We had a great experience working with Yummy Mummy on getting a breast pump. My wife OBGYN actually sent over the prescription to them when we asked for another company to fulfill the order due to her insurance only accepting that one. That company was horrible to work with and took forever to send us a breast pump so when she came under my insurance, we use that to order it from Yummy Mummy. Since they already had the prescription order on file, my wife just had to put in her information and medical card on their website. Once she did that, they shipped out the breast pump the same day and we got it 2 days later. We received a text when the order was accepted and when it was sent out. We were just never given a tracking number and the website just shows processing for the order. But we are still happy with the overall easy experience after dealing with another company that was horrible. read more

I received my order literally one day after ordering online and calling in that I've already had my baby. The women I spoke to was kind. She said she'll expedite my order so they can check with insurance and see if it's approved. I guess it was approved that same hour or something because the order came the next day. We did not have a good experience with Yummy Mummy. We are five days post due date and still no pump in hand. Service reps and supervisors were dismissive, disorganized, and apathetic. Avoid using this company. Order was placed three months before due date, with appropriate paperwork submitted. We were assured pump would ship a month prior to due date (online policy states order will be shipped 60 days before). A month out we had to make weekly phone calls requesting shipment status. Service reps were very vague with their reasonings as to why delivery was delayed, but assured we had done everything right and that we would receive our order soon. We were even promised overnight shipping three times. We made one more attempt on our due date and again were promised over night. We have received tracking but are still waiting for our pump. As someone that is pregnant with a list of other things to worry about before baby, this is the last headache you want to deal with. We will advise our insurance provider to stop recommending this company. read more

They wanted me to wait longer than a week to get the breast pump when I'm due in THREE DAYS THREE DAYS and I submitted my order three weeks ago. I never experienced a company that just hangs up on their customers. Look at another website for your breast pump. WARNING: This is a very misleading, faulty company. Avoid. The website is extremely misleading. I selected "blue shield of CA" and ordered a pump, only to be told that they only taking BSC PPO, not HMO. This is not clearly listed on the website at all. I got an email saying my order was cancelled. What a waste of my time. Don't buy from this company and tell your fellow mothers not do so either. They seem very untrustworthy. But what sets Yummy Mummy apart for me (I give them 5+ star) -- when my baby was 2 months old, I was displaced by the Eaton Fire without my pump. I've had the worst experience with this company! Stay away! Not worth the headache or stress. I have been given such a difficult time by this company. When I first placed my order, I called to make sure everything was in order and I was asked to send them my insurance authorization to complete the order. I did that and was then told it wasn't enough and they needed me to get a prescription from my doctor. So on top of having to wait & getting an actual written prescription, I go ahead and send it to them hoping to get a breast pump asap. Nope! They now ask for my doctor to fill out their specific form! I sent it over to my doctor who then submitted it to them. Yet here we are; I am now 2 months postpartum and still no breast pump.My order is stuck on "pending" and my emails continue to be ignored! This has been causing unnecessary stress for me and my milk supply has began to decrease. I spoke to a representative who assured me she would look into it and reach out to her team. They were running a sale on their website. Ordered last week, just received an e-mail my entire order was canceled due to 'out of stock'. Every single item? I ordered at least 10 items, not one was in stock? Why bother to have a sale if you have nothing to sell? What a great experience! Our insurance had sent us on a goose chase to find a local supplier, so when we finally ordered baby was only a week out! Prices were competitive and they got our insurance approved the next day. I chatted with a rep that confirmed we could request 2 day or overnight shipping for a reasonable amount, so our pump should be here several days before baby arrives!!! SCAM! I put my order in on July 13th my due date was July 29th . . I had my daughter on August 5th you would think with that extra time I would have gotten my pump! Would never recommend this to anyone. They billed me a pump that I never purchased, never sent them any OB information nor insurance. They keep sending me mails that i have to pay $170 and because the whole time I thought they were a scam for sending me bills of a product I never received, I never respondeed and they filed a case to an attorney that I wasnt paying my bill. We'll I guess I would still consider Yummy Mummy Scammer, since this did not just happened to me, because of what happened, I read some reviews and they were in the same situation as mine. Wow! I am a very type B person, a procrastinator and last minute. I'm due in 30 days and Yummy Mummy made processing my order through insurance so easy! The online chat portal agent was helpful. Then I had to call to clarify something with my insurance and they helped me do everything over the phone (short hold time). I had to follow up with my health provider and as soon as they sent the paper work over to yummy mummy I got an email from them that everything was processed successfully (less then an hour from when they received the faxed over form). Called 4 times to try to resolve an issue for the breast pump I purchased from Yummy Mummy. Agents didn't know the answer to my issue and promised to call back. A month later my baby is already born and still no call back. I called again and another agent promised me to call back. Guess what- no call back in another two weeks. I finally just decided to return the unopened box and they responded one time trying to persuade me not to return it, and I responded no i do not wanna keep it. It has been a week since I emailed and I'm so frustrated having to take care of my newborn and trying to resolve this issue at the same time. Don't know what's happened since then. I called multiple times over the course of 2 months to rent a pump out of pocket. This is after I emailed and did not receive a response. Whenever I did reach a human, they took my info and never called back. Yesterday I expressed my frustration at the person who answered and explained all of the above. She guaranteed someone would call back at 3:30pm, after a meeting, which, surprise, never happened. I called again this morning, they asked for my information again so someone could call me back.
