Service is on point! Friendly and accurate customer service! Our waitress was exceptional! This is clearly a family owned small local business! Prices are reasonable and if you spend $40 or more (which we did) you get free crab rations! 4 of them and they are big and delicious! For $45 with tax we got the seaweed salad, and huge pan fried potstickers. For appetizers, I got a dragon roll (sushi), and my date got a beef and broccoli teriyaki bowl! We were stuffed and took some leftovers home too! The food is fresh and delicious! Best pan fried pot stickers ever! They were huge! Twice the size of normal ones, almost three times the size! I have been here a few times and each time they have lived up to their name Yummy sushi. Not only do they serve sushi and Japanese food they also have a full Chinese food menu as well. They are so friendly and sweet. I love there California rolls. Always fresh and tasty. I order there prawns and vegetable lunch plate which comes with fresh sauted prawns, veggies, salad and rice (charge a couple extra dollars at dinner time). In addition the lady who works the front desk has been acting very irritated and gives you an attitude if you ask for some extra soy sauce to go. Since moving to the valley, we've been on the search for a good sushi place and finally gave this place a try. Located in a strip mall, next-door to Mountain Mike's Pizza, and lots of other eateries. Got there late on a Sunday afternoon and the place was deserted, which is normally a no go for me but there was a lot of food going out for delivery and being picked up. Food is solid good as in not great but not bad. We weren't wowed but we left with our tummies filled and it didn't break the bank. Place also serves Chinese food, and there appears to be lots of specials. Based on the food, I'm assuming it's Chinese owners who are also including sushi in their menu. We only ordered the basic bento boxes and California roll for the babes. My Salmon teriyaki was well done but luckily not dry. Hubbs got a pile of teriyaki chicken that he couldn't finish. Miso soup was blah, with no flavor. We were provided complementary edamame, which is a nice touch. I believe the fellow who prepared our food was meticulous, but not normally the cook, because he also forgot the salad dressing that we had to ask for, and the tempura shrimp in our Yummy roll?! Hubbs ordered the roll so I didn't realize until after we had left. I think we got the spicy California roll instead?! Solid food and prices are on the cheap side. I came here for a family dinner. When I entered inside i noticed the interior was dated, but that doesn't deter me. We were greeted right away and the staff showed us to our table. The staff was very nice and friendly. You can order Chinese food and sushi here. My parents opted for Chinese dishes and my brother and I ordered sushi. This restaurant is a jewel ! I had lunch , Mongolian Beef , with chow mein and hot and sour soup . My friend had the sweet and sour pork it was delicious and the chicken fried rice was the best I've ever had ! We had pot stickers and the owner gave us complimentary cream cheese puff appetizer !! This was our first time here. We went here at around lunchtime, and only one other table being served. There was a fly in the place that was bothering us where we sat, and I brought it up to the server. Instead of doing something about it, she started blaming us for "bringing it with us". She doubled down after we started shooing the fly away from our food. The server's reaction and the fly were so upsetting that we just took our food to go. The staff were helpful, attentive and so very kind! They gave us two appetizers on the house, just because :). We gave the chef creative liberty on our sushi and everything was delicious. I grew up coming into this restaurant when it was New China. The previous family that ran that restaurant was wonderful and we were sad to see them go....I'm not sure if the staff here now are family, but they were just as kind, warm and inviting as the previous owners and we're thankful for another family-friendly spot in town! I truly enjoy this place. I have not been disappointed a single time yet and I have been a lot already. I can't wrap my head around some of the negative reviews. I am sooo happy a super yummy sushi place has opened here in Ripon because I gave the other place several chances and was so disappointed every time. So far everything has tasted fresh. I disagree with another review, the miso soup has plenty of flavor! The little side salad has great dressing. The little side salads are always very basic and it's all about the dressing. There's is very tasty and I order extra to put it over the top of rice. Try it, you can thank me later. Also i like their wasabi! It tastes very potent to me. Strong flavor and wasabi burn. I like a lot of wasabi. A little goes a long way here. Some places you have to use or mix a lot and this is not the case here. I enjoy and recommend the golden dragon roll, cherry crunch roll, red dragon roll, the sashimi and nigiri- especially the salmon and tuna. And of course the the soup, salad, spice tuna roll if you want to keep it simple. I've had other things like chicken katsu, lion king roll for the husband and other things I can't remember it all.
