A surprising treat for late night meal! I came here with a few friends around 11:30 pm on a whim. There was no line when we arrived, and after a few minutes, our orders were taken. We were told food would be ready in 10 minutes. It really seemed like they made everything fresh to order, and we got our food in less than 10 min. You have your chicken sandwich, the star of the show, tenders, fries, and that usually does it. You also choose your spice level. I went with the sandwich at the second spice level which ended up being pretty spicy. Definitely felt the burn in my mouth. I can handle white boy spicy but not real spicy so take that into account when reading my review. This is a very, very solid hot chicken sandwich y'all. The chicken was flavorful, thicc (can't help it), and complimented well by the sauce and coleslaw. I will say that one downside is that rather than having a plump chicken breast, you actually have tenders in your sandwich. As a result, pieces of chicken will likely fall out of your sandwich as you demolish it. Also, the bread mentioned on the menu isn't what I actually ended up getting. While they were both saucy, I'd say the sauce on clutch city's was definitely less flavorful. It was almost like it was there to just provide a dressing but not to add taste. However, yummy's has a distinctive curry taste that those who don't like curry might not enjoy. The cole slaw and bun were pretty comparable. If you want the classic hot chicken taste, go with clutch city. If you want a curry twist, go with yummy's. - Value: I paid extra for the second tender in the clutch city sandwich which makes it look decently bigger but also cost $2ish more compared to the yummy's chicken which came with two smaller tenders. The bun of the clutch city sandwich was decently bigger than yummy's, so I think it needs that boost of another tender. - Service: don't be deceived if yummy's looks closed when you first get there. The windows were shut and the the lights looked dark when I showed up (it was a hot day so I guess they were trying to save AC), but I called the to go order number on the truck and someone appeared.
