I've not been driving my 10-yr x5 for more than 1 yr. But I decided to put it back on road due to family reasons. I was so frustrated to hear local dealer said it would cost more than 10k to fix and local mechanic stores don't want to work on BMW engine and transmission. Then I randomly googled online for shop good at BMW/euro car, and this placed called Z&P Motor popped up, with 1 hr driving from my home. i was a customer of gunral for almost 30 yrs. not only were they good mechanics but they were honest. i gave the new owners a few chances. they failed each time. 1st they told me that i had what was becoming a serious trans leak. it was going to cost 250. a year later i'm still waiting for that leak. they also busted my wipers when they were just supposed change the wiper. i was flabbergasted. now for the good news : z&p are great mechanics and honest. they fixed the wipers ,showing me were the connecting piece was bent. i asked about my brake and was told that i had about 10000 miles left. i did need 2 new calipers and i decided to go for the brakes too. nice and honest and good mechanics read more
