviews. Went today for a brow wax & pedi. Miranda is delightful and gave me probably the best pedi I've had in years. Going back tommorrow for a manicure. Give them a try ladies... small place, but super friendly ! She took her time... I'm use to 20 minutes and you're outta there! It was great.. read more

Horrible service they scheduled me for 4pm and when I told them I get off work at 4pm and it's about a 20 min drive they assured me that it would be okay not a big deal I said great fast forward to the day of my appointment I get off at 4 call them at 4:10 to let them know I was almost there just for them to tell me they couldn't take me and I was shit out of luck. I love clarifying I was going to be exactly 20 mins late and being assured it was okay to then getting to told to fuck off, absolutely horrible would not recommend even if there work was excellent you should always be honest when scheduling clients read more

Me and my family have been coming here for quite awhile and Julie has been the absolute best, very accommodating and welcoming! We love her! My sister recently made a hair appointment and from what we were told Miranda specializes in that area. So she booked with her, my sister's first appointment came and Julie had called and asked if it was okay if they can push the appointment back by an hour and my sister was willing to accommodate them. A personal emergency came up within that hour and she was 20 minutes late for her first appointment, so she did have to reschedule. Her second appointment came and we arrived 10 minutes early, for Miranda to tell us that one of the employees removed my sister off her schedule and booked someone else. Her demeanor was very predictable, I seen it coming it's as if she just didn't want us to be there. She did not know what was going on between her bookings, very unorganized. It was just a bit odd because I'm a young entrepreneur who has clientele of different races and ethnicities, and I know exactly who's booked with me that exact day and time frame. I asked if anything can be accommodated and Miranda chuckled a bit and said no, she couldn't even accommodate a re-book. That was just a very disappointing and very unprofessional experience. If Miranda didn't want my sister to re-book why was it an option last time? Just say no from the get go. - from one young entrepreneur to Miranda (an employee) read more

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! It was closing but Julie waited for me to do a quick trim on my hair that was badly needing it. Had not been trimmed in nearly a year. She is super sweet and friendly. I will definitely go back to her again as often as I can. read more

Went in today with my daughter 7m and my mother in law.not only was it not friendly place, very unorganized. The health department was in there and wrote 2 lady's up for unclean nail containers. They had the health department lady speak in front of all customers. It was very awkward and very unprofessional to discuss what they did in front of customers. I'm from California and never once experience something like this. Will never go back and will mail in the free spa pedicure that I got as well from a drawling.. read more

So this place was recommended by someone so I decided to check it out. I had a bad experience at Walmart when I got my haircut so I decided to try someplace new. Low and behold when I walked in the same girl that messed up my hair at Walmart works at Bit of Heaven. She is the one that cut my hair. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and allowed her to cut my hair again. Of course I never know if it is actually cut right until I go home and straighten my hair. It is uneven and I do not like it. I should have known that she would mess up my hair again. Ladies if you go there do not allow a blonde hair girl named Tanya cut your hair. She needs a lot more practice. It really sucks because I am getting married in 5 weeks and I really wanted my hair to look good. I give up. I am not letting anyone touch my hair again. I had to give it a star but I didn't want. She didn't even tell me how much the haircut cost. I gave her $100 bill and she brought me back $80 and took $20. I tipped her $7 but had I known after styling my hair that it was uneven I would not have tipped her at all. read more

The sign says "Walk-ins Welcome" and it's true. I felt comfortable right away and they were able to immediately get me in for a haircut and a pedicure. Very relaxed atmosphere but the operators are first-rate and really know their crafts. I've already referred them 3 new customers! read more

She over charged us!! Scheduled 2 pedicures (one female & one male) and they were done back to back, not simultaneously ! No foot bath, she had portable tubs of warm tap water. The only thing she did was cut and shape our nails. She did not massage our feet or legs and we did not get a hot towel wrap. She did not use a base coat or top coat when she did my polish. She said the charge was $52.00. We said to add $10.00 for a tip. When I got the receipt, it showed $72.00. I texted her and asked her to adjust it to $62.00. She never did. Will never use her again!! read more

Do not go here if you decide you want them to mess with blonde in your hair! I got my hair highlighted by Paige but she was so scared to touch my hair and kept asking her mother in law who was the manager or owner how it looks like 4 times throughout my hair session. She kept saying "your hair won't catch blonde" but the front was super blonde and the back was caramel. She is NOT someone to go to! She doesn't have enough experience. After I left I looked through my hair and my sister took pics of the back of my hair of all the bleeding she gave me. DO NOT GO TO PAIGE!! read more

I went to Bit of Heaven and had a great experience.. The stylist Tanya was very good and did exactly what I asked her too.. The cut was great. I am a PE teacher so I don't have a lot of time in the day to get in to get my hair cut. I called and she got me in a out quick and did a wonderful job. No wasting time. I will definitely tell the other teachers about her and Bit of Heaven. Thanks Bit of Heaven and Tanya.. Now I know where to go for good.. read more
