If you go at dinner time (6-730) especially on a weekend, you should expect to wait in line. But once you order, the service is quick and the food comes out hot. Some of my favourite menu items are the hot and sour soup, spring rolls (don't sleep on these!), fried chicken wings (that put KFC to shame), honey garlic spare ribs (once they're gone keep the plate so you can drizzle the sauce on EVERYTHING), chicken black bean, chicken and vegetable fried noodles, and salt and pepper shrimp. The interior of the restaurant is very charming, with wooden tables, colorful murals and cute lamps. We each ordered a broth, which came with noodles and side dishes. These included a quail egg, luncheon meat, broccoli, tofu skin, corn, fish tofu, some cooked grown pork, wood ear mushrooms, goji berries (??) and green onions (???). These last two side dishes were a tad disappointing; I don't think anybody would consider six goji berries or five pieces of green onions as anything meal-like. It felt a bit cheap. The broths came in extremely hot, as usual, and were quite tasty. The noodles remained nice and chewy throughout the meal. Note: Nouilles de Yunnan has an alternative name: Kan Bai.

We ordered the laksa soup , the deep fried pork chop with rice, Bacon and onion cream sauce and The sausage luncheon meat and pan fried egg. You could substitute the rice for spaghetti or penne for a dollar extra. For the price of the laksa soup there is a lot of ingredients inside a lot of vegetables the noodles are good portion very filling. I'm normally not a fan of coconut but the laksa soup was very good it wasn't overly potent with the coconut taste. The deep fried pork chop were really good and crispy and still moist and not dry inside the sauce was thickWent really well with the pork chops. Every order comes with coffee or tea milk tea to be exact. You can have the choice of adding a specialty drink for only $2 which is an incredible price! For the drinks we ordered the apple milk tea and a mango milk tea. They were both really good really refreshing! (It doesn't come with bubble it's an extra charge for it) If you purchased either Western menu or a soup I suggest I recommend also grabbing a drink for2$ it's truly worth it for the price and the size. Also while you're waiting they give you a small cup of toasted walnuts to snack on which is nice, thoughtful And different from other restaurants. Every meal comes with a milk tea unsweetened they give you sugar to add to your liking.Highly recommend this place

They didn't have a physical carryout menu so I had to take pictures of the actual menu instead. I asked for extra spicy for the mapo tofu and mild spicy on the fish fillet with pickled vegetable soup. They still put a generous amount of peppers in the pickled vegetable soup. The numbing spiciness level is on a authentically intense level. Although I had no problem with that, people who are not used to the real spice levels with this cuisine may need to be emphasize low spiciness or no spiciness when ordering. Fresh peppers instead of dried peppers are used and both dishes tasted superb. If you are not from Canada, remember to order white rice as it is not included. Also ask them to include utensils when getting carryout. The tables are clean and the place has a nice casual decor with oil paintings of pictures of Sichuan province.

Our server was great and came by frequently to refill our waters. The menu is huge with soup, cold and hot appetizers, meats (chicken, pork, beef, fish, seafood and other), vegetables, noodles & rice, lunch specials and a chef's menu. Massive. - Rice ($6.00 medium) - always find it ridiculous when you have to have pay for rice. A medium was good enough to share between two. - Tofu flower & sliced halibut in a chili pepper and szechuan peppercorn broth (#75) ($14.99) - soft, tender fish but the broth lacked that spicy numbness that I crave with Szechuan food. I liked the soft pieces of tofu. Overall, it was tasty but the version at Délice Oriental is much more satisfying. - Yu xiang eggplant with dou ban jiang (#97) ($9.99) - we weren't expecting the sauce to be so sweet. Decent but one dimensional. - Stir fried green beans with chills and ground pork (#102) ($10.99) - normally, I love green beans but CS's version was salty. Much too liberal with the salt. Average. You get 8 options of soup base for your noodles. I got a two chili peppers option and it was actually real spicy, which I loved. All noodles come with 10 small dishes that you have to add to your soup, which already contains plenty of meat. The noodles were real authentic, just as I remembered from Yunnan. The soup though was my favourite part; so flavourful I can drink it all day. One serving of noodles with the sides was plenty to fill me up but additional servings of noodles are free if you're really hungry! The price of the soup bases is around 11$, but an addition of meat is mandatory for 3$, so each bowl is actually really 14$. Well worth it for the quality and quantity! Something about hand pulled noodles always hit differently than other noodles. The spiced noodles had excellent flavour and every noodle was coated in the tomato sauce/chili oil. I didn't know you can adjust the spice level so it was a bit spicy for me, but tolerable. The beef noodle soup on the other hand was a lot lighter in flavour, soup was almost bland. We got the "Original oil spilled noodles three in one" and the "Stir-fried noodles with vegetables and seafood". The food was hot and fresh when it arrived, and the plating was still beautiful. The hot chili oil on top of the "oil spilled" noodles packed solid heat! The pickled string beans were particularly good, and the beef was quite tasty. It could have used more coriander, and was just a tiny bit sweeter and less salty than what I would have preferred, but the flavours were really good overall! The seafood noodles only had shrimps as "seafood", but the flavours were also good. The main flavour profile was soy sauce, which complimented the stir-fried veggies well. I would have liked slightly larger portions with perhaps more meat, but the overall experience was good. The chewiness and freshness of their noodles is what stood out the most for me!
