I love this market in Millbrae. I didn't expect to find good Russian candies and goodies on…read moreValentine's Day over here this year, but I have found more than enough today. Their candies/chocolates/cookies/breads are all very good in selections and prices. Amazing. Affordable. Some items are much cheaper than other places. It's very convenient and successful in the area on Broadway. Fruits and vegetables do stand out. It felt like I'm not in the U.S. for a moment after browsing the aisles. Fresh fresh fresh! All items looked good. Not sure if owner is Russian or European, but it's a unique place for visitors. These markets are more popular in streets of Paris, France and other parts of Europe. I loved the fruit prices and wide selections/so clean and organized with passionate employees enjoying their jobs. Cashier was quick and experienced. Box of $6.99 Russian coconut almond candy was very strong in flavor and coconut/nice! The box itself was beautiful too. Tempting. Chocolates were all outstanding from the box covers. Most quality goodies can be found for under $10 per box/pack. Under $15 range is pretty decent for larger items. Not bad for a good find on Valentine's Day. I'll revisit next time. Great impression so far.

This is not my first time to this very nice market, let's see how this visit went:…read more Parking is at will or on the street only. Inside the market is a modestly lit establishment, but it works well for what they are trying to achieve. The market sells a wide variety of commodities and fresh produce; as well as items from other countries. The service was nice and friendly. I will always continue to come back to this outstanding fresh produce market.

This is the *real deal* kinda acupuncture, a little off the beaten path and well worth it…read more There's no frills or spiritual-bypassing newagey stuff on the walls here. 2 cute fish and a traditional office space. The down-to-earth receptionists are more than willing to check insurance plans over the phone and give you personal time to go over details for your appointment. You really get the feeling of in-person heart care here. A big improvement from my old acupuncture spot where 1/4 calls I might get a live person (located in a different place than the clinic) and a bunch of chatty noise in the next room while I'm trying to let the needles do their thang. It's quiet, welcoming, fully wheelchair accessible, parking is easy, and it's super close to the 101 and 280/380 junction. Highly recommended!

I would like to say Thank you to Dr. Tsai and Dr. Wang for taking such good care of me…read more I had a big rash on my face a month ago. Then I went to my primary doctor. She gave me Zyrtec, also a cortisone cream to apply. 10 days later, my rash was still there on and off. I knew it, all western doctors only treat the symptom not the cause. Apparently didn't work for me. So I've decided to try different alternatives. When I met Dr. Tsai and Dr. Wang. They were super nice. The first appointment, they spent time to get my medical background to find out what may cause this happened. During the treatment, they were attentive and explained what may cause. I learned a lot from them. Due to my two major surgeries plus Covid, menopause, I thought my case was complicated. However, I got my problem resolved. I see the progression after each treatment. Also I was very careful with my diet. Now my face is getting a lot better and I feel SO SO happy I am getting my normal life back again. Highly recommend this place :)

Saw Dr. Ho a while back and neglected to write this. It would be 5 stars were it not for one thing…read morethat happened. I got positive results in that it seemed to reduce the pain for which I went to see him and though it stopped working after a while, I don't attribute this to his practice but to that my system seems to get desensitized no matter the type of intervention. He is a man of few words and has a lot of confidence in his demeanor, which is fine, not that I wanted him to say any more than he was. Either it's his nurse or his receptionist, which might be his wife, who after the needles have been for a while, comes in and removes the needles. The office is centrally located and clean and neat inside, looking more like a house with a long narrow corridor and multiple rooms. The cost for services seems like the rate for this area, and though he does other stuff like cupping, I never got that done (only acupuncture). Once, what happened is: I walked there and back from my house, and as I was walking back from the acupuncture, noticed a horrific pain in my right calk. I never lifted my pant leg to see, I just kept walking. That's totally on me and my mistake. I should've stopped to see WTF was the matter. It wasn't till I got home and took off my pants, that I saw the needle still in my calf! He normally put needles all up and down my body,, and tbh, I always closed my eyes so never knew the exact locations. When I saw that needle, I freaked out, took it out. Called their office and massively complained. I was shocked that they were not more apologetic, and rather matter of fact. Huh? Is this a thing of such frequency in the acupuncture world that my reaction is overkill? Not sure. But still, it would've been nice to get a profuse apology and remorse/regret, but I didn't. I did go back after that, and in that visit, mentioned again the incident with the needle left in my calf, and he didn't seem all that bothered. Not long after that, a few visits more and I stopped.
